I remember the good days when I played this game. But for such, it should be on my last list. The game isn't that really comprehensive but you can still give it an "A" rating. The best things I can say about this game are that you can also make your own dueling field for you and for your opponent’s use. Cards are actually the usual cards of old Yu-Gi-Oh! Series. You also begin your destiny when you create your character and either put him on the Red Roses or those White Roses as well. Then start battling people and gain cards.
Another DMC Game! The game now features harder monsters, new weapons and an improved storyline. The graphics are fine. Now, you can also check the "bestiary" of the defeated monsters you defeated. There are only a few monsters you can battle including bosses, monsters that appear on side-missions and the usual monsters you battle on the main game. The storyline focuses on Dante as he defeats his evil brother, Virgil. Although you are the main character (Dante), you are gonna have to step your way up to Virgil and beat him up too.
Love guitars? Love music? Love rock? Probably this game is one of those games you might consider worth buying. It preceded Guitar Hero and this time, it now packs up with a Guitar controller for more fantastic gameplay. Also, the game has more songs and improved layouts with some minor tweaks and stuffs. Much more, a challenging game. You can also play head-to-head against your friend and compete in a better way too.
A wrestling game that challenged me for the past years... WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007. The game may not be perfect but the game already featured Online Play. At a pretty sight, you can battle others online. But in order for you to battle them, you are gonna need an internet connection. But what if you do not have an internet connection? Then you cannot battle online. The other good thing about this game is that on General Manager Mode, you can select options that will be applied on GM Mode itself not unlike in '06 where there is nothing like that. Sad thing when they made this game is that the roster is outdated. It’s not updated already when the game was released worldwide. Another thing that is worst on the game is that the loading screen takes forever. I mean, the loading screen is so slow and this annoys me whenever I play online. The look of the wrestlers and divas are fine but it’s not that realistic though.
An old game back way around the year 2003, this game packs the 4th place of my Top 10 List as the game exceeded my expectations. It features a similar RPG activity because it has chapters and is divided. There are 8 chapters of the game. The turntable of events occurs during any of the chapters making it a bit confusing. The storyline follows Maximilian or simply Max in a journey to defeat his worst enemy, Griffon. The game is not purely chapters, cut-scenes and equipments, but there are also "side-quests" similar to other RPG games as well. The side-quests are the excellent feature they put on the game because you can collect medals for purchasing "rare" items. The best side-quest in my opinion is the Finny Frenzy Contest. It lets your fish race against other fishes on a series of 3 Heats. First one is 1st Heat. Second one is 2nd Heat. And third one is Final Heat. Much more is that your equipments strengthens using items instead of when leveled up, its attributes increase. The attributes vary of each item as there are "rare" items that will increase not only 1 attribute, but 2 or more attributes as well. Your objective is to beat a boss here and your done.
If there is anything that would beat any racing game, I would say it’s the Gran Turismo 4. There are new cars to choose from and it's more realistic. Now, the game also features race tracks in an organized way and its textures are simply fantastic. The cars also now have an average price not unlike in GT 3. Also, earn licenses to get through other races and compete with others. And the race tracks are much bigger, wider and better. The worst thing only i can find about this game is that when you save your game, it already costs up 1 GB or 1 Gigabyte. So probably, it has to do with the graphics and stuffs.
A game that involves pure gore and blood but not that much, the game you need is God of War II. It also is a fantasy and adventure as you venture of the life of Kratos who seeks to be a god of Mt. Olympus and fight those that opposes you. In that case, the game also packs up a mini combo list for the main character of the game, Kratos. This will aid you in beating up your enemies as well as progress in the game. The graphics are cool. There's almost nothing to say about this game except that it is absolutely fantastic.
For a game that is Disney-related, this game is one of it. Its main character is actually Sora along with his other 2 Disney characters - Goofy and Donald Duck. Your main objective is to find the missing king, King Mickey. The battle system is similar to the FFXII's battle system which is not turn-based. You have to overrun a number of obstacles and enemies in order to find the missing king. The game has also cool graphics much related to Disney. Sora's main sword is actually the Keyblade which is, from the name itself, is a key made from blade. You also have 3 main elements on the game. Namely the Fire, Blizzard and Thunder. Increasing them will give you resistance against attacks from opponents that have the element.
When I first heard the announcement that another Final Fantasy game will be released for the PS2, I was like surprised and excited at the same time. The game now features an Active Battle System instead of those Turn-Based Battle Systems on Final Fantasy X of the same console. The new Battle System is much more fun and it gives actual relation on the Final Fantasy series. The graphics and textures are also improved but it’s not that of a "good quality". The storyline is still short for me but its fantastic because there are some cut-scenes that delivers to an enormous scenes of the actual game. In fact, the active party members you can have are still a maximum of 3. You can have a total of 7 Party Members (6 Main and 1 Guest). The Guest Party Member acts like a "back-up" and the guest party member adds to the active party members of 3 so making it 4 members.
If there is any other Grand Theft Auto game that gives you bloodier gameplay, I would say it’s the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas who beats them all. The game was made around 2004 and it already featured some vulgar language and some more that goes over M+ Rating. The game packs more "side-quests" for the player to do. This gave way to a more realistic gameplay than the Vice City. You can also swim around oceans and beaches not unlike the past GTA games. Moreover, the storyline was greatly improved but i won't give it a 10/10. If you are thinking of buying the same, choose wisely - think smarter. You may or may not like it but it depends on your choice. Hopefully, you will enjoy the game too. Now, you have just read my Top 10 List on Best PS2 Games of All-Time and I hope you enjoyed it.
All in all, these games are top-notch. Games that you missed out on your local retail stores, you also forgot that these are one of those best games in PS2 on the whole galaxy. Do never forgot to buy these when you get your fair share too!
