Super Mario 64 Cheats
A Bob-omb Magic Trick
Go to Shifting Land Land and do the "Another place for a second hat" trick. Now go back to the start and pick up a Bob-omb. He'll magically disappear, and you are holding your hat! The smoke sounds wil still be there, but Mario will be holding his red cap like a Bob-omb. Don't press B and wait. Woah! The ticking sound stopped, and no explosion happened. Where did the bomb go? Now, go to one of those tornados in the quick sand and keep on going into it until---the Bob-omb comes out of you and explodes! Cogratulations! Mario has done his first magic trick!

Another place for a second hat.
In the sandy world go to any star past number 1 and get your hat stolen by the big bird that was carring the star (you can usualy find him near the pink bomb-bomb's pillar) then go punch or kick or just jump on the bird WITHOUT getting the hat next go to the palm tree near the pink bomb-bomb and warp the more times you warp the more hats there are. eventualy after about 50 hats are on the screen the game will freeze. if you grab your hat when there are 2 or three there you get to wield your hat as a weapon. I think its kinda funny beating up those two hands with your cap he he.

Damage Negation Glitch
If you happen to take damage while simultaneously having it healed, the two negate each other outright and you will suffer no damage. An example of an application of this would be falling from a great height (which normally would take 4 chunks off your health) but landing on a Coin (which normally would heal 1 chunk of health) - even though this should have resulted in you taking 3 chunks of damage overall, you'll find that you have received none!
How to get a second hat for Mario.
Go to snowman's land, the one with the big snowman. Climb up the moutain and let the snowman blow your hat off. Then go to the two warping trees next to the frozen pond. Go through them and the cap will have another hat on top of it. Once you get your hat, there will be another one on the ground. Go get that one and Mario will have it the rest of the level or untill you exit the game. Mario can use his hat as a weapon, it does double damage to enemies.

Reduce Fire Damage
Whenever Mario takes damage from fire, an internal counter increments every 1/60 of a second until a certain threshold that tells it to stop applying damage to Mario's health. Interestingly, as compared to staying simply on the ground, if you're in the air this counter goes up 50% faster. Thus, if you wish to reduce the fire damage Mario takes, jump around as much as possible while he's burning!

Lethal Lava Land Warp

Shifting Sand Land Warp
In Shifting Sand Land, head over to the tree that is next to the oasis. Stand under the tree, and the game will warp you to a metal platform in the quicksand area. The cannon is there, as well as a black brick block. You can also warp from the metal platform to the tree.
Stop the Tick Tock Clock.
In order to stop the gears and platforms in the Tick Tock Clock, simply jump into the clock when the minute hand is on the 12.
Tall, Tall Mountain Warp
In Tall, Tall, Mountain, there is a warp that makes it easy to get to the cannon. In the area with all of the mushrooms, you will see two tiny mushrooms that are next to each other. Jump to the second tiny mushroom, and you will warp to a hidden area below the mountain. From there you can head to the cannon. You can also warp from the hidden area to the mushroom if you decide not to use the cannon.
The ''M'' Lives
Note: This trick only works in the Japanese Version.
If you can manage to collect 1,000 or more coins in a level (This is possible in the "Bowser in the Dark World" level), you will have a green "M" appear next to your lives and you will instantly have 25 "M" lives.
"M" lives work opposite of the normal lives. Whenever you'd normally lose a normal life, you'll gain an M life, and vice versa. If your M lives top M128 or go below M0, you'll go back to normal lives.

The game will warp you to a ledge coming out of the fortress, next to a large pole. You can also warp from the ledge to the area where the Thwomp is.

Super Mario Sunshine Cheats
Access Pianta Village Anytime
This trick allows you to access Pianta Village without the rocket nozzle.
Get behind the Shine Gate in Delfino Plaza, and jump onto the first small wall. Face away from the gate, backflip (quickly press the opposite direction and jump) and hover over to the large Shine, and land on the little overhang surrounding it. Go to the edge facing the rest of the plaza, turn around, and do a triple jump, only make the first two jumps small. Do this next part quickly and carefully: on the peak of the third jump, hover, turn around, and grab on to the top of the gate. Jump into the pipe, and congrats! You've just gotten into Pianta Village without using the Rocket Nozzle!
In Gelato Beach, or any other levels where there are Bubbas (the big red fish that drags Mario underwater), you can stop them from draging Mario underwater if you pick up a piece of fruit and start swimming with it. The Bubbas will follow mario around (and sometimes even pass through him), but won't be able to drag him down.

Easily Finish Pinna Park, Episode 5
In this episode, you're normally intended go complete the ridiculously long obstacle course on the back of the Ferris Wheel. However, if you look opposite the Ferris Wheel, there's a long, green platform. You can hover-jump from it across to the Ferris Wheel's top ledges, usually ignoring the hit detection with the spinning arms of the wheel. You can then just get under the top enemy and knock him off.
Easily Finish Sirena Beach, Episode 3
In this episode, you're meant to find an obscure way into the pool room on the top floor where the Shine Sprite is. Instead, grab a group of bananas and go up to that room's glass windows. Approach the windows and then turn facing away from them. Do a backwards jump to get right up against them, then do a double-jump. At the peak of your jump, throw the bananas and you should clip through into the pool room.
Easily Finish Sirena Beach, Episode 4
In this episode, enter the casino as intended. Jump onto one of the edges of the fountains most opposite the entrance to the room, Do a back-flip and hover towards the structure at the side of the room opposite the door and you should grab onto a ledge. Face to the side of there, hold L, and sidestep towards the black void on the other side for about 2 seconds. Then jump and hover in that direction for about a second and you should land on a platform with the pipe to the next portion of the level. It's a lot faster than hoping for those 777's!
First, go to Delfino Plaza and collect 100 coins. Immediately after, find the pianta on a roof that throws you into a building for one coin. Collect the shine inside the building and when you start over in Delfino Plaza, you will have 99 coins. Get another coin (to make 100) and you will get an extra life. Repeat as desired.
When you have the Rocket Nozzle, charge it up. Before it fires, jump, timing it so that you hit the ground around the time it would normally launch you into the air - if done correctly, it'll fire but you'll stay on the ground. However, the Rocket jump is still "stored" - if you sidestep from this point off a ledge, it'll fire as you walk off, sending you even higher than you'd normally go. You can even then charge up a second jump as you go flying, allowing you to gain even more height!
This glitch can also be executed in a similar manner with the Turbo Nozzle (even though it doesn't launch you vertically) for some reason, though the process of charging up vertical momentum is much slower.
Unlock the Turbo and Rocket Nozzles Early
To unlock the Turbo and Rocket Nozzles immediately, without having to contend with Shadow Mario, you will need to enter and exit Corona Mountain. When you exit the level, you'll find that the two Nozzles are already unlocked, and available near the Pianta Statue in Delfino Plaza. (Note that, to unlock Corona Mountain, you must finish Episode 7 in every area of the game. Pianta Village is intended to be reached with the Rocket Nozzle, but this can be bypassed by using the "Access Pianta Village Anytime" glitch above.)
This glitch allows Mario to run around underwater in Delfino Plaza during the flood.
Clear Episode 7 in every level to flood Delfino Plaza. After watching the long cutscene and Mario's long drop into the Plaza, swim over to the log in front of the Shine Gate. Dive underwater, and try to surface under the log. If done correctly, Mario will suddenly drop and he'll be walking around under the water, and the Underwater Life Gauge will be gone. You can do this trick with any of the logs in the Plaza.
NOTE: During the flood, only Serena Beach and Pianta Village are accessable. The rest of the stages and any underwater manholes or buildings aren't.

Acquire the Blue coin from Delfino Plaza's Mushroom Pianta early
In Delfino Plaza, there is a Pianta carrying mushrooms on his back. After a certain number of Shine Sprites are collected, this pianta will catch fire. Putting out the fire will award a blue coin. However, there is a way to get his blue coin without having to wait until he catches fire, and that is when you first arrive in delfino plaza. Starting with the first goop pile in the plaza, swoopin stus spawn from them. Lure one or more over to the mushroom pianta until he sinks into the goop. After that, clean the goop up and the clean him. After that, he will give you the blue coin he would have given when he caught fire.
