  • This isn't the first game that had Daniel Craig play himself as James Bond. The first one was 007: Quantum of Solace, in 2008. The last game with his voice acting was 007: Blood Stone, coincidentally released the same day as the remake of GoldenEye 007.

Connection to Other Media

  • The online multiplayer accolade "I Expect You To Die!" is a reference to the 1964 James Bond film Goldfinger, to a scene in which 007 was scraped to a table by Goldfinger with a laser about to cut him in half, with 007 asking: "Do you expect me to talk?". Goldfinger then replied: "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!"
