Summary

The Demon is your first heavy unit that trades speed for increased power, both in attacking pyres and in blocking opposing players. The Demon is all about area control. She can easily block off areas with its huge aura, and the lunging dash lets her quickly blast towards a nearby enemy player and banish them. Her jump can also be used offensively or defensively as it throws back enemies and stuns them for a fraction of a second on impact. The Demon’s biggest weakness is that she can’t move quickly. The lunging dash takes a lot of stamina and can’t be performed in quick succession, meaning most of her movement is walking slowly. This leaves the Demon vulnerable to faster characters and aura blasts, especially when carrying the orb. If you can get your Demon to the enemy pyre, though, the damage she does is amazing. Jodariel can be built to focus even more on defense or for more offense. I prefer the defense option; it makes her even harder to take down and can give your Pyre a health boost that can make all the difference in a tough game.
