Best place to farm candies or catch combos ?

  1. As in title. Is there any good lace to farm some catch combos and/or candies ?

  1. @TheMiziko Of course not. The only thing catch combos do is increase your chances of seeing one. I see Dragonites when I have a catch combo of 10+ and a lure on usually. If you wanted, you could find him without a catch combo (although it would take a really long time.)

  1. Uhh it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for exp you could go to cerulean cave and get a good catch combo with Chansey. Otherwise, anywhere is fine since you could get a catch combo with anything anywhere. Unless that's not the question you're asking?

  2. @reshiram27 well I need catch combo for Dragonite :) So I was thinking I can either farm xp or candies simultaneously, and there must be some areas better than others for farming one specific species

  3. Dragonite conbos are realitvely hard to get. When I was hunting for my shiny Dragonite, I found it easy to look on route 2 (south of Viridian Forest.) The thing about Dragonites is that they are rare to find. I would reccomend getting a catch combo of 21 or so of any Pokémon, use a lure, catch a Dragonite, and then just keep trying to find them from there. It is a little time consuming, bet that's really your best bet. I hope this helps. :3

  4. @TheMiziko why don't you just farm Dratini then? Dratini are much more common than Dragonite at least.

  5. @Reshiram27 @loviejoshie I was talking about the catch combo you need to even see/catch dragonite :) You need 31 catch combo of any species to see him right ?
