How do I drop items?

  1. I've gotten a bunch of weapons and things that I don't need, and they're slowing me down. How can I drop them permanently?

    1) If you buy the a bottomless box you can deposit them in there at a bonfire to not see them cluttering up you weapon list. So as to get them out of the menu for switching, so they don't waste your time search. Though that doesn't actually get rid of them.(Just that some things don't seem to want to be dropped, so I guess that's what you do with those).
    2) When in the item menu(on the weapon page) select the item and then select the option drop(which also includes rearranging option). Keep in mind that its likely similar to the rearranging option, so you may need to reselect the weapon. Although some items will have the option crossed off which may facilitate used of option 1.
