How to make a mining bomb with maxed out fire?

I'm trying to make a bomb to get the ?fairy stones? From the old mine but can't get the fire section maxed out on my mining bombs. I have literally only one slot left.

Okay so you know medicine base? If you max out the ice gauge, it gives Add (gunpowder). And medicine base has 2 dots of fire already.
Now what you do is, for the two awakened slots you use:
1) Pure oil (for Awakened fire +1), and the pure oil must have a maxed red gauge for Add (medicinal)
2) Wicked bone (for Awakened fire +1)
This will give your medicine base 4 dots of fire, enough to max out the red gauge of the mining bomb. Now to actually max out the blue gauge of the medicine base I had to use a black runestone, which I got from the traveling merchant lady at Arls National mine (her name is Jeltje)
tldr: Make medicine base with maxed out blue gauge for (add gunpowder), give medicine base (Awakened fire + 1 or 2 somehow), use this new gunpowder to make your mining bomb.Blademaster_Aio - 2 weeks agoUser Info: Blademaster_Aio
