What exactly is meant by IV?
I have no idea and I hear it all the time darkdeity9 - 3 weeks ago
IV's (Individual Values) are essentially the genes of a Pokemon. Each stat has it's own IV that contributes (alongside base stats, EVs and nature) to the overall growth of a Pokemon. IVs range anywhere from 0 to 31 and at level 100 are added to their corresponding stats.

Individual Values. You can see them as the individual talents of a Pokémon in each "combat field" (Statistic), while EVs are Effort Values, so the training they do/get in those fields. Your base talents towards something stay the same but you can train yourself to become better at that thing. Andrex_93 (Expert) - 3 weeks ago
Huh? Can you explain that in a different way? I still don't quite understand darkdeity9 - 3 weeks ago
