Can I change my 'class' once it select it at the beginning of the game?
I am a 'strider' and want to know if i can be a 'warrior' or 'wizard' later if I want to experience those play styles. xanivus - 9 years ago

Yes, you can.
From the 3 starter classes, you will gain not only the most basic skills, and great core skills, but mainly the Augments, which are passive skills that are always in effect, even when you change vocations.
Starter classes require 1,000 DP (Discipline Points) to unlock. Advanced Classes (Hybrid) require 1,500 DPs. After you buy one or many, you can switch from one to another for free (only the ones you bought).
As Hybrid Classes are, lol, hybrid, the skills you had will carry over, even the upgraded ones, this wont work only with some final unique skills, to each vocation. That said, after you get rank 9 in a starter vocation, you'll be strong enough not to suffer from lack of skills, as you'll have them at your disposal from starter classes.
Its awesome using Augments from Mage/Sorcerer in a Mystick Knight. weslleyend - 9 years ago
Yes you can at any point after you reach the main city you talk to the inn keeper and select vocation. There are 6 other classes besides the 3 starters. They are either combinations of classes or advanced versions of the first ones. kevinr99 - 9 years ago
The unlock condition for the Advanced and Hybrid Vocations is to gain character level 10. Also it's worth noting that once a vocation has been 'purchased', you can switch to it, via the innkeeper, without additional cost. sol_kahn08 - 9 years ago
I got the same question, when i play, i choose the Mage... but the game is quite harder... so i do the main quests and in the mission that you talk to the inn keeper, you already can choose your class... you just need 1500dpc to switch. hope i help you =) AnDjinn - 9 years ago
Once you hit Level 10 and make it to Gran Soren you can change it. Find the inn and select Change Vocation.
Unfortunately, there's only one place in the game that you can change your vocation/ class in the game. Damiand77 - 8 years ago
You also need about 1000 to 1500dpc to switch, and I believe your current Vocation needs to be a certain level to unlock the others. SharkMe - 9 years ago
Yes you can switch your class/vocation once you reach Gran Soren. Try to max out every vocation before you switch so that you can get the augments that carry over to other vocations. For example: The strider has similar equipment to three other vocations that can use a bow and daggers. If you max out the vocation you can use some of the Skills you take to some of the others so it's pretty cool. CactusJack444 - 9 years ago
