Introduction

Note: I know this is a relatively old game, I found a half-completed walkthrough that I had started well back in the day and decided to complete it in its entirety. I hope its not too late to help some peoples...

Why hello there! Welcome to my guide to LucasArts and Disney Interactive's latest title in the revered Star Wars franchise - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. This game tells a story of Darth Vader and a secret apprentice (you) that takes place during the Jedi purge occuring in the chronological gap between Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in an attempt to flesh out some of the events that occurred between the two movie trilogies. The Force Unleashed is an action/adventure, hack and slash title that focuses on using an array of interesting magical Force powers to destroy hordes of lesser soldiers and challenging boss fights.

This guide will provide you with a walkthrough from beginning to end helping with strategies to get you through all the tricky combat areas, detail each enemy type and how best to confront them, help you to find and complete each of the missions, bonus objectives, collect all of the game's hidden Jedi Holocrons and how to unlock all of those achievements/trophies.

Walkthrough

Prologue: Kashyyyk

After starting a new game and watching the short introduction video, you'll be placed in a brief prologue level to show you the ropes. For the duration of this tutorial section, you'll be in control of the Sith Lord Darth Vader himself. Exciting!

When you gain control of Darth Vader, pilot him forward, across the bridge and approach the gate ahead. As the game prompts you to, use a charged up blast of Force Push to destroy it.

Continue through the gate and a group of Wookie soldiers will approach from a distance and attack. Practice using your Force Grip, Force Push, Lightsaber Throw and Force Repulse abilities to take them all out in quick order. Proceed along the set path here, following the clifftop path and killing any additional Wookies that get in your way. When you reach a Wookie structure you'll need to pass through, a checkpoint will trigger.

From the Wookie structure, proceed across the bridge ahead and defeat the Wookie defenders blocking your path. At the far end of the bridge, look for a spiked wooden barricade on the right. Knock this down using a Force Push blast to create an opening through which we can proceed.

Behind the barricade, locate the Stormtroopers attacking the fleeing Wookies by the base of a large wooden/dirt ramp and climb to the top of it, force powering anything that gets in your way with extreme prejudice. Enter the building at the top of the ramp and use the elevator inside to reach the next platforms above.

Exit the building and fight the Wookies guarding the ramp above (they'll continue to spawn so keep moving!). At the top, follow the path to the right, sticking to the set route that the game funnels you along requiring you to crisscross across several structures via the use of rope bridges whilst eliminating any of the natives that cross your path.

After navigating through these bridges and once again reaching solid ground, head towards the large building nearby on your right to trigger a scene and a boss fight.

Boss Battle: Rogue Jedi

This hooded fellow is the first of many bosses in The Force Unleashed and as a concluding fight to the prologue/tutorial, he's relatively easy. The Rogue Jedi has a number of damaging attacks which range from 2-3 melee combos with his Lightsaber to using Force Push and Force Repulse to knock you back. His most dangerous ability though is his Force Grip which he'll use to pluck TIE Fighters from the sky and hurl them at us.

The good news is his Force Grip attack is well telegraphed – the boss will stick his arms in the air for a short period before launching the imperial projectile at you. When you see his arms go up, back off to a safe distance to avoid the attack.

To defeat him, you'll be required to use a combination of your force powers. We'll be able to use Force Push, Force Grip and Force Repulse on him if he isn't blocking and each of these attacks has the potential to knock him down. Whilst he's on the deck, run in and hit him with your Lightsaber a few times to inflict some serious damage.

Repeat the above tactic to reduce his health. When his health bar starts to flash red, follow the button prompts that appear at the bottom of the screen to finish him off in cinematic style.

With the fight now over, the prologue/tutorial will now be completed.

Note: At this point, you'll earn the Achievement/Trophy ‘Invasion'.

Rogue Shadow

Following the introductory mission, we'll now be in control of Starkiller. Immediately, you'll find yourself aboard the Rogue Shadow, Starkiller's ship and more specifically, a training area aboard the Rogue Shadow where we'll be able to practice various forms of combat and abilities against robotic opponents. Completing all of these training challenges will net you an achievement/trophy, but the game will drip feed them to us one power at a time. Go right ahead and complete the Force Grip tutorial now. Upon completing it, the next mission shall begin.

Mission 01: TIE Fighter Factory

Optional Objective/s:
Destroy 5 Tie Fighters.
Earn 200,000 Force Points.
Find all 15 Holocrons.

Directive: Escape the hangar

From the start, head through the passageway until you reach a locked door. Use Starkiller's Force Push to blow it down and continue inside to find a hangar. In the hangar, there will be a heated battle underway and raging below between forces of General Kota's militia and a detachment of Stormtroopers. We'll start on a catwalk. Before hopping down, look further along the catwalk ahead to find a Sith Holocron (Unlimited Energy).

To continue, we'll need to jump down into the room below and kill anything that moves. After clearing the initial enemy presence, an elevator here will bring up three additional waves of Stormtroopers which we'll need to deal with.

Once the room is clear of enemies and the waves of Stormtroopers have stopped coming, look upwards towards the top of the room. There are several TIE fighters hanging from rails mounted above the room. We'll need to destroy five of these to complete the mission's optional objective. To do so, use Starkiller's Force Throw ability to pick up and launch objects at the hanging TIE Fighters until they explode.

Before leaving this hangar, there is still another pair of Holocrons to grab. Run over and jump onto the remnants of the crashed imperial shuttle. From here jump to the catwalk opposite of our initial entry point to find a Jedi Holocron [01/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

Return to the shuttle and this time climb on top of its tail section. From here, double jump onto another catwalk above. Follow this to the end to find Jedi Holocron [02/15] (Yellow Light Sabre Crystal).

With all the loot in the room now stuffing our invisible pockets, drop back to the floor of the hangar and move up to the hangar door. Use Starkiller's Force Grip ability to grip and move the lock across the door from its original position to the left, and then upwards to have the door open. Run through the now open door for a checkpoint.

Upon reaching the next locked door, use Force Push to blow it down before moving through it and massacring the small group of militia forces within. Continue along the corridor to the left until you see a door close in front of you. At this point, turn to your right to spot a second door. Use Force Push on this to destroy it to find Jedi Holocron [03/15] (+ 10,000 Force Points) just inside.

Return to the main hallway and use Starkiller's Force Push to re-open the door in the main corridor that closed in front of us earlier.

Follow the set path here, killing the Stormtroopers ahead (the explosives here make short work of them). At the end of the tunnel, kill the enemies that emerge from the door on the left before destroy the door opposite with Force Push. This will see us exit into a large open area with TIE Fighters circling around. Our objectives will update.

Directive: Reach the second level of the construction facility

From the entrance, we'll want to turn to the right and follow the platform provided until you see a broken bridge on the left. There are several Stormtroopers along the way and a constant string of TIE Fighters flying across the gap to the left which will fire on you occasionally (we can destroy these if you forgot to destroy five in the hangar earlier for the optional objective). Approach the broken bridge and leap across the gap before killing the warring militia and Stormtrooper forces battling away on the far side.

Enter the building to the left via a swift Force Push to the door and inside, clear the Stormtroopers and Militia. Ignore everything else in the room and instead continue straight through the door opposite to find yourself back outside. There will be a Jedi Holocron [04/15] (Force Talent Sphere) hiding behind some crates here.

Return inside to the previous room and take the elevator up to the floor above. At the top of the elevator, kill the waiting Stormtroopers (make it a priority to take out the fellow on the turret at the back of the room) and when things settle down, head out the door on the right-hand side of the room for another Jedi Holocron [05/15] (Force Combo Sphere) behind some crates.

Head back inside to the top of the lift and this time, mosey on out the other door. We'll be back outside again. Fight your way down the platform you find yourself on through the feeble Stormtrooper blockade and the reinforcements that appear at the end of the platform. At the far end, jump across the broken bridge to the left and defeat the wave of militia that will emerge from the door ahead.

After clearing them out, make your way left along the path, again dodging TIE Fighter strafes as you go and keep your eyes trained on the right-hand wall. In the second alcove on the right (a group of militia will emerge from here) there is a Jedi Holocron [06/15] (+10,000 Force Points). Continue along the set platform and enter the door on the right at the end of the platform for a checkpoint.

Now that we are back inside, after the first door, turn left and enter a small control room, to find a group of militia waiting to ambush you. Soon after you enter, a large group of Stormtroopers will enter behind you and everyone will be trying to kill everyone. To make things a little easier, grab the Sith Holocron (Damage Increase) from the glass-walled structure in the centre of the room.

To continue, head through the area in the back, right corner of the main room. This will trigger a brief cut scene. When you regain control, use your powers and lightsaber to make short work of the newly arrived militia forces (the explosive cylinders are great for this) before proceeding into another group of similar make-up around the next corner. Dispatch them before proceeding into the next room. Our objectives will update.

Directive: Escape the infuser room containment field

After another cut scene, you will be trapped in a laser shield with numerous bad guys. Clear them all out using a combination of Force Push, Lightsaber swinging and Force Grip – note that tossing enemies into the shield will disintegrate them! Once the enemies are all down, use Starkiller's Force Grip ability on the glowing blue generator on the left side of the room from the entrance to lower the shield.

In the next room, there will be a pair of militia minigunners and some baton wielders. We can kill them in the traditional fashion, but we can also force grip an object and toss it through one of the windows to suck some of the hostiles out into space.

The next room that you arrive in looks identical to the room we just came from with the laser shield earlier. There is a Sith Holocron (Health Drain Aura) on the right side of the room here. Make use of the Sith Holocron to make short work of finishing off the militia here before continuing out of the room using the only other functioning door.

Follow the tunnel to the end, clear out the Stormtroopers blocking the way and enter the door on the right to reach a maintenance area of sorts. There is a glowing object on the left hand wall which is able to be Force Gripped and extended into the room. Jump on top of it and then look up, Use Force Grip to pull down the hatch below the tunnel above. This will form a platform. Double jump up onto the hatch and then from here into the tunnel overhead.

Follow this tunnel to the end and drop down into the next area below.

Directive: Ascend the wing assembly

Once you land in the area below, use Force Push to destroy the door ahead. Inside, there is an AT-ST fighting off a group of militia. Whilst the militia are easy enough to kill, the AT-ST is a little trickier as it is heavily armoured and also has the ability to pick up and throw objects at you (we never saw that in the movies!). To kill this easily, avoid the AT-ST's projectiles and use Starkiller's Force Grip to pick up various objects from around the room and launch them at the mechanical enemy. Once the AT-ST's health has been reduced enough, a series of QTE button prompts will appear at the bottom of the screen. Pres the buttons as they appear successfully to destroy it.

After dealing with the AT-ST, we can grab a pair of nearby Holocrons. To do so, look for the rising columns of TIE fighter wings on the far wall opposite the entry point. Work your way to this location and hop onto one of the left-most TIE fighter wings and use it as a lift. Ride this upwards, past the main platform and to a smaller walkway near the top of the room. Jump to the platform and you'll find a Jedi Holocron [07/15] (+10,000 Force Points) hidden amongst some boxes.

Move to the edge here and jump across to another platform to the left to snaffle Jedi Holocron [08/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

After nabbing both Holocrons, drop down to the catwalk below, clear the militia force and then enter the adjacent room. Follow the path through this area until you reach the next wing assembly. As you enter there will be another group of militia, including emplaced turrets to deal with and after a few moments, a group of Stormtroopers will also enter the area from the left-hand door. Fortunately, just to the right of our entry point is a Sith Holocron (Unlimited Energy) which can help immensely in clearing the area quickly.

Once all of the enemies have been killed, check out the series of TIE Fighter wing assembly stacks at the back of the room. You should see a Jedi Holocron [09/15] (+10,000 Force Points) above you.

Use Starkiller's Force Grip to pick up one of the discarded TIE Fighter wings on the floor and place it on the lowest shelf in the wing lift second from the left. This will create a platform from which we can jump up and grab the Holocron.

Continue to jump up the TIE Fighter wings until you reach the top of the room. From this position, if you look back into the room, you should see Jedi Holocron [10/15] (Power Crystal: Rubat) on a catwalk well above the room. Make your way across the platforms and then jump across to grab it.

Return to the ground floor of the wing assembly and continue through the door from whence the Stormtroopers came. Follow the path around to reach a lift we can use to reach the next area. Kill the Stormtroopers and militia at the base of the lift and then use it. From the top, keep moving until you reach a mechanized assembly area.

This room consists of a pair of two catwalks running the length of the room on either side from the entry point with some manufacturing equipment working on the floor between them. There are several laser welders in the centre of the room, which you'll want to steer clear of and a Sith Holocron (Health Drain Aura) to grab. There are plenty of enemies in here as well, so try clearing them before exploring further (note that you can use the weilding lasers in the centre of the room to disintegrate enemies, fun!).

When the area is clear, look beneath left-hand catwalk (from the initial entry point) and in the first small alcove, you'll find a Jedi Holocron [11/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

At the far end of the room from the entrance, there is a laser gate. Head up the ramp to the left just before the gate to find a second laser gate ahead. Clear out the militia forces before using Starkiller's Force Grip ability on a generator located just behind the second laser gate to disable them both. From the second laser gate, turn around to find some glowing blue pillars. In and around the right-hand set of these you will find a Jedi Holocron [12/15] (Force Power Sphere).

There are also two alcoves located to either end of where the second laser shield was active. Whilst facing where the generator was, look in the alcove to the right to find another Jedi Holocron [13/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

Return to the main room and head through the now opened laser gate. This next mechanized assembly area is much the same as the first – avoid the welding lasers, eliminate the large group of militia and make use of the Sith Holocron (Damage Increase) on the main floor if required.

When the area is vacant of hostiles, from the entry point, look along the right-hand wall between the welding equipment to find a small alcove beneath the catwalk. Inside you will find a Jedi Holocron [14/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

Before climbing the ramp at the far end to leave this room, turn right just before the exit to locate the final Jedi Holocron [15/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

To continue, exit the room via the ramp.

Directive: Disable the assembly line containment field

Follow the tunnel to the end and then use the elevator that you come across to ride upwards and onwards to a boss fight.

Boss Battle: General Kota

General Kota is a tough fight – he has a lot of health and numerous damaging abilities that can inflict huge amounts of damage in a short amount of time. He favors picking up and throwing things at you via Force Push from a distance and if you get in close, he can unleash a flurry of Lightsaber melee attacks and combos. In occasion to throwing random bits and pieces at you (and his Lightsaber occasionally) he will often port up to the platform above the entrance, put up a green shield and launch a series of projectiles in your direction. His most dangerous move however is a slam attack – he'll produce that glowing green shield again before jumping and slamming his Lightsaber into the ground and generating a far reaching and damaging shockwave that will knock you back and damage you if you are too close to it.

When fighting Kota it's a good idea to avoid him in general. He'll be able to block most of your attacks whilst in open combat (although you can get a lucky shot in sometimes), but often will not block anything for a few seconds after unleashing one of his green shield attacks (throwing things or slamming the ground). This opens him up to blasts of Force Push or tosses with Force Grip. If you can knock him down, quickly run up to him and use your Lightsaber on him whilst he is off his feet for massive damage. As this is the case, do your best to avoid his attacks, lure him into using one of his big moves and then exploit the opening in his guard immediately afterwards.

Around halfway through the fight a scene will play and the platform you are fighting on will begin to fall. After a while, the floor itself will start glowing and at this point it will damage you if you step on it – as this is the case, you'll want to stay on the small bits of debris and raised platforms wherever possible as you fight him.

Keep up the same general tactics during this portion of the battle as described above and once his health is reduced sufficiently, a series of button prompts will appear. Press them in the correct order to complete the fight.

Defeating General Kota will also complete the mission.

Note: At this point, you'll unlock the Achievement/Trophy ‘Insurrection'.

Mission 02: Raxus Prime

Optional Objective/s:
Destroy 10 Scavenger Skiffs.
Earn 250,000 Force Points.
Find all 15 Holocrons.

Directive: Blast your way into the giant hyperdrive engine

This starting zone requires us to explore the immediate area and find and blast three turbines to open up a path to the next area. From the start location, we'll want to make our way forward and blast the nearby Turbine [01/03] with Starkiller's Force Lightning. Afterwards, drop down to the platform below and follow it to the left.

At the end of this platform, you should see Jedi Holocron [01/15] (+10,000 Force Points) across from you. To get it, use Force Grip to lift the circular platform on the ground in front of you and use it as a platform to jump across to the Holocron.

Return to the circular platform we raised (do so again if required) and this time, hop up onto the ledge above the Holocron. Here we'll bump into our first Rodians – they are essentially the same fodder-type enemy as the Stormtroopers and militia, so shouldn't put up much of a fight. There is another Turbine [02/03] on this platform so make sure you once again hit it with some Force Lightning.

Note that from here on out during the level, the game will also see fit to introduce you to the Scavenger Skiffs, these are small dropships that will fly into an area and drop off several standard Rodian enemies. If you can hit one of these skiffs with a bit of Force Lightning you can destroy them. Destroying 10 of these is a requirement for completing the mission's optional bonus objective.

From the center of this platform, look into the death fluid and use Force Grip to raise another sunken platform. Jump to this and then across to another pillar standing out of the caustic bath below. Whilst standing on the pillar, use Force Grip to lift up another platform, jump to this and whilst ignoring the Scavenger Skiff dropping off more Rodians ahead, use Force Push to blow down the twisted metal in the way. Jump through the twisted metal to reach another platform.

As you land, pick up the Sith Holocron (Invincibility) here and then kill the immediate enemies, use Force Lightning on the Skiff and then continue across to the far ledge. Hit the final Turbine [03/03] here with Force Lightning to open a path to the next area. Make your way to where the turbines blew a hole in the wall. Another Skiff should appear soon afterwards, Force Lightning this as well to add to your total before proceeding inside.

Note: If Achievements/Trophies there is an Achievement/Trophy ‘Bully' awarded for killing 25 Jawas or Ugnaughts (we'll see the latter later on). The little robed scavenger creatures are Jawas and there are a lot across the junkyard, so kill as many as you can to work towards unlocking it.

Once inside, follow the path all the way to the right, killing the Jawas as you go. At the end of the passage, we need to jump from platform to platform to reach the exit above.

When you arrive at the top, don't exit the room just yet! Instead, with the exit to your back, look down and to the left to see platform below (the opposite side from where we jumped up). Jump down to this platform and climb up to the next level using the ramp made of pipes. From here, jump to the ledge circling the pillar in the centre of the room. As you follow it around, you should see a Jedi Holocron [02/15] (Force Power Sphere) guarded by two Jawas. Double jump and lunge across the gap and pick it up. Then drop back down to the exit and go out the door.

Continue along the narrow passage here, killing a pair of Rodians as you move forward and use Force Push to destroy the debris blocking the path at the end.

Drop down into the open area below and wipe out the Rodians and Jawas below. When you are done, head for the back of the area and then jump across the gap at the end. You should see a walkway with yellow death juice dripping onto it. Before you jump over, use Starkiller's Force Grip to bend the three giant metal pieces either side of the path downwards to create a safe passage beneath the death fluid.

Directive: Find a way through the crashed starship

Continue over the platform and into the passage. Follow this until it opens up into a larger area below. Before dropping down, at the top of the ledge to the left is a Jedi Holocron [03/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

Grab the Sith Holocron (Unlimited Energy) from the right-hand side of the ledge, before jumping down and joining the raging battle below.

Here we'll encounter our first Scrap Guardians. They are tall, bipedal robots equipped with polearms. They can occasionally shoot rockets at you from a distance, hit you with a flurry of melee attacks and have the annoying ability to sink into the ground and emerge close to you. They are particularly susceptible to Force Lightning as it will immediately stun them, allowing you to follow up with attacks of your own. Try to eliminate the ranges Scrap Guardians first so that you can focus on the melee variety without having to deal with extra distractions. They will continue to spawn for a few minutes, so keep plugging away until they all drop.

After all the enemies have been defeated, investigate a large circular structure close to the cliff and destroy the wall here with Force Push to find Jedi Holocron [04/15] (Compressed Red Light Sabre Crystal) hidden inside.

Head to the back of the area and lift the glowing blue platform using Force Grip. Jump up and then lunge across to the dome on the roof. Destroy this and then drop down inside. Clear the room of the small group of Rodians and then locate, and drop down another hole on the other side of the room.

Again, we'll need to clear the room of a small group of Scarp Guardians, some Rodians, and a Scavenger Skiff. When the area is clear of bad guys walk over to the cliff opposite the entrance and follow the edge of the cliff around to the right to collect another Jedi Holocron [05/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

Return to the main area and facing the door we came from, climb the scrap heap to the right of the entrance. Destroy the circular wall here with a solid Force Push. Proceed inside.

Follow this tunnel to the very end killing all of the Jawas as you go. When you reach the end, use Force Push to destroy the closed door in front of you to locate a Jedi Holocron [06/15] (+10,000 Force Points) behind it.

Now jump up into the tunnel located above the Holocron door. Follow the tunnel to the end for a checkpoint.

Directive: Destroy the Scavenger Camp's shield generators.

In the ruined control room at the end of the tunnel, drop down via the hole beneath the window. We'll need to cross the bridges ahead whilst taking out Rodians – try to use Force Grip to toss objects at the turret gunners to make things a little easier on yourself. Run up and across the makeshift bridges and at the end, use Force Grip to open the big gate and then enter into the scavenger camp.

After the short cut-scene, jump down and turn to the right, you should see a Jedi Holocron [07/15] (Force Combo Sphere) head over and grab this.

Now kill anything that gets in your way (lots of Rodians) as you head for the hole in the wall on the far right of the room that the cut scene showed us to reach an elevator.

Use the elevator to descend to a lower section of the adjacent building and follow the tunnel at the bottom through to another, smaller open area with a shield generator at its centre. The room is inhabited by a number of Jawas and Rodians. Clear them out and make tracks to the electrical equipment in the distance. A Scavenger Skiff will drop off some Rodians on the platform behind this (so blow it out of the sky if you are going for that bonus objective!). When the area is clear, use Starkiller's Force Grip to pull the switch on the floor in front of the generator all the way to the left to trigger a cut-scene.

Following the scene, drop down the small gap behind the generator for another Jedi Holocron [08/15] (Force Talent Sphere).

Head back to the tunnel exit we came from and explore the area just to the left of this. You should be able to spot Jedi Holocron [09/15] (Compressed Yellow Lightsaber Crystal) up on top of a makeshift scrap shelter.

Use the ledges beside the tunnel entrance to reach it. Return back through the tunnel and up the lift to the Scavenger Camp.

Even if you killed everything here previously, most of the bad guys will have returned. There is a large number of Rodians and Jawas here to contend with, so kill them for good this time – if needed, there is a Sith Holocron (Damage Increase) inside the large building in the middle of the area to make things a little easier.

Before entering the next area, look to your left to see a Jedi Holocron [10/15] (Gold Lightsaber Crystal) on a platform overlooking a cliff. Grab it and continue on through the passage behind the now lowered shield and drop down at the end.

Follow the tunnel to the end and you'll encounter a new enemy – Scrap Drones. These flying enemies are quite weak, but will often attack in numbers and have the ability to absorb and drain your force power meter. They will also explode when killed, so steer clear of them! After killing the initial pair of Scrap Drones, drop down into the room below.

Directive: Find a way to cross the junk chasm

Jump down into the room and follow the raised platform on the left to reach the glowing turbine at the end of the path. Don't hit this just yet and instead, let any enemies in the room come to you so that you can kill them all. When it is clear, use Starkiller's Force Lightning ability to activate the turbine. Once you have done so, head back towards the entrance and a new mini-boss enemy – a Junk Titan will appear. We'll need to jump down and fight it.

The Junk Titans have a number of damaging attacks which include throwing various heavy objects at you with great accuracy, swinging their arms around in circles about their body, stomping their feet in quick succession if you get too close and punching the ground to make the ground erupt beneath your feet. They are susceptible to thrown objects (which are scattered liberally around this area) but by far the easiest strategy to deal with them is to get up close and use Force Lightning – this will stun Junk Titans temporarily, enabling you to attack with your lightsaber until it recovers. We can simply rinse and repeat this strategy until he falls.

After the Junk Titan is no more, jump up to the ledge on the opposite side of the room from the activated machinery. Here you'll find a Jedi Holocron 11 (+10,000 Force Points).

Continue up the junk platforms until you reach the opposite side of the chasm from the machinery. Use Force Grip on the metal it is burning, and it will fall below to make a bridge. Jump down and proceed along the new path to continue.

Directive: Infiltrate the Junk Temple and defeat Kazdan Paratus

Continue along the bridge and destroy the group of teleporting Junk Guardians who will appear on the platforms ahead. When the area is clear, hop across to the left-hand platform and walk as far as you can to the end. Turn to the right to see a large piece of metal hanging from the wall opposite. Force Grip the metal and bend it downwards to create a platform. Jump up to the new platform before performing a lunge jump across to the platform ahead.

Once across, jump up to the first ledge and immediately look to your left. You'll be able to see several twisted metal bars here and a Holocron behind them. Use Starkiller's Force Push to remove them. Doing so will reveal some additional metal pieces, but these are somewhat more flexible. Use Force Grip on these metal structures to bend them all down before making your way across them to nab Jedi Holocron [12/15] (Sith Robes).

Return to the main passage and follow the set path along to the right. Kill all of the Scrap Guardians and Scrap Drones that get in the way (remember to prioritize the Drones!). At the end of the tunnel, drop down into the open area below.

Here we'll need to face off against another Junk Titan – remember to use Force Lightning to chain stun the mini-boss whilst throwing in your other attacks to make things easier. Once the Junk Titan has been dismantled, open the large doors behind it with a blast of Force Push to continue.

The next room is devoid of enemy presence, but it does, however, contain three Jedi Holocrons to grab to complete our collection. The first Jedi Holocron [13/15] (+10,000 force points) is located just on the left as you enter the room.

To reach the other two Holocrons, Use Force Grip to lift up the AT-ST remains and place them at the centre of the room. Climb on top of the AT-ST debris and double jump from the top to a platform above for Jedi Holocron [14/15] (+10,000 Force Points). From the platform with Holocron 14, jump and grab Jedi Holocron [15/15] (Power Crystal: Firkrann) which is floating between the two catwalks.

When you are ready to continue, walk into the elevator at the back of the room to confront the mission's boss - Kazdan Paratus.

Boss Battle: Kazdan Paratus

Kazdan Paratus is a difficult battle (perhaps the hardest in the game on Sith Master difficulty) and it takes place against a smaller opponent with spider-like legs which give him extremely fast and unusual maneuverability. He is immune to most Force attacks, but can usually be hit and stunned briefly by Force Lightning, and Force Push can occasionally trigger a force lock battle. The boss has many melee attacks, many of which he'll incorporate into lengthy, damaging combos usually ending in a deadly helicopter spin or an overhead slam. You'll need to block or dash away from these to avoid damage.

Kazdan Paratus will also climb up onto pillars around the outside of the arena and use Force Grip to throw objects at you 5-6 at a time. We'll need to dash to avoid taking damage. He'll jump back down when he has thrown enough.

At two different times during the fight, when he is at approximately 80% health and 10% health, the boss will climb one of the walls and summon a Junk Titan to attack you. We'll need to kill this in order to resume the boss battle. Remember that we can stunlock the Titans using constant pulses of Force Lightning with a Lightsaber hit or two between them.

Fight the boss at ground level wherever you can and use Force Lightning to stun him. When he is stunned, use Force Grip to toss him into the ground or one of the pillars for a great amount of damage. This is the easiest way to beat him, so try to do as much damage as possible to limit the number of times that he climbs the walls and tosses debris at you. This is because the camera is a little annoying during this fight and dodging can therefore prove difficult. Once you have reduced his health sufficiently, a QTE series of button prompts will appear. Complete them to end the fight.

Once the fight has concluded, the mission will be completed.

Note: At this point, you'll unlock the Achievement/Trophy ‘Junkyard'.

Mission 03: Felucia

Optional Objective/s:
Kill 4 Rancors.
Earn 375,000 Force Points.
Find all 15 Holocrons.

Directive: Fight your way through the mushroom ascent

From the beginning, we'll need to walk down off the starting mushroom and follow the set path. As you proceed, keep an eye on the right-hand wall to locate a small opening to find a Jedi Holocron [01/15] (+10,000 force Points) within.

Continue to follow the path and fight off all the Felucians that cross your path. Felucians are essentially the standard fodder enemy for this level and much like the Rodians and Stormtroopers they'll come in several different flavors both equipped with melee weapons and ranged weaponry. They are weak however so should prove relatively easy to beat down. Continue down the set path as you make your way through the tunnel leading to a hollow mushroom tower. As you arrive, a scene will play.

Following the quick scene, we'll be back in control. Our ultimate goal is to reach the opening near the top of the room that the cut-scene showed us but we'll need to make our way through quite a few enemies in order to do so. In addition to a significant force of Felucains, you'll also encounter spiked Felucian Slugs and some hostile plants - Yerdua Venom Spitters which will shoot projectiles at you from a distance.

From the start location, move up to the edge and drop down to the ledge below to find a Jedi Holocron [02/15] (+10,000 Force points).

Return to the entrance and then follow the central edge of the platform around until you reach a ramp heading upwards. Climb the ramp and head left, around to the far end of the platform for another Jedi Holocron [03/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

Backtrack to the area above the ramp with the Sith Holocron (Damage Increase) on it and drop down.

We'll now want to climb to the top of this ramp and turn right. Hug the edge of the platform again and move along it until you reach another ramp. Before using this, take the opportunity to look to your right to see a Jedi Holocron [04/15] (+10,000 Force Points) on a small platform we can jump to.

Return to the ramp and this time around work your way up it. Make a left turn at the top and follow the path around, past the Sith Holocron (Health Drain Aura) until you can see a series of hanging platforms in close proximity on the right. Jump onto the lower one and make your way around to the top one for another Jedi Holocron [05/15] (Unstable Red Lightsaber Crystal).

Return to the platform and continue through to the exit.

Directive: Make your way to the Ancient Abyss

Exit the tunnel to reach a much more open area.

At this point, you'll find a new element in play for the Felucian foes - from here on out, if the Felucians start to glow red, it means that they'll regain health back pretty quickly and to stop this buff, you'll be required to find and kill the Felucian Shaman nearby first in order to kill them. The Shaman is usually a chap dressed in red as opposed to the regular Felucian blue attire – getting close to them will have them teleport away, so you'll want to try and hit them from a distance if possible to avoid the frustration of chasing them around everywhere. Keep on following the path forward and clear out all of the Felucian presence. Additionally, from here on out you'll want to watch out for pulsating, circular sections of ground – these represent volatile plants which will explode if stepped upon, so keep an eye out for them and steer clear.

Once the area is clear, return to the exit from the tunnel and with your back to it, turn to the right and follow the wall to find a Jedi Holocron [06/15] (+10,000 force Points).

Return to the tunnel exit once again and this time, head to the left. In the open area here, kill all the Felucians and the Venom Spitters (the nasty flowers) here. Once it is safe to do so, look for what appears to be a large glowing yellow tooth close to the Sith Holocron (Unlimited Energy). Lift the tooth-shaped object with the Force Grip and beneath it, you will find a Jedi Holocron [07/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

In the same area, look for a small path flanked by giant blue mushrooms just along the wall to the left of the exit. Follow this to the end for another Jedi Holocron [08/15] (Compressed Gold Lightsaber Crystal). Exit the area.

In the tunnel to the next area, dispatch all of the Felucian forces here before looking for and grabbing the Jedi Holocron [09/15] (Force Combo Sphere) which can be found sitting in a tree in the centre of the path.

At the far end of the cave, you'll reach a narrow bridge inhabited by a group of standard Felucians with a Shaman and a new enemy – a Felucian Chieftain (essentially, a larger more yellow version of the standard enemies with a polearm and shield who can dish out extra damage). Cross the bridge, being sure to fight the enemies in the centre or on one side as to not fall off yourself, and at the far end of the bridge jump down to the next area.

At this point, we'll get to encounter our first Rancor. Despite looking scary, the Rancors act in essentially the same way as either of the other two mini-boss type enemies we've fought so far – the AT-ST and the Junk Titan. Rancors have the ability to pick up stuff and hurl it at you and will stomp on the ground to inflict damage on you if Starkiller ventures too close. Rancors are much more mobile than the other mini-boss types, will move around the area much faster and can also perform a lunging charge attack you. Avoiding this is obviously beneficial to maintaining health! Fortunately, much like the other mini-boss types Rancors are susceptible to being stunned by Force Lightning. As such, utilizing a combination of Force Lightning and double-jump melee attacks will have it down in no time. This first Rancor encounter will also have us fighting against some Felucians as well, so to make things a little easier for yourself, grab the Sith Holocron (Damage Increase) from the debris in the centre of the area and clear as many as the Felucians as you can before focusing on the Rancor.

After killing the Rancor, eliminate any remaining Felucian enemies before returning to the spot where we landed upon dropping into the room earlier. From this location, follow the wall to the left to find a Jedi Holocron [10/15] (+10,000 Force points) hanging in the air.

Follow the main path leading away from the Rancor fight area. Make your way through the large group of Felucian forces here, and ignore them at first until you reach the mouth to the next tunnel where you'll find the Shaman that is powering them up. Kill him, then focus on eliminating the Chieftain, Venom Spitters and standard Felucians in the area using any means at your disposal. Feel free to grab the Sith Holocron (Unlimited Energy) by the Shaman's initial position to help you along the way.

Continue into the next large tunnel beyond the Felucians leading to the next area. Inside is another Shaman and small group of Felucians and a collectible too! Much like Jedi Holocron 09 earlier, the next Jedi Holocron [11/15] (+10,000 Force Points) can be found sitting in the middle section of this tunnel, this time beneath a tree.

Exit the tunnel into a large cave populated by quite a large number of Felucians forces backed up by not one but three Rancors, no doubt thrown in for good measure. As you enter the room look up on a ledge to the right for Jedi Holocron [12/15] (+10,000 Force Points).

Continue to move along this ledge and jumping between the side platforms until you reach another Jedi Holocron [13/15] (Force Talent Sphere).

From the platform with Holocron 13, Jump down and kill the Felucian Shaman below to prevent the Rancors and regular Felucians in the area from becoming regenerative. Afterwards, you'll want to try and use your abilities to take out the Felucians whilst being careful to note (and avoid in general) the Rancors. Once most of the Felucians have been dealt with, and you feel it safe to do so approach and take the Rancors down one at a time. Whilst methodically beating down the Rancors, be sure to stop and eliminate the Felucians again if a new wave appears so that you can take on the larger enemies without distraction.

After clearing the zone of enemies, we can find a few more goodies. If you make your way to the left side of the cave (from the initial entry point) you should be able to see a Jedi Holocron [14/15] (Force Power Sphere) on a small, raised platform along the edges of the room.

We can also check out the second of the two large central pillars in the room – Jedi Holocron [15/15] (+10,000 Force Points) is on the ledge surrounding this.

When you are ready to continue, head through the exit provided to encounter the area's boss fight – the Jedi, Shaak Ti.

Boss Battle: Shaak Ti

Compared to the previous boss encounters, Shaak Ti is not incredibly difficult. She has the standard lightsaber attacks if you get in close and will use a few Force powers as well. Each time she uses a Force power she will glow red, tipping you off about it – she can use blasts of Force Push, will charge up and launch a red energy projectile, can stab the ground and cause a rupture in a designated line across the ground and will perform a very dangerous charging dash melee attack from a distance.

In addition to the boss, Shaak Ti will also regularly summon groups of standard Felucian warriors to aid her which can frustrate proceedings as you'll need to try and eliminate them so as to focus on the boss without distraction. The arena in which you fight Shaak Ti is also littered with those pulsating, explosive plants which will knock you down and damage you if you step on one (although they'll do the same to the boss if you can get her to walk into one).

The good news about Shaak Ti is that she is particularly susceptible to Force Repulse and when you hit her with it, it will send her sprawling – simply run up and stab her a couple of times whilst she is on the ground to inflict massive damage. Repeat the Force Repulse and ground stab tactic until Shaak Ti hits around 30% health and a scene plays.

When you regain control, you'll again be facing off against Shaak Ti, with some Felucians but in a much smaller area this time. During this final stage of the battle, Shaak Ti will also jump into the air and disappear briefly, before taking control of the tentacle monster in the abyss nearby which she'll compel to drop said tentacles all over the fight area in an attempt to crush you. Avoid the tentacles until she re-appears.

Tentacles aside, the second phase is much the same as the first. Shaak Ti will still go down quickly when Force Repulsed and you can stab her whilst she's down to stack up the damage. Once she has sustained sufficient damage, a QTE button press sequence will appear at the base of the screen. Successfully complete the button presses to end the fight.

Once the fight has concluded, the mission will be completed.
