How does cmponent and captured monsters work?

  1. I'm new to this game with 2hrs in with loads of these components and 2 captures monsters. What am I supposed to use this stuff for?

  1. You can upgrade weapons/armors/items and craft them at certain shops (look for blacksmith hammer).

    Your ally will ask you to go get such and such item.. or you see someone wanting x item off of loot screen. that is them doing the same. so you should let them. recommended to fight more of the same monsters so they can finish up.

    Captured monsters I think there used to be some achievement reward for ps or 360 version for # of captured. I really don't think that matters now.
