  • Several changes were made when the game was released in the U.S. including the removal of crosses in the graveyard during the introduction sequence and in Stage 2. Statues in Dracula's castle's were given robes to remove nudity. Blood was changed in the dungeon stage to acid as well as the removal of blood stains from spikes. Simon's chain whip also sounds different when cracked.
