  1. This does not work on sundays or mondays. In the morning, before anything opens, catch some fish to ship. Then after the stores open go work somewhere(Not On The Hook!)after your done their go work aton the hook.Once done their,go work at the bar. That should get you a good 600 dollars a day.Or,once the tailor is open, continuisly ask for a rucksack upgrade, even if you don't have the right materials.Shelly's love will go up by 10% each time. And since the money you make at the tailor depends on how much Shelly likes you, that's easy money.Hope I helped =)

  1. A good thing you can do to make money is to go to the mine and get lots of ores/wonderfuls and then refine/ship them. or you can plant a lot of things, but that is a little slower. You could also buy an animal that produces every day. But the mine is probaly your best bet, just make sure you have a lot of food, or gather mushrooms as you go through so you don't pass out.

  2. I don't know when in the game you are but by summer of the first year I try to plant lots of honeydew melons. Especially if I can afford fertilizer---huge money-maker. Then in fall I plant blue mist flowers because blue perfume sells for a lot (2 blue mist flowers in the mixer makes blue perfume.) When I start the game I try to make stir-fry out of cheap vegetables and sell it. I don't like the mine early on because you spend so much on food or stamina drink just to last a day.

  5. Buy multi-harvest crops. When you buy multi-harvest crops and lay down some fertilizer for all of the crops you will make the most money possible. The crops to buy are as they follow: breadfruit for the first spring because strawberries are too expensive for the first season, corn for the following season, ( boil the corn if it is only "good quality" )eggplants for the fall season, and I recommend a little bit of buckwheat for winter. For year 2, you might be able to afford straw-berries, so buy them if you can and buy cocoa from Pineapple Island. I also recommend that you buy more land with some of your money to plant more crops and expand your money amount. Plus, it doesn't matter if a few of your seeds or fertilizers over-lap just keep planting and watering every day. This little guide got me a total of 350,000 G. in only the 2nd spring. If you need any more help look at DetroitDJ's crop guide. If this doesn't work then just know I tried my best.....

  6. When you first start out, I found the easiest way to make money was to go to the mine. I would floor hop and pick up all the toadstools and mushrooms I could get my hands on, as well as mine for Wonderfulls.
Sell the toadstools for a quick profit, and save the mushrooms (Mushrooms + Herb + Cutting Board = Marinated Mushrooms, which sells for 320g.)

Once you unlock Toucan Island (which can be done by the first Summer, easily) you can buy Pineapples from the Inn for 180g, then use a Mixer to turn them into Pineapple Juice (1 Pineapple, in the Mixer) which sells for 270g each. It's an easy way to make some quick profits if you don't mind the repetitive Juice making.

These are just a couple simple tips. They are mostly useful for in the beginning (or if you spent all your money and don't have much left)

Go to DetroitDJ's FAQ/Walkthrough and search [RRC]
It has several Recipe's for easy money making (including the two I just mentioned)

  7. First, buy a pot. Then in the winter, grow lots of buckwheat and turn it into Buckwheat Noodles. They sell for 300G each. You only need one buckwheat to make a Buckwheat Noodles. Seeds are only 150G. You can make a lot of money this way.

  9. all of these answers are great, and i have only one more suggestion. on the first flower festival, blue herbs are for sale at 105 G apeice. buy as many as you can and as soon as you are able, buy a silk worm. no matter what quality it is, if you turn silk cacoons into yarn and dye it blue with the herb you have major cash! see:

    shpping price
    of blue silk yarn: 2000

    cost of one blue herb:105

    cost of silk worm: 2100

one silk worm makes 7 cacoons a season and 28 a year. if you dyed all those blue the total profit would be around 53,000 G
