I haven't proven my honor? (Companion's quest)

  1. So, according to my quest log, the quest "Proving Honor" has been competed.
    However when I go talk to Skjor, I can't get a new mission from him, and the dialogue suggests I haven't finished the mission he gave me before.

    Looking at the quest in the log, although it has been completed, the small diamond next to "Return to Jottvaskr" hasn't been filled in, to say that I haven't completed it.

    But I don't seem to have the shard of wuuthrad on me (It's been a long time since I've played on this particular profile and I can't remember if I might of misplaced it somewhere) and I don't think it could be sold.
    I also own the free skyforge sword that you receive, so the game seems to imply I've finished the quest as well.

    Any ideas on how this could be solved, or am I forever doomed to have not proven my honor?

  1. This is a reported bug. Like most of them, they can be solved by loading a previous save and trying again. It seems there are some about fast travelling when coming back from Dustman's Crypt. If you didn't try it yet, walk back with Farkas.

  2. I see, thank you and I'll give walking back a shot
    (I'm unable to reload via saves because as I've mentioned, not played in a few months and for some reason I have a stupid tendancy to delete saves as I progress further into the game, so I'm a ding-dong x3)

    I mean, the quest overall doesn't bother me too much (I was going to do it more for the sake of grinding than anything) because I'm currently way too under-levelled for my point at the game (At least, I think I am, level 22 and just captured Odahviing)
