02 - Cases and S+ Ranks
Chapter 1 - Initiation
Blue Case #1 - Training with Jin
Required by the Story
Blue Case #2 - Can't Be Too Careful
On Floor B3 near the Training Room is a Concerned Medic. Speak to them to get some Medicine. Go up to B2 and bring the medicine to "Overworked Medic" seated near the elevators. You'll get a Medicine and two Medicine (Mini) for your trouble.
Chapter 2 - Sortie
Red Case #1 - Crisis on Grand Avenue
Required by the Story, to S+ this, it is best to go for "Just the Facts" reward, which requires you to only get the necessary keywords. So, the moment you land, eavesdrop on the whispering cops to get "dragged through the gate", examine the handprint for "giant hands", then speak to Max and turn in each keyword.
Red Case #2 - Out of the Gate
Required by the Story, this is the fight against your first Briareos. This is much easier to S+ when you get Sync Attacks, so don't expect full marks on your first run through. Mix up the Sync Attacks to score high. Also if you can get it sorted in under a minute, you'll get 10,000 points on time alone.
Blue Case #3 - Gate Disposal
Technically not required by the Story, but dropped right in front of you nonetheless after the Briareos fight. Tie up the Gate right in front of you.
Blue Case #4 - Crime Prevention
This Blue Case is marked on your map near the northeast part of Grand Avenue. Approach and you'll find a criminal talking to an associate. Use your Legion to follow him and you'll see his word balloons pop up. Once the conversation completes and Olive gives you the go, wrap him up.
Blue Case #5 - Civilian Unrest
Technically not required by the Story, but you stumble across it as you leave the area. Two civilians will be in a kumite and you'll want to wrap them up to complete the case.
Blue Case #6 - Gate Disposal
As you progress up the passages, you'll come across this officer shooting a Gate. Wrap it up to assist her.
Red Case #3 - Into the Gate
This case can only be completed once you come back with the Arm Legion. Immediately after Blue Case #6, you'll see a closed shutter gate on the back wall. Pull it open with the Arm and move the Legion to the back of the passage where a Gate will appear. Enter it. There are a couple of Supply Crates here, but the way forward is where the "Sword Slash" blocks are. Remove them and head up the ramp to the movable blocks. Pull them out of the way with the Arm Legion then proceed further to another Sword Slash block and remove it.
In the next area, you'll see a push block and two elevators, one that isn't moving. Move the block onto the non-moving elevator and the block will lower. Now drop down next to it and move the block into the blue space to lock it there. Ride the elevator back up and chain jump across to the battle area. Here you'll fight Orthrus, a combined Winged and Beast chimera. It pounces and swipes and generates tornadoes, but if you're leveled enough it shouldn't be a problem as you're facing it alone. Defeating it within 30 seconds should make for an easy S+.
Red Case #4 - Protect and Serve
Required by the Story. Come back with Sync Attacks to make this one easy. It's just Abs and a couple Infantry. Keep them away from the civilians for a bonus. Get it done under a minute and you should be fine.
Chapter 3 - Escape
Red Case #5 - Idle Hands
Required by the Story, this is the boss fight against Enceladus. I might sound like a broken record, but coming back with Sync Attacks will make this easier. Also you may really want to improve your Legions and get some proper skills before you take this one. I got this one done under a minute and got 20,000 points on the time. Well more than is necessary.
Red Case #6 - Gate Crashers
Required by the Story, the fight against the rebelled Legions. Since you won't have Sync Attacks for the first part, it's very suggested that you come back with stronger weapons and Legions, as well as more health. Try to pull out a bunch of different Sync Attacks for the fight against the four Nemeses to buff up your score. Getting it done quick is helpful as well. Try to keep it under four minutes for a nice score.
