Why do people hate byleth and FE character in general?

These are the usual responses 1. To many FE characters 2. To many sword characters 3. To many anime characters
4. FE is not as relevant as other series.
There are still more mario characters if there were more of other types of characters then people will say to many ***** characters what's so wrong about anime designs Nintendo's from Japan and anime looks good and FE is relevant its FE has 17 games have great ratings (usually) and makes lots of money and also no waluigi is not a reason so please explain ?
