WHAT IS THE POWERFEST '94?:

The Powerfest ’94 game is much bigger then the average SNES game. It has a
cord that goes out the back so it can network with up to 8 other games and it
displays everyone’s score on a separate monitor and is set up with a timer
that stops all the games after 6 min. It is the same design that the Nintendo
1992 Challenge cart uses. Visit http://www.snesmaps.com and click on
Powerfest '94 to view more information about this competition.

GAMES:

1. Level 1-1 of Super Mario Lost Levels
2. Five laps of 1st track on Super Mario Kart
3. Finally, Ken Griffy Jr. Home run derby where all the real points come
    from by hitting home runs.

SUPER MARIO LOST LEVELS:

The object in this game is to beat Level 1-1 as quickly as possible. Make
sure you don't get the fire works at the end of the level because this waists
valuable time. Fireworks will occur when you reach the flagpole if the ones
digit for the coins matches the ones digit on the timer.

Don't worry about collecting points in this game. Your score is only
multiplied by a factor of 1. It is more important to get though this game
as quick as possible.

Once Level 1-1 is finished the game switches to Super Mario Kart.

SUPER MARIO KART:

In this game you must complete 5 laps around Mushroom Cup Round 1. Make sure
to grab as many coins along the way as possible. The more coins you have the
faster your top speed. Greater then 10 coins gives you the maximum top
speed.

Make sure you finish in 1st place to get the 90,000 point bonus!

Scoring:
1st place = 90,000 points
2nd place = 60,000 points
3rd place = 30,000 points
4th place = 10,000 points
5th place = 5,000 points
6th place = 3,000 points
7th place = 2,000 points
8th place = 1,000 points
Coins = 1,000 points per coin

HOME RUN DERBY FROM KEN GRIFFY JR. MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL:

This is the 3rd and final game in this competition. This is where the real
points in the competition come from.

Hit as many home runs as possible. The best kind to hit are the ones that
hit the pole on either the right or left side. They still count as a home
run and they take the least amount of time so you can get more home runs
before time runs out.

Every time you hit a home run you will automatically switch to a better
player until you finally get Ken Griffy Jr.

Scoring:
In the Home Run Derby you get the total feet of all your home runs multiplied
by 100 and the number of home runs multiplied by 1,000,000 points.
