What is time zone for Texas?

It depends on which area you're in, as Texas has 2 timezones: one is UTC-6 or MDT (Mountain Daylight Time), which is for example what is used in El Paso, while the other is UTC-5 or CDT (Central Daylight Time), which is for example what is used in Houston. Note that, of course, when Daylight Savings Time is not on, the timezones become UTC-7 and UTC-6, respectively.
