    Start the game, and go to the chancellor's house (top-left door). While you and the chancellor talk, rotate the directional pad clockwise (Up -> Right -> Down -> Left -> Up) about 20 times (or until the conversation is over if it doesn't work). Once you leave his house, you should have 9,999 gems and infinite lives.
