Introduction

If you've ever dreamt of flying through a dream world, NiGHTS is the only game
which lets you do just that. It's a magical game for those who like creativity
and will not be stopped by the game's lack of sense. It's up to you to
interprete the experience as you feel it. It's one of those games you can't
really explain until you try it out for yourself. Althrough Journey of Dreams
lacks some of the charm and mesmerization NiGHTS into Dreams had, it's still a
seizing adventure that you ought to grasp.

Game Basics

The Goal ~~

In Journey of Dreams, the goal differs slightly from NiGHTS Into Dream. Whereas
in the latter you had to collect Blue Chips to complete the missions, now the
goal is to catch the three Guardians. Once you catch one, you'll receive a Key
that you must bring to the Capture Point. There are three Capture Points in
each level. The mission is completed once you get all three. Other missions
were added to Journey of Dreams, which are explained in the Walkthrough.

The Screen ~~

1: The top left corner shows how many Blue Chips you have collected in a
level.
2: The middle counter indicates how much time is remaining to complete a
mission.
3: The top right corner shows the score totals for the level.
4: The bottom right map indicates your current position.
5: The bottom left meter shows the boost power you have accumulated.

The Scores ~~

In the game, you'll get ranked from E to A after completing each level. There
are various ways to make points, but the best is to work on holding your Links
as long as possible. Links are created by collecting Blue Chips or passing
through Rings in succession within one second of each other. You can hold the
Link as long as you keep on collecting Ble Chips or going through Rings. As
long as the Link keeps going, the points you earn are doubled, tripled and so
on (max X10). If the Link is interrupted, half of the points you made will be
added to your score, and you'll need to start a new Link over. The longest the
Link, the more points you earn. For bosses, you'll score higher the faster you
defeat the boss.

The Moves ~~

Paraloop
By flying in circles, you can create Paraloops. Paraloops will suck in anything
within the circle and send it to another dimension by distorting space. Blue
Chips that are sucked in will be added to your score, while Nightopians and
enemies will be sent to My Dream. You can use the Paraloop to get rid of
enemies in your way or attract a large portion of Blue Chips.

Drill Dash
By pressing the Dash button, you will perform a dash that will boost your speed
for a few seconds. By holding the Dash button, you can perform a Drill Dash,
which lets you use the boost power for as long as you're holding the Dash. The
Drill Dash can be used to break through objects, smash enemies in the way or
catch Guardians.

Touch-Dash
If NiGHTS touches an enemy or object, the enemy or object will be grabbed by
NiGHTS. While grabbing an enemy or object, you can perform a Drill Dash to send
the object or enemy flying in the direction NiGHTS is facing. This can be
useful especially for bosses.

Touch-Loop
Some enemies or objects that you touch might keep NiGHTS attached to them. If
you do not perform the Drill Dash, NiGHTS will circle around it and perform a
Paraloop after a full turn. This acts the same as a Paraloop and enemies will
be teleported to My Dream.

The Personas ~~

The Persona masks are new to Journey of Dreams. They can help you get better
scores and collect some Dream Drops. They're necessary to the final boss fight.

Dolphin
You'll get the Dolphin Persona after defeating the first boss. Dolphin NiGHTS
can swim underwater. This Persona is automatic when you enter in contact with
water.

Rocket
You'll get the Rocket Persona after defeating the second boss. Rocket NiGHTS
can fly much more faster, and even faster while using the Drill Dash. It can
break through certain objects and will smash enemies on the way.

Dragon
You'll get the Dragon Persona after defeating the third boss. Dragon NiGHTS can
fly through wind without getting blown away and flies faster when using the
Drill Dash.

The Items ~~

Items

Blue Chip
A crystal made out of Ideya that can be found around Nightopia. Obtaining one
will add points to your score, but getting them in successive Links will score
higher.

Ring
Go through a Ring and NiGHTS will recover a little Dash Power. There are also
Double Rings, which appear like two half-Rings joined together.

Green Ring
A special Ring that doesn't disappear no matter how many times you go through
it, unlike normal Rings, which disappear after you go through once.

Spike Ring
A fake Ring with spiked metallic balls that will damage NiGHTS, unless you go
through with a Drill Dash.

Dash Ball
Touch it and it will blow you away in a given direction.

Switch
A ball-shaped switch. Touch it and something will happen...

Red Chest
A red chest that contains Blue Chips. Hit it to release its content. Darker
chests contain more.

Blue Chest
A blue chest that contains a special item. You will receive one after each
world is completed.

Dreamdrop
A mysterious waterdrop found throughout the Night Dimension. The collected
Dreamdrps are gathered at the Dream Gate fountain. Something might happen if
you collect 60 of these...

Time Chip
It can rewind time, delaying the arrival of the Awakers. There are two types:
one rewinds 1/4 of the time, and the other resets to zero.
Power Panels

Long Dust
The trail of Twinkle Dust becomes longer for a given time, allowing you to draw
a Paraloop larger than usual.

Dash Power
Restores your Dash Power fully.

Nightopians
Nightopians appear to collect Blue Chips for you for a short period of time.

Time Stop
At the instant you obtain it, time in Nightopia stops for a few seconds.

Walkthrough

As you step into Nightopia for the very first time, Owl will welcome you to the
Dream Gate and show you the basics of flying. After the practice, enter the
first door. You'll need to complete all the missions within a world to access
the next. You can start as either Will or Helen, the premise of the game will
be the same, but the levels will differ.

~~ Will's Dream ~~

Pure Valley

1st Mission : Chase

This is a standard flight mission. Climb up the chain with Will to get into the
cage and dualize with NiGHTS. Fly over to the right, going through Rings on the
way. The Rings will fill up your boost meter. Use the boost to speed up and
catch up to the guardian. Blue Chips can also be collected for boost, with
Paraloops. It's very important to use the boosts often so you catch the
guardian. Once you catch him, press the boost button to grab the Key. Now that
you have it, hurry back to the cage (left or right, the closest possible)
before the timer hits zero. You'll need to repeat this process three times with
two other keys to get. After this is done, you'll face the first boss; Donbalon
(see 5th mission below). If you fail the boss, you'll have to start the whole
level over, so be careful.

2nd Mission : Link Challenge

In this mission, you must follow the Octopaw and go through the trail of rings
he leaves behind. You need to succeesfully do a Link of 30 consecutive Rings to
complete the mission. Collecting Blue Chips work too, so make sure to collect
some in-between the trails of Rings. Use the Boost as much as possible so you
don't loose any time. If too much time passes between each Ring you go through,
the Link will stop and start over.

3rd Mission : Fluffy Catch

Here you must quickly find the Nightopians and use Paraloops to save them
before they get sucked in by the dark clouds. You can trap several at the same
time with larger Paraloops. Keep an eye on the counter in the lower right
corner of the screen; it will show you many misses you have left. Everytime a
Nightopian gets sucked in, you loose one. When no more remain, you fail. Also,
make use of the radar at the bottom of the screen to see where the next
Nightopians are. Save the ones near the top first, then proceed down. You'll
need to have saved enough when the timer reaches zero to complete the mission
(in clear, all you need to do is hold until the timer hits zero.

4th Mission : River Rescue

To complete this mission, you must rescue as many Nightopians as possible out
of the 50 drowning in the river. NiGHTS will transform into a boat and allow
you to ride it. Press the stick forward to speed up, or press it downward to
slow down. Move left or right to collect the Nightopians along the way. I found
it a lot easier to do this mission using the Gamecube controller. To succeed
the mission you'll need to reach the end of the course before the timer hits
zero. Speed a lot to get there in time but don't miss too many Nightopians on
the way.

5th Mission : vs. Donbalon

To defeat Donbalon, you'll need to use the Touch-Dash to push him upwards to
the top of the tower. Donbalon will bounce back down if he hits a wall or
obstacle, so it's very important to aim right. The Drill Dash can also be used
but only in straight line with no obstacles. Take your time and don't rush
through things. Grab Donbalon, launch him forward and be ready to catch him
back if he hits an obstacle. If the path is clear, keep pressing the boost
button while lifting him up. Once you reach the top of the tower, you'll get
him.

Lost Park

You'll need to repeat this process three times with
two other  keys to  get. After  this  is done,  you'll  face the  second  boss;
Chamelan (see 5th mission below). If you fail the boss, you'll have to start
the whole level over, so be careful.

2nd Mission : Bomb Panic

To complete this mission, you must destroy 50 of the bombs that are thrown into
the lake. Swim around the area, passing through Rings on the way to gather
boost power. Use the boost to dash into the chains holding the bombs. Watch out
not to get in touch with the bombs directly. Keep going until you destroy 50
chains.

3rd Mission : Link Challenge

In this mission, you must follow the Octopaw and go through the trail of rings
he leaves behind. You need to succeesfully do a Link of 30 consecutive Rings to
complete the mission. Collecting Blue Chips work too, so make sure to collect
some in-between the trails of Rings. Use the Boost as much as possible so you
don't loose any time. If too much time passes between each Ring you go through,
the Link will stop and start over.

4th Mission : Coaster Rescue

To succeed this mission, you must catch up to the Nightopian's coaster before
time runs out. To do so, you'll have to make a constant use of the dash. Move
the control stick up, down, left and right, or a combinaision of all four, to
move out of the way of obstacles, and to pass through as many Rings as you can.
If you hit an obstacle, you'll slow down, so be on the lookout. Keep using
boosts from the Rings until you catch the Nightopian's coaster.

5th Mission : vs. Chamelan

To defeat Chamelan, first fly around until you find cards trying to attack you
and start doing Paraloops around this area until you reveal more cards that are
hiding in the background (ovals work better than circles here, to reveal larger
areas). You'll find solid cards that you can't see through, and transparents
cards (or look for a blue glowing circle moving around that will lead you to
it) and do some more Paraloops above the transparent card. You should find a
row of cards in order, from King to 2. The card next to 2 should be the Ace.
Paraloop around the Ace to reveal more Aces, that should be forming a circle.
Paralooping in the center of this circle should reveal Chamelan. Do a Paraloop
to suck him in and he'll be defeated. If you follow a trail of cards that is
not transparent, usually it will lead you to a bomb instead, so make sure you
get the transparent cards. The best way is to not loose track of Chamelan right
from the start. Paraloop as soon as the fight starts and you should see him run
away. Follow his shadow that you can still see through the background and wait
for the cards to stop moving. This means Chamelan stopped too. When he's
stopped, do more Paraloops around this area to have better chances of finding
him.

Delight City

Before starting the first mission, NiGHTS will have to confront Reala. To
defeat him, you'll need to catch one of these huge meteor balls and throw them
back at Reala. It can be hard to aim at Reala because he constantly moves or
throws one back at you, but that's really all there is to it. Wait for an
opening, grab a ball (it can be one that's sent at you - just catch it back),
throw it at Reala while he's standing still, and that's it. You'll need to hit
him three times to defeat him.

1st Mission : Chase

Standard flight mission. Walk forward and climb up the chain with Will to get
into the cage and dualize with NiGHTS. Fly over to the right, going through
Rings on the way. The Rings will fill up your boost meter. Use the boost to
speed up and catch up to the guardian. Blue Chips can also be collected for
boost, with Paraloops. It's very important to use the boosts often so you catch
the guardian. Once you catch him, press the boost button to grab the Key. Now
that you have it, hurry back to the cage (left or right, the closest possible)
before the timer hits zero. You'll need to repeat this process three times with
two other keys to get. When you get to the pool table, find the glowing 9 ball
and touch-dash it into one of the holes to make a railing appear so you can
continue. After this is done, you'll face the third boss; Cerberus (see 5th
mission below). If you fail the boss, you'll have to start the whole level
over, so be careful.

2nd Mission : Neon City Battle

For this mission you must find and destroy the 20 Nightmarens before time runs
out. Start north, then right to hit the first yellow switch. This will activate
the yellow/green ring elevator. Go left to go down, then proceed south to find
the two first Nightmarens. Now head left and up for a third Nightmaren. Keep up
north, then head back up using the elevator rings. Defeat the Nightmaren above
the mirror ball in the center, then hit the pink switch that just appeared. Go
back down using the pink ring elevator nearby, then proceed left to find three
more Nightmarens. Head south from there, then up using the ring elevator. Move
out south for another Nightmaren, then go down using the rings. Follow the left
path to find two Nightmarens, then head back up using the rings on the left.
Head southwest from the plaza to find two more Nightmarens, then hit the yellow
switch they left behind. Return to the plaza and go down using the green
elevator rings in the top left corner. Now look at your map and go around the
plaza to find the remaining Nightmarens, as indicated on the map. Go up and
down the rings to get the last two in the bottom right corner.

4th Mission : Broadway Guide

Now it's Will's turn to guide Helen through his dream. Not really a maze this
time, but you'll need to find switches to activate the neons on bridges. Doing
so will allow you to cross them. At the beginning, hit the yellow switch on the
right by throwing a Blue Chip at it. Cross the neon bridge, then step on the
platform with Helen to cross over to the other side. Go up left and throw a
Blue Chip at the blue switch, then cross the neon bridge. Open the chest to get
a Time Chip, then head up the stairway. You can't cross yet, so jump down on
the pathway below. Helen will wait right there until you're back. Follow the
path and hit the yellow switch at the end (you might need to jump first to
reach it). Go up using the ring elevator, open the chest for a Time Chip, then
cross the neon bridge on the right. Head all the way right, hit the pink
switch, then meet back up with Helen at the other side oft he bridge. Go back
on your steps and stand on the platform to cross. Go down the stairways, cross
another platform, jump and hit the yellow switch ahead and cross the neon
bridge on the left. Open the chest on the left for a Time Chip, then proceed
right and cross the other platform. Jump into the rings to go up. Helen will
wait there for your return.

Head onto the catwalk and hit the blue switch where the bees are (easy to
miss). The neon bridge below will activate and Helen will cross. Stay on the
top path, she'll follow you from underneath. Go down to the end of the path
ahead and hit the yellow switch above the gap (it's the same switch from
previously, hit it again to change the color). Now Helen can cross the bridge
and get to you. Cross the yellow neon bridge on the left with her, then head up
the stairway and open the chest for a Time Chip. Cross over to the other side
using the platform, then go straight ahead and hit the switch. Follow the path
and open the chest at the end for another Time Chip. Cross the bridge on the
left, jump down, cross the other bridge and head up the stairway to meet back
up with Helen. Go back on your steps, cross the pink neon bridge, then look on
the right for a yellow switch in the air. Hit it with a Blue Chip, then ccross
the bridge and use the next two platforms to get to the exit, finally.

5th Mission : vs. Cerberus

To defeat Cerberus the first time, you'll need to touch-dash the ball right in
the middle of the chain holding Cerberus in a way that will knock both heads
together. To do so, grab the ball when you get the chance, and throw it in the
opposite direction that the heads are looking. If nothing happens, quickly grab
the ball a second time and throw it again. Do it another time if needed.
Eventually you should get it and both heads will knock. Cerberus will fall down
and re-emerge. Repeat the process two more times to win. To defeat Cerberus the
second time, use the exact same strategy, but using Rocket NiGHTs (press UP on
pad to transform). With the rocket you can reach the ball before it turns into
spikes. Repeat the same process three times to defeat it.

~~ Helen's Dream ~~

Aqua Garden

1st Mission : Chase

This is a standard flight mission. Climb up the chain with Helen to get into
the cage and dualize with NiGHTS. Fly over to the right, going through Rings on
the way.
After this is done, you'll face the first boss; Girania
(see 5th mission below). If you fail the boss, you'll have to start the whole
level over, so be careful.

2nd Mission : Aqua Challenge

There is a pink bubble in the middle of the stage that you must fill up with
smaller blue bubbles around the level. Go around to find some and push them one
into the other to make them bigger. Once the bubble is larger, push it towards
the pink one in the center to make it even bigger. Keep creating bigger bubbles
and merging them into the center one until the timer hits zero. If the bubble
is big enough, you'll suceed the mission.

3rd Mission : Link Challenge

In this mission, you must follow the Octopaw and go through the trail of rings
he leaves behind. You need to succeesfully do a Link of 25 consecutive Rings to
complete the mission. Collecting Blue Chips work too, so make sure to collect
some in-between the trails of Rings. Use the Boost as much as possible so you
don't loose any time. If too much time passes between each Ring you go through,
the Link will stop and start over.

4th Mission : Marine Escape

This is a on-foot mission where you're controlling Helen. Simply follow the
path until you get to NiGHTS. Collect Blue Chips, as you can use them to throw
at enemies to defeat them. Open the treasure chests on your way; you might find
Time Chips that will add precious time to the timer. Make it in time before the
timer hits zero to finish the mission.

5th Mission : vs. Girania

To defeat Girania, you'll need to get him out of the ground first. Fly around
the area and make Paraloops to lure him out. He'll start chasing you around. As
its head gets close to you, dash into him and he will turn into a cloud of
balloons. Make large Paraloops into the circle of balloons to burst them.
Repeat the process until there are no more balloons and Girania will be
defeated.

Crystal Castle

1st Mission : Chase

This is a standard flight mission. Climb up the chain with Helen to get into
the cage and dualize with NiGHTS. Fly over to the right, going through Rings on
the way.
After this is done, you'll face the second boss; Bomamba

3rd Mission : Labyrinth Guide

Guide Will to the exit of the maze before time runs out to complete this
mission. Most walls are mirrors, but you can walk through certain walls. Follow
the trails of Blue Chips as they always lead to the right way. Try to pick up
as many Time Chips as possible on your way also. Eventually you'll come to a
room with two enemies and no way out. Defeat the two enemies by throwing two
Blue Chips at each and the way will be revealed. Continue until you get to
another dead-end at the end of a passage with a stairway. Defeat the two
enemies here too to unlock the passage. You'll finally come to the final room
with a large stairway. Approach the wall blocking it, then turn around and
climb up the invisible blocks. Grab the red ball switch at the top to open up
the way and leave the palace (Will needs to be with you).

4th Mission : Jewel Fever

Fly around the area and collect 50 or more gems falling from the volcano. The
big silver gems are worth more, but trickier to catch. Normal colored ones are
worth only 1 point. You can use the Green Rings at the bottom of the stage to
gather more boost. It's a relatively very easy mission.

5th Mission : vs. Bomamba

To defeat Bomamba, you'll have to make her cats fall into the holes around the
platform. When they turn into balls, grab the handles around the stage and
start tilting it. Tilt it in a direction you can make a few cats fall in the
holes. Move around the stage often and grab different handles so you can get
the best angle to aim the cats into the holes (try the handle in the opposite
direction of a cat). After you succeed the first round, a new platform will
appear; this time much harder. The same process applies, and a bit of luck is
involved.

Memory Forest

1st Mission : Chase

Standard flight mission. Press the lever on the sundial at the start, then
climb up the chain with Helen to get into the cage and dualize with NiGHTS. Fly
over to the right, going through Rings on the way. The Rings will fill up your
boost meter. Use the boost to speed up and catch up to the guardian. Blue Chips
can also be collected for boost, with Paraloops. It's very important to use the
boosts often so you catch the guardian. Once you catch him, press the boost
button to grab the Key. Now that you have it, hurry back to the cage (left or
right, the closest possible) before the timer hits zero. You'll need to repeat
this process three times with two other keys to get. After this is done, you'll
face the third boss; Queen Bella (see 5th mission below). If you fail the boss,
you'll have to start the whole level over, so be careful.

2nd Mission : Forest Adventure

Here you'll need to work your way through the forest to find NiGHTS at the end.
Some blocks will be blocking the path during the day, but will transform into
fireflies during the night so you can go through. To do so, you must press the
levers on sundials nearby. You'll find one around everytime blocks are blocking
the way, or if you can't make it up somewhere, a platform will appear during
daytime. Keep switching from day to night and make your way through the forest.
It might appear as if there is no timer, but keep an eye on the clock in the
bottom right corner of the screen; if it becomes fully red, you'll have to
start over. Make sure to pick up as many Time Chips as possible on your way.

3rd Mission : Link Challenge

In this mission, you must follow the Octopaw as always and go through the trail
of rings he leaves behind. You need to succeesfully do a Link of 35 consecutive
Rings to complete the mission. Collecting Blue Chips work too, so make sure to
collect some in-between the trails of Rings. Use the Boost as much as possible
so you don't loose any time. If too much time passes between each Ring you go
through, the Link will stop and start over.

4th Mission : Sky Concert

To complete this mission, you must follow Owl (or the yellow shadow) and use
the boost (dash) to keep up with the tempo. Fly over all the notes on your way.
If you miss one, just continue. Never stop or you'll fall behind. You can only
miss as many notes as shown in the bottom right corner. If you miss too many,
you fail. Here again, I found this mission a lot easier with the Gamecube
controller (the stick is a bit longer so your speed better). Also, it helps to
pause the game in between a set of notes to reposition your finger. Keep up
with the beat and don't miss too many notes to finish the mission.

5th Mission : vs. Queen Bella

To defeat Queen Bella, you'll have to throw iron balls on the platforms above
until Bella has nowhere to stand anymore, and falls into the lava. Iron balls
will come out from Bella, so stick around her to get them. You can simply grab
onto them, then wait for a good aim and press the dash button to throw the ball
at the right position. The best way is to throw a ball right from the start in
between the two platforms above so it bounces between them and that way you can
get rid of as many platforms as possible. It always works best to throw the
balls diagonally so it hits many platforms at once. Also watch out for the lava
below; if a ball fall into and you're standing above, you'll get hurt. Try to
work on destroying platforms on each opposite side so you can trap Bella in the
middle (don't just destroy the platforms in a same area), then destroying what
remains of the platforms she can actually stand on (she can't jump that far)
and as the last platform falls down, so does she.

~~ Will & Helen's Dream ~~

Bellbridge

This level will be the same playing as Helen or Will. Catch the Guardians to
open the gates as you normally would in a standard flight mission. After you
get the second Key, the other Visitor will join you. Fly through the doors as
quickly as possibly, following the last Guardian. If you miss it, touch-dash
the doors with both characters to open them. After you get the final Key, open
the lock at the top of the clock tower.

vs. Wizeman

Wizeman is actually a lot easier than it seems. To defeat him, you'll have to
make use of the Personas you got earlier. Press left on the control pad to
transform into Dolphin NiGHTS, right for Dragon NiGHTS, up for Rocket NiGHTS,
and down to transform back into NiGHTS. There will be different phases where
you need to use the correct transformation (the order is random and will change
everytime you fight Wizeman). Start by gathering enough dash power by flying
through the Green Rings until your boost gauge is full. After each phase,
refill the gauge. If Wizeman teleports you into a psace distorsion with
vortexs, use the dragon transformation to reach up to him (use the dash). If
Wizeman duplicates himself into several copies, use the rocket transformation
to get to the very last Wizeman (the other ones are false) and avoid the
meteors. If Wizeman teleports you into water, you'll automatically transform
into Dolphin NiGHTS, so simply avoid the rifts and get to Wizeman. When you
reach Wizeman in any of the phases, first touch-dash the barrier protecting him
to break through it, then dash into Wizeman to hit him. You'll need to do this
three times to defeat him.

Now re-beat the game with both characters and all C-Ranks or over. Re-beat it
(again) to get an extra fight with Reala and extended endings for both
characters.

vs. Reala

This is actually the same exact fight NiGHTS had with Reala before Will's
Delight City, except that this time you must hit Reala five times instead of
three. To defeat him, you'll need to catch one of the huge meteor balls and
throw it back at Reala. It can be hard to aim at Reala since he constantly
moves around or throws one back at you, but that's really all there is to it.
Wait for an opening, grab a ball (it can be one that's sent at you - just catch
it back), throw it at Reala while he's standing still, and that's it. You'll
need to hit him five times to defeat him. Then fight Wizeman again and you're
done.

Enjoy the alternate ending and don't forget to do it with both characters.
=)

Dream Drops

If you collect all 60 DreamDrops hidden around Nightopia, you'll be able to
jump into the fountain at the Dream Gate and turn into Claris and Elliot, the
protagonists of the original NiGHTS Into Dreams.

Nightopia
Dream Gate
1: There is a DreamDrop by the rockface behind the "My Dream" Door. If you're
at the end of the game, it will be under the stairway leading to Bellbridge.
2: If you follow the pathway going around the edge of the island, you'll come
to a well where Owl is. Jump in the well to bounce up and collect the DreamDrop
in the air.
3: (Dolphin Persona required) Talk to NiGHTS by the fountain to re-do the
practice with him. Fly over to the pond and dive down. Swim to the rightmost
side to find the DreamDrop underwater.
4: You can find a cave around the island with this Dream Drop, but even easier,
use the Dragon Persona during the practice with NiGHTS and head down the air
draft at the beginning to find the DreamDrop in the cave.
My Dream
5: Look behind the door that takes you back to the Dream Gate to find this
DreamDrop.
6: In the middle of the field, in the air, is this DreamDrop. You can simply
jump to nab it, but you might not be able to at the beginning of the game. Come
back later when your My Dream has grown a landscape high enough to pick up the
drop.

Pure Valley
Mission 1
7: As Will at the start of the level, turn around in the opposite direction and
head left, then into the clear path leading to the edge of the area. The
DreamDrop is by the right rockface.
8: When chasing the first Guardian, slightly after the Capture Point, you'll
circle a giant tree, then go through a hole in the tree. The DreamDrop is
located near the top of the tree just before you pass through the hole.
9: When chasing the second Guardian, you'll fly over a lake with some
windmills. At the end of the lake, you'll circle the last windmill. Do this
part slowly; there is a DreamDrop in mid-air behind the windmill (it's not
hidden, but easy to miss).
10: (Dragon Persona required) After the area with all the ropes bouncing you
around when chasing the third Guardian, a wind gust will send you into a cave.
Turn into Dragon NiGHTS before you get to the cave and fly down to the bottom
of the gust to find the DreamDrop.
Mission 2
11: (Dolphin Persona required) A bit after the start, when you get to the area
with the lake and the windmills, go underwater and search around for a circle
of Blue Chips; the DreamDrop is right in the middle.
Mission 3
12: This DreamDrop is hidden in the grass; simply fly along the ground around
the stage to collect it.
Mission 4

13: Slightly after the beginning of the stage, you'll come to a wooden ramp
overlooking a big waterfall. Ahead of the drop is a column of Blue Chips and
the DreamDrop right at the top. To reach to it, you'll need to press forward to
gain some speed before the ramp, then as soon as you get on the ramp, jump and
hold forward (don't jump at the tip of the ramp or it won't work; you have to
jump at the start of the ramp). Make sure you're aimed directly towards the
column of Blue Chips, it might take a few tries to get it right. If you jump
too soon, you'll fly over the DreamDrop. If you jump too late, you won't make
it to the DreamDrop. Practice to get the right timing.
14: This DreamDrop is right in the middle of the river, under the wooden
bridge.
Lost Park
Mission 1

15: As you start as Will, turn around and walk straight ahead from the Door (in
the opposite direction). Head over to the thin tree in the sand, and continue
past it to the edge of the area. Hug the left wall of the cliff where Owl is to
find the DreamDrop.
16: Still as Will at the start, climb up the slope at the immediate left of the
Door and you should see a high cliff with a long stairway going around it in
the distance. Head over to it and climb to the top to find the DreamDrop.
17: After dualizing with NiGHTS at the first Capture Point, go left instead of
right. The DreamDrop is above the platform with the first tree you come across
not too far from the Capture Point.
18: When chasing the third Guardian, you'll fly over a big lake, then a wind
gust will blow you up a beanstalk. Before that part, fly over the lake (don't
go underwater), then transform into Dragon NiGHTS before you reach the wind
gust and nab the DreamDrop just above the gust (you can do it without the
Persona but it's harder).
Mission 2
19: At the start of the mission, swim down to the bottom, then go left to find
the DreamDrop on the ground nearby.
Mission 3
20: At the beginning of the stage, go left instead of right. You'll see sand
dunes shaped like a camel. On top of the head is the DreamDrop.
Mission 4

21: A bit before the jump prior to the cave near the beginning, stretch up to
grab the DreamDrop in the air.
22: This DreamDrop is located at the end of the cave, shortly after the first
drop.
Delight City
Mission 1

23: At the very beginning of the level, as Will, go directly left from the sand
box, past Owl, and up the big hill with a red chest at the edge of the area.
The DreamDrop is right behind the chest.
24: Still as Will, follow the hills left of the sand box and the climbing play
structure to find a giant tree atop a hill. The DreamDrop is behind the
tree.
25: When chasing the second Guardian as NiGHTS, after sliding out of the casino
and hitting the big blocks in the tree, you'll swing around some colored poles.
After the second pole, stop there - don't swing on the third. Look between both
poles for a circle of Blue Chips; the DreamDrop is in the middle.
26: When chasing the third Guardian, in the city part after the Capture Point,
you'll go down to the ground level. Instead of following the bird to the
right, go down. Follow the path to the southmost intersection and go left to
find the DreamDrop in a dead-end.
Mission 2
27: In the area with the big disco ball (upper area), near the pink ring
elevator is this DreamDrop.
Mission 3
28: (Dragon Persona required) After you come out of the casino with the slot
machines, fly down to the ground, transform into Dragon NiGHTS, then head right
and up the structure with the air draft. The DreamDrop is right on top of
it.
Mission 4
29: Near the end of the stage, there is a chest on your way with bees around
it. The DreamDrop is right behind it (you can't miss it unless you're
intentionally not opening any of the chests on your way).
30: At the very end of the level, when you ride the platform leading to the
blue neon bridge, drop down below on the pathway with the Blue Chips instead of
going on the bridge. Go up the stairway to an unlit pink neon bridge. The
switch to light it up is located right beneath it, but you can't really see it.
Just throw Blue Chips at the bridge from different angles until you hit it.
Cross the bridge and collect the DreamDrop.

Aqua Garden
Mission 1
31: As Helen at the very start of the stage, walk forward past the capture
point. At the wall, turn left and walk along said wall until you find the
DreamDrop to the left.
32: Just after getting the DreamDrop mentioned above, continue walking straight
ahead into the sea and find the group of orange fish flying around. The
DreamDrop should be in the water nearby.
33: (Dolphin Persona required) Right after dualizing with NiGHTS at the first
capture point, go left instead of right. There should be a column of water
right before the capture point. Head up to the top of the column of water until
you get into a pool of water above the stage. The DreamDrop is right above the
column of water.
34: (Dragon Persona required) When chasing the third Guardian, slightly after
the capture point, you'll get inside a cave with a gust of wind. Transform into
Dragon NiGHTS just before you reach the cave and look right above the entrance
opening to find the DreamDrop.
Mission 2
35: When you start, fly to the outside border of the level instead of towards
the center. When you reach the further you can go, start flying left to find
some blue fish. The DreamDrop is in the middle of them.
Mission 3
36: As you start, fly left instead of right. Stay close to the ground and keep
heading left (avoid the dash balls on the way) until you find the DreamDrop on
the ground before a cliff.
Mission 4
37: When you get to the second moving shipwreck, intentionally jump down to the
area below and find the other way back up. Get on the platform at the left of
the red chest to go up. Climb up here until you get to a cliff with a chest and
some crates with a barrel Owl is standing on. Throw Blue Chips to break the
crates and reveal the DreamDrop hidden underneath.
38: At the very end of the level, where NiGHTS is, jump on the wooden beam/mast
on the right, then carefully climb up to the tip and jump to grab the
DreamDrop. (Take a leap from the edge of the platform or the level will finish
if you step out)
Crystal Castle
Mission 1
39: As Helen at the start of the level, walk over to the right past the Door,
until you reach a giant waterfall. In the steam at the base of the waterfall is
the DreamDrop (can't see it but walk along to collect it.)
40: (Dolphin Persona required) After dualizing with NiGHTS at the first capture
point, fly right until you come to a pool of water. Plunge into it and swim
over to the right, staying close to the bottom, until you run into the
DreamDrop at the right-end.
41: In the castle with the mirror walls when chasing the second Guardian, when
you're inside the third room (right before the stairway), fly up to the ceiling
then stay close to it and fly left. Get inside the previous room from there
(fly between the columns). You'll be stopped by invisible blocks forming an
alcove. The DreamDrop is right in the middle, you can see its reflection on the
mirror wall.
42: To get this DreamDrop, you'll need to find and activate five gems scattered
across the whole level.
First: When chasing the first Guardian, you'll fly over a lake a bit after the
Capture Point, then go through a dash ball and line of rings over a piece of
land between this lake and the second one ahead. After going through the rings,
immediatly dive down to the ground to find the gem.
Second & Third: When chasing the second Guardian, you'll come across both
directly on your path.
Fourth: When chasing the second Guardian, right before you enter the mirror
castle, dive right up above the entrance to find the gem up in the air.
Fifth: When chasing the third Guardian, after going through the palace and then
the cave with the purple crystals, the gem will be right on your way.
Once you have all five gems, a sphere will open and reveal the DreamDrop. It
will be on your way right after the last gem, below the red chests where the
violonist statues are.
Mission 2
43: At the beginning of the level, go left instead of right. Fly close to the
ground, past the black gate/fence and collect the DreamDrop above the water on
the other side.
Mission 3
44: Right after going through the door leading to the blue hall in the starting
room, stop. Turn the camera around to spot the DreamDrop in the corner at the
right of the door.
45: After the second stairway, follow the path until you cross paths with an
enemy seahorse. Right after it, turn right into the false wall to find a hidden
room with bees. Climb up the invisible blocks on the right, then drop down past
the chests and jump to the other blocks ahead. Collect the DreamDrop near the
window.
Mission 4
46: Fly close to the ground all around the base of the volcano and you'll find
the DreamDrop.
Memory Forest
Mission 1
47: As Helen at the start of the level, activate the sundial to turn day into
night, then jump down the ledge at the left of the sundial and quickly follow
the path up to the DreamDrop ahead (where a block would be during daytime).
48: Shortly after the first capture point, and after playing all the notes on
the musical score as NiGHTS, go down to the very bottom of the air draft. On
the left of the wind is a hole where the DreamDrop is.
49: When chasing the second Guardian, you'll go through a merry-go-round. On
the third level, fly along the floor to find the DreamDrop.
50: Near the end of the course when chasing the third Guardian, you'll come to
a sundial (the last one before the final capture point). Activate it, then turn
into Rocket NiGHTS (can do it without, but harder) and hurry along the path of
blue flowers until you come to a tunnel with many dashballs. The DreamDrop is
right before that cave, where a block would be during daytime (needs to be
night).
Mission 2
51: You'll spot the first DreamDrop shortly after the second sundial, on a high
ledge with two chests at the end of the path. To reach it, activate the sundial
into the left path, then hurry back there and climb on the platform to get
it.
52: After dropping down the giant hole, at the second sundial from there, go
left instead of the usual right path (activate the sundial before). A platform
will be down during night. Hurry and get on it before it goes back up. When
it's at its highest, stay on it and turn the camera around to spot the
DreamDrop hanging in the air. Leap to it to grab it.
Mission 3
53: At the start of the stage, go left instead of right and fly along the
ground until you find the DreamDrop past some hills.
Mission 4
54: At the very beginning of the level, before starting the actual mission, fly
up to the top of the screen and go left to find the DreamDrop hidden up in the
trees.

Bellbridge
Will
55: When chasing the second Guardian, after passing over the dark green bridge,
you'll fly over a low building with a square roof. The DreamDrop is above the
roof.
56: When chasing the second Guardian, right after going up the pole in the dark
green open building, you'll fly over a low building with a dome roof. The
DreamDrop is above.
57: When chasing the third Guardian, after going through the third gate, dive
down immediatly to the floor to collect the DreamDrop.
Helen
58: After unlocking the first Door, stick up to the very top of the screen as
you dive down into the dark clouds. You should grab the DreamDrop on the
way.
59: When chasing the second Guardian, you'll come to a green square building
with an open center. Go down into that gap to find the DreamDrop.
60: The final DreamDrop is atop a round building with a dome roof near the end
of the course when chasing the second Guardian.
