  1. so I played the demo, started with Linde then got thief boy (forgot his name, will call him Bill). I was disappointed with how Linde became a mob during Bill's chapter 1, she was just a battle ally with no interaction with Bill or his story. is this how the game plays out, with each character being the "only character" of their independent stories, or is this a chapter 1 thing?

  1. This is pretty much how the story will play out for the chapter 1s. Starting chapter 2 onward though, the characters you have in your party will engage conversation with the character's story you're currently doing after certain cutscenes. Look it up, it's called travel banter, and the interactions are actually really good. Also, btw, Bill's actual name is therion, and his path action is really good, be sure to keep him around for free items.

  1. There are small, optional conversations between the characters, but they really have no impact whatsoever on each other's stories. There is a late-game side-quest that involves them all, though.
