  2. Found this thread and was surprised at how long turbo controllers have been around! I just bought one for myself, was debating between 2 sites, and this one Mega Modz Macro PS4 controller seems to offer a better value. It is just much simplier to use, no need to connect to pc and do a sort of the real programming. You just decide on a command and select a controller button to make it turbo. If anyone needs more info or recommendations on macro controllers, just write here or pm me.

  1. A turbo controller is just that; a controller with turbo functions. What turbo actually does is replicates the same button pushed by the user over and over again at an extremely fast rate. For example, if a user manually tried to do crouching jab punches with Balrog as fast as they could, there would still be at least a half second delay in between the initial jab and the following jabs. With turbo, they would be flying out so fast you would see nothing but a flurry of punches like a machine gun.

A modded controller can contain turbo, but allows for the user to program in commands for each button (i.e to do a fireball or a super) with just one push, instead of actually doing the move command.

The only difference between the two is that a turbo controller does not have programmable functions (see Street Fighter IV arcade sticks).

  2. It's correct, but 99.9% of people don't use them. Instead, they actually try to learn the game. However, they are available, although you may have to do some scouting for them. Google it, and see what comes up.
