When should I play the DLC?

  1. What are the ideal stages and/or levels to undertake each one of the DLCs in order to enjoy it at the appropriate level?

    I know they integrate with the game in different ways, so I don't want to do one of them, just to completely out-level the others.

  2. How about a better answer? general knoxx give you a higher level cap so the sooner you do it the more gameplay you will be able to enjoy at a higher level.

    simply installing general knoxx will raise your cap. you can never set foot there and still reach lvl 61.

    So listen to Th3Freak55. Ingore eric5683, his answer is in no way better, and in fact worse. his way will have you as a lower level in a tougher setting, and make jakobs cove that much more easy being overpowered. sure, the enemies "scale" to your level for them, but 95% of the zombie enemies are a joke, while lance soldiers can be a bit difficult if they want to be douchey and hide behind their turrets.
