If I leave in the middle of flight school will it save my progress?

  1. For the offshore approach on the merryweather heist, micheal has to do flight school. So I have been trying to complete it. I have 8 gold medals so far (no silver/bronze) and I want to quit for now. Can I leave the flight school (after failing one of the missions so it takes me to the flight school screen) without all my progress being lost?
