    I plan to make this Shadowrun Walkthrough one of the best guides that
    have ever been made, even if it takes me a million re-writes! Trust
    me! I plan to do this, now... This file has been a long running FAQ.
    Original Copy, walkthrough version 1 was made on April 11 of 2000,
    back when I was young, and unexperienced. The next one was when I 
    was older, when I was more experienced and smarter, that was made 2nd
    March 2002. To today. A lot more experienced, I plan to make this a
    fantastic guide. It was conincidental that it was made also on the
    2nd March 2003. Maybe something clicked in my mind, but I'll never
    A couple of rules....
    1. Ask politely when asking questions. Things like 'Answer me or you
    will be hacked' will not answer your question...
    2. Ask your question in detail. Things like 'How do I do this?' will
    not get you anywhere again, because, 'how do you do WHAT?' would be my
    3. Make sure that the question you are asking is not in the guide!!!
    For example, 'how do get past the first dungeon', or 'what are the
    controls?' are already answered, so don't wait for a reply. Always
    use Ctrl+F (find) and type in a key word to find what you are looking
    4. Also, for this last rule, when e-mailing, state which game you are
    asking. I've got e-mails so far (since i have made some FAQs) and some
    of them don't even state which game they are talking about. Please
    tell me, for one e-mail I've had to ask them which game they were
    talking about.
    5. Don't send anything more than 2kb in my e-mail if you just e-mailed
    me, because i'll think its something bad. Otherwise, the e-mail just
    won't be opened.
                                1. Explantaions
    Here are controls, etc.... and all.
    Since you basically stay in the one sort of level, where you stick to
    the same controls 'n all. Oh yeah, except the computer. That will be
    covered later on in the walkthrough.
    Start - Brings up the Menu                ---> Go to 'Menu'
    Select - Brings up Party status           ---> Go to 'Menu'
    X - Casts selected spell                  ---> Go to 'Menu'
    Y - Brings up Item menu, that's all.      ---> Go to 'Menu' - [2]
    B, L & R - Brings up Hand, inspect things ---> Go to 'Cursors'
    A - Aim and shoot selected gun,           ---> Go to 'Cursors'
    NOTE: Press start in the menu and it'll 
    CONFIRM what you have highlighted.

    [1]- Your cursor starts here. Move up or down to select a category.
    Press B after you have highlighted something. A is to cancel 
    whatever you are doing. Highlight anything BUT exit, and press B.
    This will activate [2].
    Exit- Press B when highlighted to go back to the normal screen.
    Items- Press B and a box will come up with all the items collected.
    Magic- Get magic from Dog Shaman and magic will appear in the box
    when you press B
    Weapon- Get guns and grenades to equip.
    Armor- Buy armor to equip to make you stronger in defense.
    Skills- Skills like firearms (guns) and computer (hacking) are placed
    in here. Also upgraded by karma.
    Cyber- Shows you what cyber tools you have.
    [2] After you have pressed B on anything, (I'd suggest items) a 
    screen at point [2] will come up. It will have whatever items (or
    weapons, armor etc...) you have. Note that there also is exit there.
    That will close it when you press B when highlighted or you can get
    out of it straight away by pressing A.
    [3] All of this tells you your full status. Body.... is your life 
    points, but what is that 3 sign next to your health points (HP) ???
    Its how much you have upgraded it so far, the more times you do that
    the more your life goes up. I'll feature that later. Magic, is the
    same thing, but you don't start off with any Magic Points (MP) or
    any magic! Strength, is how strong you are. The more you upgrade it,
    the stronger the bullets are. Charisma, is the amount of shadowrunners
    you can have at one time. Then below is...
    Karma - Whats that in this game!? Well, its to upgrade your stats,
    Strength, Body, Magic and Charisma. You get karma by killing a certain
    amount of enemies, and it can be a pain getting these.
    Money - This money is to buy armor, weapons, and other stuff to help
    you progress through the game.
    Spell- You need a spell to equip, then you press X to cast it.
    Weapon- Make sure you have got a weapon to shoot! Press A and a cross-
    hair will appear and you need to aim to shoot. The closer you are, the
    more damage will be inflicted.
    Armor- Also, you can upgrade this. For an extra, you can find and equip
    new armor to receive less damage.

    What are these things when you press [A] or [B]?? They are your cursors!
    There are two different types of cursors:
    Crosshair (for shooting)
    Hand (for inspecting)
    You need a gun to activate this. If you don't activate this, you can't
    shoot at any enemies. You need a better gun to inflict more damage.
    For most of the game you will use this hand. Its to inspect, pick up
    stuff, like money, and guns, etc... You also need this to talk to 
    Crosshair Hand
    If you press your crosshair button, which is A, then go to your Menu,
    by pressing START, then exit, quickly press B then A straight away. 
    If done correctly, you should be able to shoot with your hand! This
    is a glitch which I found.
                                 2. Walkthrough
                               THE YEAR IS 2050
                             And the megaplexes are
                            monsters casting long

                          giant corporate structures.
                          The megacorps are powerful
                          in a time where power means
                            ...computer information
                         flowing in the global network
                               called the MATRIX.
    If you wait and keep watching at the title/selection screen, it should
    switch to a scene - a short prologue - of what happens. You see some
    people, gangsters, chase a person, then start shooting him with about
    50 bullets, then leaving him for dead. A dog comes along, then magic-
    ally turns into a woman, who casts some magic on the poor guy, giving
    him another chance to live, which you then see some guys come along...

    | • Please, please follow the walkthrough completely. If you do not |
    |   follow the guide completely  you might miss out on an important |
    |   event which could affect  the game  and you will have to  do it |
    |   all over again. And, I'm sick and tired of people asking me how |
    |   to do stuff when it is stated in the guide on how to do it.     |
    | • Don't stand and shoot when you combat. That is just  stupid. It |
    |   is important to take a few shots then  move around to  avoid as |
    |   much damage being dealt to you.                                 |
    | • Save when you can, and use karma when you get  enough to  level |
    |   whatever you want to. Remember, it is important because karma's |
    |   used to boost your stats, such strength, and your life bar!     |

    ~ Area 1 : Waking Up ~
    Start the game. The game starts off as those guys you saw for about a
    split second in the prologue. One says that he's dead, some gang
    'geeked' him, their term for killing. The other guy doesn't think he
    is dead, because he sure didn't look like it. They decide to rest and
    leave it till the morning. They leave the morgue, and then the person
    who is 'dead', which is the character you control, stumbles out, and
    complains his head hurts. He also says that his brain feels burnt,
    which is what the first doctor said. You don't know who you are, or
    where you are. You've lost your memory. Anyway, get familiar with the
    controls. Press SELECT to find out your name is Jake. Now how did he
    do that? Go examine the slab (go near it, press B and drag the hand
    to the slab) and choose 'examine'. You read what it says, Armitage
    J., which is obviously your name, Jake Armitage. Read the piece of
    paper which falls out, using the same technique of pressing B and
    dragging the hand to the paper and examining it. It says Warehouse No.
    5. You can pick it up, which I did, though you don't have to. You can
    also close the slab. its optional as well. But whats most important
    is going southwest to the middle tray (southwest is down-left) and
    pressing B and examining ('its a very sharp instument') and picking
    up the scalpel. Thats important. Okay, go north west to the fridges
    and open the right one, and get a Slap Patch from the fridge. This you
    probably want to do, Slap Patches restore your Health Points. Go to
    the wooden door you see, and open it. Immediately the doctors run
    away scared of you, because you are supposed to be dead, not alive!
    Go to the door they went into, and 'talk' to the door. One of the
    doctors say that there's nobody but mice. You can also find that the
    door is locked from the inside. Nothing else much here, except you can
    find that the filing cabinet is locked and a matchbox you have in your
    pocket says 'Wastelands Club'. Go to the door in the north-west corner
    and open it. You appear in a long corridor, in which all the doors
    are locked except the one you came from and the exit, which is at the
    very end (south-east). As you exit, a guy who looks suspicious runs
    up and talks to you.
    ~ Area 1 : Getting to know the place ~
    You enter a talking screen, the first in the game. He tells you he
    can't believe you are alive after he saw you 'geeked' by the hitmen.
    The word HITMEN in the bold letters because it is a keyword you learn,
    and you will find it in the Ask About section. Any words in Bold
    letters are keywords you can ask anyone about, and they can be very
    important. You learn <Hitmen>. Move the cursor down to talk, and you
    learn you need a <Firearm>, or you'll get killed. Exit, and he'll run
    off. Okay, time to investigate... On this level, there are buisness-
    men, who I mentioned last time were 'bums' which they are, you can
    talk to them but learn nothing. See the fountain in the middle? Well,
    go to the north east corner of fencing to see an odd part sticking
    inwards. Open the broken gate and a dog will run out, howling its
    brains off and barking before dropping something and running off. Go
    to the Dog Collar the Dog dropped, and pick it up, thats important
    as well. Okay, from there go to the south east corner to another level
    where you will head north east into a building. This building has 2
    doors, enter the first one to see a familiar person on the ground,
    dead. Examine him and then pickup a Door Key he drops. The key says
    '6'. On the table is a memo, which says 'Armitage to perform courier
    run to Matrix systems. 70-30 Split.' What does that mean? Anyway,
    pick it up, exit the building, and go back to the fountain level. 
    Now, head up to the north-east exit to a alleyway, where its random
    that someone has a gun and shoots at you through a window. Enter the
    building, and head up to the 3rd door on the right side, to examine
    that its is Apartment 6. Providing you have the Door Key, you can get
    into this room by pressing Y and going to Door Key, press A and then
    go to Use, which then goes back to the hand, and then open the door.
    In your room, there's sunnies near the bed; pick them up. You can rest
    in the bed, which allows you to save your game and use Karma, though
    you don't have any right now. Go to the ringing phone thing on the
    wall, and there's a recorded message, which tells you that some guy
    named Drake tells you to 'cancel' your run. Next to the computer is
    a ripped note, which has a number on it; Sassie 702-826. Pick it up.
    Also, open then examine the filing cabinet to gain 20 Nuyen, the
    form of money in this game.
    <Note: It is important that you remember that this place is here,
    going and resting in your bed restores HP as well as giving you
    options to do things.> Exit back to the fountain.
    Go to the south-west level, where you will see that guy you talk to
    keep running (geez, he must of taken a really long break. It doesn't
    matter how long you take though, you can leave the SNES on for hours
    and go here and he'll still be there). Follow the guy down some stairs
    into a dark alleyway, where some guy tells him that he took a wrong
    turn, and it'll be his last. Advance on, and a Orc will start shooting
    at you. Quickly advance to the body and the gun. Don't bother
    examining the gun, its a Beretta 101T. Pick it up. As soon as you do,
    press START and go to weapon, and equip the Beretta Pistol. Press A
    to bring up the crosshair, and start shooting the orc. It takes too
    long to move and shoot once, so shoot and hit him a couple of times,
    move away a bit and shoot again. Once you kill the Orc, examine the
    body, which looks like a human, and you can get a Worn Leather Jacket.
    Press START and go to Armor and equip it. Go north west to the dark
    corner of the alley, and a dog will talk to you. Talk...? Anyway,
    choose Talk and learn <Dog>. Exit. Go back to the streets.
    Now, with your newly found unlimited bullet Beretta 101T and Worn
    Leather Jacket which never seems to go away, you can kill people,
    finally. But beware of your health, DON'T use a Slap Patch.
    On the streets, you will notice people shoot out of windows and peep-
    holes. Kill them, and occasionally they will drop Nuyen, which is the
    form of money in this game (¥ is the symbol). And sometimes you will
    gain Karma, a form of points you spend to boost your attributes.
    Oh, also if you haven't already, press Y to go into the item selection
    and 'use' the shades, to alter Jake's appearance.
    Okay, a nice way to gain Nuyen and Karma is to head back to your
    apartment first, rest to gain back all your HP, exit your room and
    head into Apartment 7, a door below yours. There are many enemies
    here, and they are not that hard, just stand and shoot, and when you
    are low on HP go back and rest. Re-entering the room spawns more
    enemies each time. Spend some time to build your Nuyen up to 500, at
    which point your Karma should be around 10 or so, if not at least 5.
    If you want to, which i recommend, spend time to get 14 karma, and
    rest and use your karma to increase Body and Strength by 2. I know,
    I know its pain in the ass to get, but what must be done, must be
    ~ Area 1 : More of the Place ~
    Head to the Grim Reaper Club. You probably don't know where it is,
    so I'll guide you through, along with some other stuff. Head to the
    fountain level, and go south west. Enter the building in the corner.
    Open the first door you see, and there can be enemies here. Pick up
    the Paperweight on the table. Exit and go into the next room you see.
    Ignore the secratary, and go into the computer room there. On the
    table is a PC-100 Cyberdeck, pick it up. This is for use on the
    computer, though you can't use it on the one there. This can only be
    used on computers which say 'computer' in the bottom-left hand corner
    of the screen. Exit the building.
    Enter the next building. The first room has enemies, and the middle
    thing you see, like in your room is a phone, but you need a CredStick
    to use it, so enter the far room. Talk to the buisnessman. He sure
    does buisness, alright... Choose talk, and learn <Shadowrunner>. Go to
    ask about and ask about <Shadowrunner> to learn <Hiring>. Choose
    hiring to learn <Negotiation>. You can also buy Grenades (¥100) from
    him, by choosing <Firearm>. Leave, but you'll be back. 
    Outside, head northwest and you'll see a sign - CLUB. Enter. This is
    the Grim Reaper club. Go to the club manager, the guy whos serving,
    and talk to him. If you haven't already, learn <Shadowrunner> from
    choosing <Hitmen> and <Firearm> from <Shadowrunner>. Make sure you
    choose talk, and he'll give you an iced tea. Pick it up, and talk to
    the nearest guy, a buisnessman. Choose talk to learn <Heal>. Choose
    <Heal> to learn <Street Doc>. Now, go and talk to the orc. You can
    hire him, just choose <Hiring> and pay him ¥500. Talk to the Club
    Patron, north west of the orc, who seems tired. Go back to the club
    manager, and choose <Shadowrunner> to learn <Deckers> and <Hiring>.
    Choose <Decker> to learn <Datajack>. Okay, go back to the Club Patron,
    and give the Iced Tea to him (via pressing Y). Talk to him and choose
    talk to learn <Tickets>. Choose <Tickets> to learn <Maria> and
    <Grinder>. Choose Grinder to learn <Lone Star>. Exit. If you followed,
    you learnt 7 keywords here.
    Head back to the buisnessman who sells you grenades. Ask him about
    <Lone Star> and pay him ¥150 to get a Lone Star ID badge. Now, use
    the ID badge on you.
    ~ Area 1 : The Cemetery ~
    From the Grim Reaper Club, head north east up into the next level.
    Stick by the left gate to reach a entrance. Open it... and step into
    the Cemetery... In here, head up where you can be visibly seen, and
    where all the ghouls can see you. Agh! Ghouls! Anyway, they come out
    of the ground, and start eating you, so kill them before they come.
    Stay where you are, shooting they who come. Move around every so often
    to make more come up. After you have killed all you can, go up to one
    of the doors and use your scalpel on it. In the north-east crypt
    is nothing special, the north-west nothing special either, the
    south-west 1st crypt should be nothing special, although maybe some
    Nuyen does appear in those 3 crypts, and the last one.. has a shaman
    on the ground, who cannot speak. Get the slap patch and use it on
    him, that's why I told you not to use it. Use it on him, and you will
    learn <Shaman>. Choost talk and you learn <Magic Fetish>, and you
    also gain it. Examine the coffins, and exit. Start killing ghouls
    again. Keep killing ghouls till one of them drops a Ghoul Bone. Pick
    it up, and your work here is done.
    ~ Area 1 : Where will fate guide us? ~
    Go back and heal and use any karma on Firearm/Computer, back to your
    Apartment. Now, head to the fountain level and into the morgue where
    you first started, and into the room. You will find that the morticians
    are not scared of you, because you have shades on. Talk to the south
    mortician, and ask about <Grinder>, and he'll tell you you did a good
    job, and that he'll open the cabinet for you, so say yes. In the right
    cabinet is a Universal Credit Stick. In the left, are tickets to
    Maria's mercurial concert. Yay! If you talk to the other mortician,
    who moved, he tells you one of his stiffs (dead body) just got out
    and left, but he and the other guy was in the closet. That's was you,
    you stiff! Anyway. Head to the cemetery, but don't enter it, instead
    keep going on, till you hit a new building, enter it. This is The
    Cage, where the concert is being held. To the left is a CredStick
    Phone, use the Credstick on the Phone. Make sure you read the Ripped
    Note, with Sassie's number on it. Ring her. Wow. Geez. Anyway, choose
    talk and learn <calls>. Choose <Calls> and she tells you <Glutman>
    keeps talking, his number is 943-782. Ring Glutman, that requires you
    to exit, press Y again and use the credstick. This will ring the
    secatary of the building you took the Cyberdeck out of. Choose
    <Glutman> and she tells you he's at <The Cage>, where you are right
    now. Now, go up to the heavy bouncer and give the tickets to him
    (press Y) and he'll let you in. Go left and talk to the Heavy Dude,
    and choose talk to learn <Ghoul>. Okay, talk to the Shady Character
    north-east of the Heavy Dude, and he seems to know you. Choose talk
    and exit...
    Zip Gun Method
    NOTE: You *might* want to do this on your second time playing, as trying
    to do this if you are beginner might be a little bit hard.
    Thanks to the people at the GameFAQs Shadowrun Message Board. They found
    out the Zip Gun, a gun better than the Beretta gun, which is only 
    obtainable once in the game, and its either that or the Beretta. Well,
    sure the Admiral already knew, but since my of laziness i had no idea
    about it. This is the method to get the Zip-Gun, and this gun is more
    powerful, but less accurate than the Beretta. You can still pick up the
    Beretta when you escape from the caryards though. The Zip-Gun is 
    important if you aim to obtain all items.
    Note: Refer to normal walkthrough on where places are, and this is very
    short so you might want to
    When you wake up, get the scalpel and the slap patch. Head outside and
    learn the 2 keywords from the hitman, but do NOT follow him into the
    alley. Head into the building with the familiar dead man, pick up the
    memo, and the key on his body. Go to your apartment next, which is in
    the alleyway next to the building with the dead man, near the subway.
    In you apartment, no.6, pick up the shades, and the ripped note. It is
    important to obtain the 20 Nuyen in the filing cabinet. You might want
    to save as well. Head to the club, assuming you know where it is. Get
    the Iced Tea from the Bartender and give it to the patron who is down.
    Make sure you learn <Lone Star> and <Grinder>. 
    There are two methods of getting 150 nuyen for the Lone Star Badge.
    Follow the man into the alley, I've changed my mind :D. As the Orc kills
    him tak the beretta and kill the orc, remember to take his Worn Leather
    Jacket. You can go to the dog and talk now, now go back to the buisnessman
    who sells the badge. Sell (Give) the Beretta for him for some Nuyen. You
    will lose the Beretta but will get the badge without any hard work.
    Head to the cemetary,and pry open the doors with the scalpel.
    In the crypts nuyen is randomly placed inside the coffins, so when you
    examine them keep going in and out and examine the coffins, and you
    will hopefully get some nuyen, which come in packs of 50. Make sure
    you get past 150, and also watch your health. Go to the shaman, and use
    the slap patch, and learn the keywords. Go to the buisness man in the
    building across the club, and buy the Lone Star Badge off him for 150
    Nuyen. This way, you can collect the Beretta later, IF you really want
    to collect as many items as you can in this game.
    Use it, and go to the Morgue, and ask the south mortician about
    Grinder, and he will let you grab the Tickets and Credstick. Go to the
    Concert, and get yourself in. Talk to the dark green man and head to
    the caryards.
    I'm not sure about this part, either you wake up with the Zip-Gun or
    you get it off the King. You will probably wake up with the gun, but
    You will not know it. Make sure you equip it. Now you have the zip gun.
    Sadly though, you cannot sell it (well at least to the guy in Area 2,
    dunno about the weapon dealer at Dark Blade's hideout) to anyone.
    Note: I'm 75%+ sure that you can visit the hitman who gets killed by
    the Orc, and the dog, but you cannot get the Zip gun if you pick up his
    Beretta. Haven't tried it though.
    This will make the game the same, just that you might die a couple of
    times and have to start gaining more karma than if you used the normal
    On the boards, people have said that you can give the Beretta to Hamfist,
    the shadowrunner, if you want to to collect it later, but that will be
    more painful to build up nuyen that way than this way.
    ~ Area 2 : The Arena... ~
    You will see Jake blindfolded, walking and protected by two guards.
    Jake asks where they are taking him and why they blindfolded him. One
    of the men tells him that he'll be safe. He says that the place they
    are taking him to isn't five star but he'll like it. Now, you will
    appear in what looks like a junk yard. Yep, Five Star alright.
    Go down, and talk to the first lady you see. She regodnises you as the
    latest person to come to the <caryards>. Choose <carwayds> and she'll
    tell you the only way out is the <King>. Go down to the guy sitting
    next to the burning barrel. He asks you if he was a <Decker>. Choose
    talk to learn that he was the best in <The Matrix>. If you haven't,
    choose <Decker> to learn <Datajack>. Go talk to the Heavy Dude running
    around, and learn <Drake>. Go north west to street scum, and choose
    <King> to learn that you need <Nuyen> to get outta here. Go south
    west to a little boy. Talk to him. Stock up on the max Slap Patches
    (6), which costs ¥600. You will need it. Further on is the King, who
    will need ¥4000 from you to leave. No way you are gonna pay that
    $$$. Now you need to get some serious karma, man... You will need to
    get Strength and Charisma to Max which is level 6 (you will, in total
    need to get - starting from lowest level - 12 karma each I think).
    A real good place to get this, is to go and fight with rougue enemies
    south east of the heavy dud running around, there's enemies which
    always seem to spawn there. Yes, I know it takes a lot of time. If
    you want to, just keep killing enemies till you hit the 1000 Nuyen
    mark or 20 karma mark. 
    Remember, there's the bed.
    ~ Area 2 : How to get out of this dump...? ~
    At this point, I had 20 Karma points, so I went back and rested and
    thought about what I should increase. My stats were Body - 5 Strength
    - 5 and Charisma - 3. I boosted Body up to 6, and Strength to MAX,
    which is also 6 and used the rest on charisma. You should have more
    than 1000 Nuyen at this point, If not, go and get it.
    Now, go to the arena, which is from your bed, south-east, then
    north-west-west. Talk to the arena owner. Ask him about <Negotiation>.
    Pay him 1000¥ for the skill, which you will need. Choose talk...
    and battle.
    This is the arena, where you will fight form money and karma. Each
    level the stakes are higher and the money and karma get higher while
    the enemies get harder.

    At this point, if you haven't, fight the king, but make sure you
    have at least 8 Body, with all the karma and time you have you should
    be able to do this. Talk to the arena owner and choose <King> and yes.

    Tactic: This one is a tough cookie. You will need at least 80 Body
    like I said, otherwise you'll be dead, and 6 slap patches to spare
    on yourself (they heal 10 HP each time you use). What I usually do
    is stand and shoot. Keep firing till you nearly run out of your HP
    then use 4 slap patches, then keep persisting. If you really need
    to then use up the rest, but you should be able to defeat him, run
    and shoot is too hard, he's got a machine gun.
    Okay, once they're dead, that's good, although there are other enemies
    to fight, though they are too hard at this time, you will need more HP
    and better weapon and armor.
    ~ Area 2 : More Stuff ~
    There's a opportunity to get more armor and weapons. My recommendation,
    well I had about 7000¥ now, I would by a Ares Long Range Viper then 
    save up for a Mesh Wire Jacket.

    Okay, after you have bought, go back to the caryards where you spent
    time getting Karma. Instead, aim for 5000¥ nuyen. Don't worry, this'll
    pay off as this stuff goes to buying new stuff and completing the
    arena. If you don't like the Nuyen they give out, go to the subway
    north-west and then go into the north-east monorail. Outside at Area
    1 there should be a Hitman, if not, go north-east into a alleyway,
    near your apartment, and go back to the monorail entrance level, and
    a Hitman should be there. It's good place to get nuyen here, if the
    hitman doesn't appear on top, on the roof, then go back and come again
    and hopefully he'll be there. The Area Viper pistol is pretty good to
    use, and when you kill him the max nuyen you get off him is 60, and
    the lowest is 30. I think its 99% chance of it dropping money, I've
    never seen him NOT drop any money. A lot faster than the caryards,
    plus its near your apartment so you can heal easily.
    When you buy your Mesh Wire Jacket, equip it and sell your Leather
    Jacket for an amazing 1000¥!
    ~ Area 2 : Time to finish what we started. ~
    After you have gotten your Mesh Wire jacket and Ares Viper Long Range
    Pistol, go back to the arena, there's still enemies to fight, harder
    ones as well!

    At the point when you get to the Gang Leader, you should have about

    easy way is to sell your Ares Viper for 2000 then you will have about
    15000, if you sold your Leather Jacket that is, then you can get the
    much needed T-250! Also, at this point you should be able to get up
    to Body 10.

    here. Get out of the caryards, the the shop near the weapon shop is..
    the shaman shop! 
    A Funny Thing to Do (before entering the shaman shop)
    Look at the two guys to the left of the shaman shop, talking away
    happily, and you can't talk to them. What happens if we pull the ol'
    gun on them? Nothing... But, what happens if we shoot one of them?
    He dies! Now, what about the other guy... he seems to be talking to
    a dead body, or himself....! An absolutely hilarious thing to do.
    Go in the shop, come back out, and he's talking to NOTHING! HAHAHA!
    AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, that's just too funny. Stays there till you
    finish the game. Actually, stays there forvever.
    Go in the shaman shop and talk to the shaman to learn <talismans>.
    Ask about it to learn <shaman> and his/her number, 416-822. In the
    shop is a Stake, 2500 Nuyen, Black Bottle, 6000, Black and Blue Bottle,
    2000, all up is 10500 Nuyen. I bought all of this, its useful for
    later stages of the game.
    Note: Make sure you have more or at least (not less than) 2000¥ to
    spare. If you have less than 2000¥, then go and rack up that money
    somewhere else, before advancing onto this next part. Important.
    Okay, now go south-east one level to what seems like an empty level
    with one woman walking around, but there's a alleyway on the north
    east side. Enter it and a shop. The guy introduces you to Ed's
    Patch'n'Fix. Ask him about <Datajack> and learn a quick <Examination>
    only costs 500¥. Okay, <Examinantion> me! When he starts to do his
    stuff, he stuffs up... and says he let off the <cortex bomb>. He
    says that there's a <cortex bomb> attached to your head computer,
    and you need to find another street doc! Ahhh! Leave to the monorail,
    and instead of taking the one to area 1, take the north-west monorail
    to area 3. You have 30 Hours left till it explodes... no, actually,
    ~ Area 3 : Get this out of my head! ~
    Once you hop off the train, no minutes have been ticking on your damn
    Cortex Bomb, which is a relief. When you hop off, go into the next
    level and find yourself getting shot at by 2 Ferocious Orcs. Well,
    they're quite easy now if you have your handy T-250 Shotgun and Mesh
    Wire Jacket. Kill the left one then the right one. As you kill the
    right one, you enter a conversation. Choose talk to learn about <Rust
    Stilletos>. He then dies. Pick up the money, which on the one who
    talk to you, 100+ nuyen and on the other one 30+ nuyen. Also, take the
    Iron key one of them has. Go down the stairs... and the dog is waiting
    for you. The dog says that you need to seek him or you will be lost.
    Well... what does that mean?
    Anyway, you have a certain amount of time left. Quick! Exit the train
    station via the south east side, which you will end up in a market.
    Exit this through the north east crossing. Be careful of the cars
    driving on the road. You should be at a building, DO NOT GO UP THE
    STAIRS. Instead, go south east along the walk way to another market.
    Watch out for the snipers in the building. Enter the building.
    Talk to the secratary and ask about <Cortex Bomb>. She'll get you the
    doctor if you pay 2000¥ to her. Go in, and somehow the street doc
    knows your name. Weird. Ask about Corte Bomb and then exit, and he
    will remove it from your head. After that he says that he has
    <Cyberware> on the table you might want to buy. After you get off,
    the doctor says that he's removed the cortex bomb from your <Head
    Computer>, and whatever is in there must be valuable. Go to talk
    and learn <Matrix Systems>. Now, go to the table, south west. There's
    Wired Reflexes, which costs 15000 and Skill Software, 3000. Buy the
    Skill Software, and come back later for the Wired Reflexes.
    Okay. Make sure you have bought the Blue Bottle, because you will now
    need to back track to Area 1, via the monorails. Go back to the
    fountain, and 'use' the potion bottle on the fountain, making the
    blue bottle full of water. Okay, now remember the corner building
    you got the Cyberdeck from? Well, go there, and use the Cyberdeck on
    the computer you got it from.
    A - Recieve Data
    B - Blow orange blocks up, Combat with ICs (move around the IC so it
        acts differently)
    X - Jack out of the Matrix
    This will be your first time. Make sure each time you step and face
    something press B, just in case there's an IC there. If so, you will
    blow it up or you will fail comabtting it, so try again. But the bad
    thing about this is that it takes a minor bit of life away each time
    you press B. Your objective is to get to the light blue cubes and
    press A to recieve the data. After you have done that, press X to jack
    out and you will recieve computer files: Glutman 7732-1528-4475 and
    1000 Nuyen. Then you will get a Data File, which is labled DF_BADNEWS.
    Read it, and it says that the 'courier' is missing, and that Drake
    went after him. Who...?
    Anyway, you can go back to Area 3 now.
    ~ Area 3 : Rust Stilettos ~
    When you get off at the Daley Station, exit here via the south west
    exit. Its a narrow exit if you are wondering where it is. From there
    head south east into a 4 way intersection. Hm.. this looks familiar.
    Its... ahh... figure it out for yourself. Take the east path at the
    4 way. Then, at the 3-way, go south. You will be at some docks. Kill
    the Massive Orc, and head further onto the pier. Talk to the boat
    driver to learn <docks>. Get off the pier, and to the big crates. On
    of them has a door, open it. Inside, kill the mage. Jack the computer
    past the glass door, and you will get a Data File - DF_MT_AI and
    the Matrix account - 6345-2276-6376 and 2000 Nuyen. Nice. Read the
    Data File. Exit this room, and go north west to another part of the
    docks. The first door is locked, but the second is unlocked. Inside,
    is what looks like a dog spirit. It will tell you to bring items
    of the following: One of the Earth, One of a Creature and One of a
    Man. You will get this later. Exit. Furhter along the docks is the
    last door. Enter, and at the north west corner is a 'loyal citizen'.
    Approach her and she will turn into a Octopus. Just stand and shoot
    because this octopus is just too easy. Pick up 2000 Nuyen and use
    the Black Bottle on the ink left on the ground.
    Now, backtrack to the 4 way intersection, you should know where it
    is. Take the south path. Inside the first building you see is a
    hotel. This is where you will be staying. It costs 50 Nuyen to hire a
    room, its the first one. After you have spend karma and regenerated
    HP. Okay, back at the 4 way intersection, go west, to back near the
    train station. Keep going past and you will hit a club, Wasteland
    Club (enter it). Kill the Ferocious Orc. Go down the stairs after
    following the path. Talk to the bartender, and choose Talk to learn
    <Ice>. Go out of the Wastelands Club, go north east, and some guy
    will tell you to get off their turf, Rust Stilettos Turf. I only
    fought 3 guys, 2 Heavy Dudes and 1 who threw grenades. Whipp out that
    Iron Key you got from the Ferocious Orc and open the door.
    As soon as you get in there, whip out the gun and shoot any gang
    member whos throwing grenades at you, THEN go for the ferocius orc.
    Pick up the Rusted Steel Crowbar one of the Ferocious Orc drops. Okay,
    the next room is harder. I think there should be 1 gang member, 3
    Heavy Dudes and 1 Gang Leader. Kill the 1 Gang Member then the 3 Heavy
    Dudes, then go for the gang leader in the corner. You might die here
    so beware. When you kill the gang leader, you will enter a conversation
    before he dies. Okay, you learn <Drake>. Go out, and he drops a pass-
    word: DRAKE0065 I think. 
    ~ Area 3 : Kitsune, Cat Woman ~
    Backtrack to the 4 Way intersection, along the way to the Hotel. Keep
    going furhter after you have rested, and go around the gates and talk
    to the bouncer. He has heard you took care of Rust Stilettos, and made
    yourself worthy of a shadowrunner. Choose talk and pay him 50 Nuyen
    to get in. Okay, inside the Jagged Nails Club, Go stand at the corner,
    watching the woman sing, right near the Video Phone. When she hits the
    corner, get your hand out and choose talk. If done correctly, she will
    teleport - !!! to you. Talk to her. Choose talk and she tells you she
    is the one who saved you from death. Good. Choose <Dog> to get
    yourself some Enchanted Leaves. Then, hire her for 2400 to 3000 Nuyen,
    depending on what level your leadership is. Go and talk to the
    Bartender, north east to learn <Kitsune>, choose talk first.
    NOTE: Keep trying and trying; you WILL get it eventually. It is impor-
    tant to stand at the corner, OR AT THE WALL WHERE THE VIDEO PHONE IS.
    Okay, now exit. Find your way back to the docks, go east at the
    intersection and south at the 3-way. It's the 3rd door. If following
    my walkthrough you should have Enchanted Leaves, Ghoul Bone and Dog
    Collar. When you have done that, the dog shaman will teach you the
    heal spell and talk to you. Choose talk to learn about the <Rat>
    Shaman. You must destroy him, and you will find the entrance where
    souls rest... at a cemetery. Not the one in area 1 though. You can't
    get any more spells, though if you read you do have the right
    requirements. You need to kill the Rat Shaman before anything else.
    ~ Area 3 : The Insane Jester ~
    Okay, make sure you have Kitsune the Shadowrunner here, otherwise if
    you do not do this next part without her, you will never be able to
    hire her again.
    Cure her to max after you waste the orcs out at the docks. Okay, go
    up the stairs and exit the docks. Keep following the north east path.
    You will soon see a cemetery, 'where souls rest'. You will need to get
    into there. Okay, up into the next level, follow the path around the
    corner, which should lead north west, back into the market near the
    train station, rather, outside the train station. Head around another
    bend following the rail, where you will go into a narrow path, which
    should look like you are going back. If you don't follow me, from the
    market entrance where you came from, head south west till you see a
    narrow path and then go down that. You will end up at the entrance
    of the cemetery, hopefully the gate is unlocked for you. How nice.
    Kill the ghouls that approach, and go north east into the sewers.
    It is your priority in here to keep Kitsune alive. If she dies, you
    will have to go back to the club and go get her again. Kill the red
    rats that approach, but they shouldn't be much of a problem. The
    black rats shouldn't be hard either. When you hit the split, which
    shouldn't be far into the sewers, ignore the left turn as there's
    nothing but trouble you need. Becareful not to shoot Kitsune when you
    try to aim for the rats. Becareful of the next room because the
    rats shoot this stuff which looks like crap at you, which hurts and
    there's quite a lot per minute... >_<. Agh. Anyway, a good strategy
    to not lose so much HP is to fight one at a time, and make sure you
    can only see one Giant Crapper Rat at a time (what I name it). Then
    you won't get 3 of those rats shooting crap at you. Remember to
    heal Kitsune once you have defeated those.
    Okay, there's another sort of fork here. From the start of where the
    crapper rats were, to the north west is stairs, which lead to another
    level, with pointless rats. If you want to get 2 Karma for defeating
    5 rats i think, then you can do that although Kitsune will MOST LIKELY
    die. Okay, don't take it. Keep going and there are 2 rats, crapper
    rats. Kill them, hopefully you gain 3 Karma. In the next level,
    kill the 2 rats which shoot the crap at you, then heal Kitsune.
    Okay, if you notice, there's platforms, leading up to... The Rat
    Shaman! Agh, you gotta kill him! Anyway, scour the ouside and kill
    all the rats, then go for the Rat Shaman. Heal Kitsune often, as she
    probably only has half the HP you do. After you kill him, you get
    6 Karma, and a spirit arises from the body.
    You enter a conversation with the <Jester Spirit>. He'll tell you
    that you are no match for the Jester. Exit. If you have Kitsune, then
    you will enter a conversation. Ask about <Jester Spirit> and learn
    <Dark Blade>. Ask about <Dark Blade> to learn about <Vampires>.
    Pick up the nuyen the Rat Shaman left behind, I got 3000 nuyen. Yay!
    If you didn't have Kitsune with you, you can learn all the keywords
    from her in the Jagged Nails club. Get her down and ask her about the
    ~ Area 3 : Dark Blades, Drake's Handymen ~
    NOTE: You don't have to have Kitsune anymore.
    NOTE: Also, you must buy the Stake from the Shaman if you haven't.
    You have to go to the Jagged Nails Club, where Kitsune is. It doesn't
    matter if you have Kitsune or not. Go to the Video Phone inside and
    then call the Talisman. Ask him about <Dark Blade>, to learn that
    the leader is evil, and not to fall victim to his lies, and not to
    phone them without intentions. Phone number he gives you for the Dark
    Blade hangout is 826-661. Ask him about <Magic Fetish>, and Johan, the
    Dark Blade guy. When you ask him, he says that his employer might be
    interested in buying it. He says that he will open the gate for you.
    Exit, and go north east to the club manager who seems also to be a
    bartender. Ask him about <Vampires> to learn about <strobes>. Go to
    the bartender south west and ask about <strobes>. He says that you 
    must becareful, they're bright, and once you are done with them to
    bring them back. (!) This might answer why you lose them (!)
    Follow your way back to the 3 way intersection near the docks (take
    the east at the 4-way intersection). Head north till you can't go
    any further, and there should be a gate east of you that's opened.
    That's the Dark Blade's Hangout. Enter in, and head all the way south
    east, past the entrance, till you hit a fence. You should see a little
    alleyway there, which leads to the second and last weapon shop.
    Not much here, later there wil be some stuff. Here's what there is:

    go up to the mage and ask him about <Magic Fetish> and he will tell 
    you Vladmir asks for him, and to go left. Go up and talk to Vladmir.
    There's something weird about him... Anyway, ask him about <Jester
    Spirit>. He will tell you about it if you give him the <Magic Fetish>.
    Go and give him it, and then ask him about <Jester Spirit>. He calls
    you a fool, but you must utter his true name in front of him. He lies
    in <Bremerton>. His real name is <Nirwanda>. Okay, now he changes
    and passes through the wall...!...
    If you bust in...
    The Mage asks you where you are going and he starts to shoot at
    you. Ouchies. Anyway, kill him and pick up the good nuyen. Head right
    around the corner and kill the enemies there, the samurai warrior
    has a mesh jacket on him. Remember to pick it up so you can sell it.
    Go in the room opposite this one. Kill the enemies and pick the nuyen
    The right computer you can jack into. Use your cyberdeck on the
    computer. This is easy. Go right and press B on the orange thing,
    then go up and press B everytime you step one square. Remeber to keep
    pressing B if you are combatting ICs. Do that for the top and bottom.
    Exit to get Dark Blade's Account - 8967-3434-2745 and 10000 Nuyen!
    Jack the left computer as well, use your cyberdeck again.
    Also easy, just press B, but watch out for your health. If you run low
    exit and use slap patches on yourself to get the health back up. There's
    3 data blocks here. You will get a Data File, DF_DB_Jester. It says
    that Nirwanda isn't his real name. Agh!
    Anyway, go to the right room and on one of the book shelves is a
    Bronze Key. Pick it up, that's important. Now, head to the room you
    haven't been to; the middle room. If in here there are enemies, kill
    them and then head on, though there shouldn't be any enemies. In the
    next room, which is the kitchen, kill the Samurai Warrior and 'Cruel
    Man'. They should be a pushover so don't worry. Head behind a wall
    in the kitchen to a gate which can be opened by using the bronze key.
    The wall is at the upper right corner leading to the lower right.
    Go downstairs. You will be in burial place. There are ghouls here,
    and they are annoying. You can run past them, though they WILL deal
    damage to you. Refer to Gwydion's helpful note here on how to get
    some useful karma:
    "If you're not strong enough (or far enough along) to
    repeatedly kill the gold naga for karma, then try the ghouls in the
    Dark Blade crypts. Go to the far end, and stand behind the last 
    casket. If you do it right, the ghouls that appear will be unable
    to walk past the casket to get to you, leaving them as easy targets. 
    They occasionally give as much as 2 karma each, so be patient and
    you'll have plenty."
    NOTE: Lots of Gamers (too many to list) have suggested that you stand in
          a spot where the ghouls constantly come and with a turbo controller,
          constantly hit the ghouls, without Jake moving or the Ghouls move
          their direction of walking. Leave it for a day, as suggested, go
          out and watch a movie, etc, and come back to some lots of karma,
          which did not require much work. This method of gaining karma is
          more suitable for players who feel like they do not want to sit
          at the TV Screen.

    Okay, depending on how many ghouls you encounter. And kill. You can 
    gain (anywhere from) between 1-7 points of Karma. I found this to be 
    true through numerous ventures into the crypts. It all depends on how 
    long you sit behind the casket, and how many (hordes) of the un-dead 
    you manage to take down in a single raid. The ghoul appearence rate 
    differs each time they re-spawn. So the number of Karma you gain 
    (therefore) differs. So to speak. The highest set I've gained so far, 
    is 9 K-pts. So, it's all win-win, just at different level of encounters.

    I was bored as anything today so I was looking at walkthroughs of 
    this old classic and found yours.  I must say you did a really good job 
    of tying it all together.
    One little note:
    Karma in that game isn't random.  The standard bad guys (not bosses, not
    Volcano/Aneki guards) that you kill all give you 1/4 karma point each.
    The karma points aren't rewarded until after the music stops (ie all 
    bad guys on screen are dead).  Since this is the case, if you fight 
    a whole bunch of normal bad guys on one screen you can earn a ton 
    of karma at once.
    Actually, I used to level up in the crypts at the dark blade, in the 
    lower left hand corner of any crypt in the bottom section.  Only one 
    spot on the screen produces a zombie that can reach you.  Leave at 
    least one ghoul alive the whole time, for as long as you can tolerate, 
    and you can earn potentially infinite karma.  Using this technique 
    I was rewarded at one point 168 karma at one time.  You can pretty 
    easily max out body, magic, firearms, every spell, computer,
    negotiations, and leadership this way.
    I know I am probably boring you. Great job here again, and have a 
    good day.
    Head on to the next level. Here's where most people get stuck, you
    must go down the stairs. The level WILL look like there's only one
    exit, but there's two. If you choose the one which looks like its
    going back, then you will reach a dead end. Go back and to your lower
    right is another crypt, in which a little bit further to see some
    stairs. That's where you have to go down.
    Beware here, the ghouls here are stronger. Make sure if you haven't
    got full strength you go back and heal up at the hotel. As you go down
    and appear, run left and around to Vladmir, he's the non-ghoul, non-
    skull throwing, cape-wearing vampire. Go up to him and press Y and
    use the Strobe, and the ultra powerful ghouls will die and you will
    make Vladmir temporarily blind. Note: You must use strobes right
    in front/really near of Vladmir for it to work.
    Next, go up to him and use Stake. If you haven't, choose <Jester
    Spirit> to learn <Nirwanda> and <Bremerton> when you enter the
    conversation. Exit, and use the stake once more on him, to enter
    ANOTHER conversation, different though. Choose <Jester Spirit> and
    Vladmir will confess all, that Nirwanda is the fake name, and
    <Laughlyn> is his real name, though still resides in <Bremerton>.
    For the last time, use the Stake on him to kill him and gain 4 Karma
    and 5000 Nuyen. Yay. Exit.
    ~ Area 3 : The Mysterious Ship, Bremerton ~
    With that Mesh Jacket you got, go to the second weapon shop, and
    'give' the mesh jacket to him, and he'll buy it off you for 2500 Nuyen.
    Sweet, you got it for free anyway ^_^. Okay, you should have more
    than 15000 Nuyen at this point. Go back to the Street Doc,
    Dr.Maplethorpe I think. To refresh memory, go back to market outside
    train station, head north east across the crossing, south east along
    pavement, enter building, choose <Cyberware> when you talk to the
    secratary and you'll be back in. On the tray, south west, should be
    some Boosted Reflexes. Buy them, 15000 Nuyen. They are very helpful;
    they double the rate of fire. He's out of merchandise for the moment.
    Go to the docks, and the dog shaman. He will tell you some stuff, bla
    bla... and then exit to gain the Powerball spell. Go back in to learn
    you need items of his pack... dog. So you have 1, Dog Collar. Go to
    the guy whom you learnt <docks> off, and there will be a ferocious
    orc there. It will be a tough battle, kill it and pick up the
    explosives it carries. Go back and heal if out of HP. Talk to the boat
    owner and choose <Bremerton> to learn that the <Mermaids> are taking
    the seas making it dangerous to travel.
    Head back to wastelands club (south-west exit of train station, then
    north west west). Talk to the club manager whos the bartender to learn
    that <Ice> was delivered. Choose <ice> to learn that the guy in the
    corner sells it. This guy is in the north-west corner, he's NOT the
    orc, but a human - 'busy man'. He will sell you a ton of ice at the
    low price of 100 Nuyen. He wants you to choose a place where you want
    it dumped - you can't choose <Bremerton> so choose <docks>, and he
    will accept and do it after the song finishes.
    Go back to the docks and ask the buy about <Bremerton> and he'll let
    you hire the boat for 1000 Nuyen, and you can travel to Bremerton
    and back for as many times as you want. Note: Half of this will cover
    Bremerton. The other half will be in 'Inside the Bremerton'.
    Okay, when you get on the boat, head through your normal straight
    forward route, and kill the samurai warrior on the way. Don't worry
    about trying to open the doors, they are just a waste of time as they
    are locked or rusted. Next part, head and kill the Gang Member and
    Gang Leader, then head up the stairs, and back in the direction you
    came from, where you will kill 2 more Gang Members. Now, in the next
    level, kill the Gang Member and the Doggie. Pick up the Dog Tag that
    the Doggie dropped.
    Okay, now that you have the Dog Tag, go back to the docks, and the
    Dog shaman. Learn the spell Summon Spirit off him and learn you need
    for the next spell - Armor you need something off a Warm and cold
    blodded creature. Summon Spirit is a very handy spell. Go back if you
    need to and heal, spend your karma on the Magic Spells.
    You can if you want to, build up your karma. Though you can't really
    do it fast, a good way is to refer to Gwydion's useful tip.
    ~ Area 3 : Inside the Bremerton ~
    Go back to the Bremerton. On the upper deck, where you kill the doggie,
    on the last door, it isn't Rusted Shut. Go to your item section and
    pull out the crowbar to pry open the door. Enter. Inside, kill the
    poison ooze, they have about 2 HP so they are easy. You will notice
    that the door below won't budge. On the upper floor is a switch on
    the left wall which will open it.
    This will sort of be a maze and a tough time. Through the door are two
    options, up the stairs or not. Go up the stairs, along the platform
    to end up in what looks like descending stairs. Kill any Heavy Dudes
    or enemies that are here, its random, and head down. You will be
    fighting Ferocious Orcs and Heavy Dudes. Then the Massive Orcs at
    about level 3. The lowest level is a pushover, there should be only
    1 Ferocious Orc, which will drop a Safe Key and Nuyen. Pick up
    the safe key and use it on the safe to open it (which resembles a
    fridge, Dataeast too lazy to make new set...). Grab the Detonator,
    which goes with the explosives.
    Make your way back up and kill the Ferocious Orcs, Massive Orcs and
    Heavy Dudes, till you get back to the options, and head along to the
    next level, where you will get to choose options again...
    Kill the Massive Orc if there is, first. Head through the middle where
    the Orc was, to encounter a black slime. Kill it easily and it will
    leave Toxic Water behind. Collect it with your Potion Bottles. Head
    into the door past the Black Toxic Slime.
    You will be in another descending stair level again. Kill any enemies
    that are here, and go down into another descending level. Okay,
    kill the Ferocious Orc if there is one. Notice there's a switch next
    to you. You can't do anything, so descend once more, and you will find
    another switch next to the door again. Flip it to lock the chamber
    down the bottom, then head back up and flip the switch to fill it
    with water, full pressure. Then, flip it back again to Flush the 
    water out and open the air lock, and enter the room that you locked
    before, to find that you killed the Orcs that were in there. Yay!
    Note: If you don't do this and try to kill the orcs you will surely
    kill yourself. In the room, there's a safe, in which the safe key
    WILL not work, or the crowbar. Go in your inventory and find that
    the Detonator and the Explosives and made the Time Bomb, for quite
    some time now, and use it on the door. Stand back and.... BOOM!
    The door blasts open, and get the Toxic Green Dissolver Bottle in
    there. Head back up, and kill anybody who stands in your way.
    Go back to the option choosing of where you want to go again. Head
    right and ignore the first door, and take the second. As soon as you
    enter quickly avoid the green slime there. I don't think you can kill
    it. In the next room head right, in which you will reach another level
    where there is 1 gang member and 1 Gang leader. Waste them both. Go
    and press the switch for the upper door to open, the switch is right
    near the upper door. Head into the next level, and into the obvious
    door to the ever confusing level.
    Many people wonder here why they cannot defeat these green slimes. The
    whole purpose of the Green Toxic Dissolver is to kill the green slimes.
    I've had this as a FAQ but I can't be bothered putting it up in the
    FAQ section. Maybe later. Okay, now flip the 3 switches the green
    toxic slimes where blocking, to open various doors ahead. In this
    room, it is hard to avoid damage. It has grenades in which you can't
    avoid some. Try to only hit two along the way to the portal thing.
    The best minimum damage I've gotten from that is 1. Enter the portal.
    ~ Area 3 : Kill the Jester! ~
    You end up in some out of earth looking place. Highly recommended
    is to go back to the hotel and heal up; you probably got a beating
    from the grenades. Moving on, watch out for the Ghouls which appear
    behind you. Remember that you have spells to cast to kill these,
    though is limited (due to the fact you probably didn't upgrade your
    Magic Stat). Ignore the fact that they are there for the moment and
    go and kill the Naga in the middle which throws some sort of explosives
    at you. When you kill it, you gain 4 karma. Head around the outside
    of where the Naga was, to reach stairs leading down to the next
    In this level, shoot the bubble piles till they stop shooting out
    bubbles. Dodge the lone bubbles ahead and shoot the other bubble pile.
    Again, dodge the lone bubbles, and head on. In this next level, move
    out of the middle, and find that if you didn't you will get hurt by
    magic. Go up till you reach some hands.
    This is the Jester. It gathers up balls of blue, and shoots one at
    a time, till it runs out. You need to dodge them otherwise you will
    get hurt. The Jester gathers around 10 balls of magic at a time, so 
    you will have little to do what you need. You need to talk to him,
    killing him by gun is impossible, as stated before. After he wastes the
    second 10 balls of blue fire, go into the middle, and press B and
    go to talk. Choose <laughlyn> and you will automatically win, killing
    him and gaining 7 karma. Yay!
    >>>  Note: Joe Red suggests that you might have to actually shoot him
    a couple of times BEFORE you actually can talk to him! That might clear
    up the trouble people had trying to talk to him.
    Talk to the dying spirit. Ask him about <Drake> to learn that Drake
    lives in a <volcano>. Exit and pick up the Jester Spirit's mask. Now,
    enter the portal and exit. Go to the hotel and you should have a lot
    of karma. First, spend it on magic and then on spells. These are my
    stats at this point. 
    Powerball/Heal/Summon Spirit. 19/8/6/5/5/5/3/3/3/3/4.
    Not very good but it will do. You will want to get some nuyen now.
    There's a very good trick in the tips section, but I will put it here,
    before the next break. Go to the Jagged Nails Club, and go ask the
    upper bartender about <Vampires> to learn the lost keyword <Strobes>
    then go to the lower bartender and get the <Strobes> off him. Go back
    to the Dark Blade hangout and to where Vladmir is. He's returned, and
    you need to use the stake TWICE on him, to the SECOND conversation.
    Learn back <Laughlyn> and <Bremerton> from asking about <Jester Spirit>
    and then kill him. That's the only way you can kill him over and over,
    but to make him reappear again you must go back to the bremerton,
    and go through the portals till you go through the jester spirit's
    portal in his world, then Vladmir will return.
    Now, no matter of what circumstances, go to the Dog Shaman and learn
    the INVISIBILITY spell off him. You must do this. Okay, outside of
    the dog shaman, head south east to some mages whom you will kill,
    and stairs which lead down to a mini dock, with another mage, kill
    him and go down and pick up the Mermaid Scales.
    To get the karma, just stay in the crypt and follow Gwydion's useful
    strategy, I find it VERY useful.
    ~ Area 3 : Getting to Drake ~
    Ooh, now go back to Dr.Maplethorpe, the second street doc, remember
    to ask the secratary about <Cyberware> to let you in. Hopefully if you
    have been following the walkthrough there will be a new piece of
    cyberware, the Dermal Plating (or armor, yes I am not American, i don't
    spell it Armour). It costs 6,000 Nuyen, YOU MUST BUY IT. It adds 2
    points to your armor.
    Go to Drake Hangout's Weapon Shop (the second one). There's new
    merchandise, which is...
    'Heckler Kock 277' assault rifle
    ———> If you want to buy, but you might want to save up <———
    Cost- 24,000 Nuyen
    Partial Body Suit
    ———> Not the best but you'd want to buy <———
    Cost- 20,000 Nuyen
    Get the Partial Body Suit, but you can't sell your Mesh Jacket,
    because you have already sold one >_<. Make sure you have the Partial
    Body Suit and Dermal Armor because you will need it. Plus, anyone on
    the streets can't hurt you.... heh.
    Okay, head to the building which has the big letters DRAKE on it.
    Its right of the 4 way intersection. Enter the building. Make sure
    you have maxed out the skill Computer here, which the max is 6 I
    think. Inside... you would of gotten the password - DRAKE0065 from
    the Rust Stilettos. Okay, go to the computer and jack it, and the
    password allows you to get in. This computer sim is very easy, and get
    the green crystal and jack out to enable the elevator. 
    Second Floor - Enemies : 4x Samurai Warrior - Very easy. You should
    have Partial Body Suit + Dermal Plating, right? That means since the
    armor rating is so high you can just stand and shoot without getting
    yourself any damage done to you. Alright, maybe 1 or 2 damage. If they
    get close to you they will hurt you. Okay, after you have cleared
    the enemies, go to the north computer and jack it. It's harder than
    others, and its got six data blocks. Jack it and get 8000 Nuyen and
    Drake's account number - 3458-5467-8547 and a data file - DF_DR 1-4.
    You'll need to get the other 3 parts. Jack the other computer, south
    to enable the third floor. The elevator going up is on the left side.
    Third Floor - Enemies : 3x Samurai Warrior 1x Mage - Harder this level,
    because the space is more limited than usual, leaving you exposed to
    a lot of damage. Kill the enemies as soon as you can otherwise you
    will find yourself dead. Okay, there's two computers to jack, one near
    the board (south west of the elevators), and one of the computers on
    the right side of the wall (far right). You will need to jack the
    second computer mentioned first, so that you can get to the other one.
    The first computer you jack will have 6 data blocks you need to collect
    then the second one you jack you will need to press B at the bright
    yellow thing to open it up. Then go south to the 2 data blocks and
    retieve the info to open up the other gate. Grab the other 2 data
    blocks and jack out to get another data file. Sorry to tell you this
    now but there's a third computer, in the sections in the middle of
    the 2 sides, south of the elevator. Jack it, open the lines (use B)
    and retrieve I think the 4 data blocks (or 3) and the green crystal
    to activate the elevator. Remeber you need to jack the other computers
    Fourth Floor - Enemies : 4x Samurai Warrior - First off, kill all
    the Samurai Warriors, in the tight space. You might be running out
    of HP here, but anyway, after you kill them go into the little office
    south-west of you. Jack the computer. This will be tough, 6 data
    blocks and a lot of ICs to combat. Do your best, but if your HP runs
    dangerously low then go to the hotel and heal. Go to another computer,
    it is easy to spot because it is alone and not surrounded by the glass
    windows. Jack the computer, and go north and grab the 3 data blocks,
    and the last one should open the lines. Go back and go right and
    retrieve the green crystal to go to the...
    Fifth Floor - Enemies : 3x Samurai Warrior 1x Mage - Okay, watch out
    for the samurai warrior right next to you, then the 2 samurai warriors
    and the mage which pop up to the south east. The first lone computer
    not surrounded by glass you see, the last one on the right should
    be a computer you can jack into. Open the lines, with B at the phone-
    book. Retrieve the green crystal (and destroy the guard ICs if ness-
    essary). This will deactivate the level 6 Node and more importantly,
    enable the elevator. There is another computer you can jack into,
    it is in the north west block of computers. Get all of it to gain
    the last of the data files and you will get 10000 Nuyen (Drake's
    account: 2291-6758-9872). The data files add up to DF_DR_VOLCANO,
    which gives you drake's number, 233-435.
    Sixth Floor - Enemies : 3x Samurai Warrior 1x Mage - Firstly, kill
    the samurai warrior in the glass room with you, then with the mages
    and other samurai warriors. Then, use the credstick you have on the
    phone near you. You can talk to Drake if you want to, who turns out
    to be a dragon. Agh. Head to the north-east corner to the sole
    computer, and jack it. Activate the elevator.
    Rooftop - Enemies : 2x Sentry - Take out the sentries easily. It
    shouldn't hurt taking the damage, but for the sake of it go back to
    the hotel when you have destroyed the sentries, because you WILL need
    it. Come back when you are ready, and go to the helicopter pilot
    and make him fly you to Drake's <Volcano>.
    Author's Note: If you are wondering, you could of gone to Drake's HQ
    a long time ago, exactly when you finished of Rust Stilettos (the gang
    which wasted you at the start) because you picked up the crucial pass-
    word the leader had. But, if you managed to get to the rooftop of this
    building, you would of found you couldn't of gone anywhere, because
    you needed to know the ever important <volcano> keyword. Hope this note
    clears a little bit of things people are wondering about this, and
    thanks for reading. Also another very important note is that you cannot
    carry strobes into the volcano without losing them permanately. Make
    sure you kill Vladmir and lose the strobes otherwise you will not be
    able to gain them again. If you don't carry strobes in, then you are
    fine, you can keep using it over and over.
    ~ Area 3 : It's hot in here... ~
    Normal Level : Head through the door you see. Now, head around to a
    sign which says 'sub-level 0', and enter the door to go down to...
    Sub-Level 1 : Light Security : When you get off of the
    elevator, head south east and meet up with a troll decker, who can't
    seem to kill you if you have Dermal Plating + Partial Bodysuit.
    Kill it and grab a lot of nuyen off him. Go back and enter the door
    right of the sub-level 0, and go to the end. You can kill the poor old
    scientist here, but that's cruel. Anyways, the computer... or terminal
    there is not accessable. Go out, and head north west around. Kill the
    troll decker here, and head north east past the door with the alarm
    on top of it. Head around the corner, ignoring the room then onto the
    next level. Head into the first door you see (with an alarm on the
    top of it). The computer in which the scientist is using is accessable,
    so whip out the ol' cyberdeck and hack it, jack it, whatever. This
    computer partly allows you to travel to sub level 1. Okay, now head
    out of the room and travel south east, to the door with 'sub level 1'
    on it. Go south-west all the way down to another room. When you enter,
    DO NOT ADVANCE. Instead, whip out the ol' gun and shoot the scientist
    at the end, otherwise if you don't he'll sound the damn alarm. Hack/
    Jack the computer and destroy the green crystal to obtain a data file
    and to gain access to Sub level 2. Go back to the elevator and go to...
    Sub Level 2 : Medium Security : When you get off the elevator, head
    south-west into a door, where you will find a computer terminal and
    a scared green scientist. This terminal is hard; it boasts 5 data
    blocks even before you can open the lines. Then there's one more, and
    then when you jack out you get nothing. Head out and around to another
    room, where the alarm will automatically be sounded, and you will face
    a scientist with some grenades =). Shoot him from a far distance. Head
    into the first door you see, and jack the computer to gain access to
    Sub Level 3. This level is striaghtforward and easy, till the part
    where you face the scientist shooting you through a sentry. Ouch. You
    can't destroy the sentry this time, but can kill the scientist control-
    ling it, and that will stop the gun. Head to...
    Sub Level 3 : Heavy Security : Once you head and hop off the elevator,
    look at your Health Points. If its below half, you can either go back
    to the hotel and replenish your strength or just cast a spell (Heal)
    on yourself. Just cast the spell. Go and kill the Troll Decker there
    and pick up the nuyen. Go and take the south route here. In this
    level is another grenade crazy scientist, kill him before he kills
    himself (^_^). Go and head to the south east doors, which lead to a
    computer which you can jack into. This is by far the toughest computer
    you've hacked into. This has long routes just to open lines, and lots
    of combatting ICs. Jack out when your health gets low, then try again.
    Jack out when you have collected all the data blocks, and you obtain
    25,000 Nuyen from Drake's account (3259-8372-4755). Yeh! The data
    file you obtained (DF_AI-END) is a data file which suggests that Drake
    isn't working alone, and there's a someone else working. Go out of
    this room via the right door, and keep heading north east till you hit
    a room; enter it. You can jack 3 computers here, one contains a data
    file - DF_DS-AKIMI, 5000 Nuyen, and 12000 Nuyen and DF_DS-TARGET.
    Lots of $$$ gained here. Go into the north door and jack yet another
    computer to gain acess to sub level 4. Head through the north door,
    and kill the Scientists behind the sentries (hopefully 0 damage done
    to you). Head down to...
    Sub Level 4 : Maximum Security : Get off, and edge south east, meaning
    DO NOT RUSH IN. Take a step at a time, till you can see and kill a
    scientist behind a sentry. Once that one is dead, edge closed till you
    see a troll decker, kill him, and do the same for the other enemies.
    It shouldn't be that hard. Okay, now DO NOT HEAD THROUGH THE DOOR.
    Instead, go north east into another level. Kill the Naga there, and
    gain 3 karma. Next level is another one, and the third level is a
    gold karma. This one is tough, it'll take a lot of healing and shooting
    to do before you can kill it (gain 6 karma). It will drop Serpent
    Scales, you can pick them up. Here's a tip:
    When facing the gold naga in the Drakes' Volcano, kill it and don't
    take the Scale. You get six Karma, so head up one screen into a small
    room. Go back and the gold naga will be there again. Repeat and kill
    the naga, getting 6 karma each time. Repeat and don't pick up the
    scale till you got enough. Its a good way to get lots of Karma, since
    when you kill about 10 normal guys, you only get 1 karma which sucks.

    "hi, i found your shadow run walkthrough helpful. when fighting the 
    gold naga on volcano level 4, i noticed that while fighting alone, 
    if you take jake and run just past the gold naga's head, or on top 
    of it, at the time it shoots the exploding ball thing, it dies 
    instantly. it drops the scales, which you can leave, and then return 
    to that screen to fight it again. go ahead and test it, cuase im not 
    sure if the 'feature' of the instant death for the naga isn't just 
    a bug in my copy.
    I have tested this and yes it does work.  When you leave the screen, 
    the gold naga will respawn if you do not pick up the scales.  Instead 
    of fighting her with your weapons and magic, run up to her head as 
    quickly as you can.  She will move around alot, but try and stay near 
    her head - when she shoots you, she will kill herself instantly!  
    Quick, fast and easier to get loads of karma than in the crypt with 
    the ghouls!  Thank you for showing me this!

    Takes too long though, and the zombie in the crypt strategy is good.
    Now, that you have the scales, go ALL THE WAY BACK OUT, to the docks.
    Beware, the enemies re-spawn in the volcano. When you get to the
    Helicopter Pilot, ask about <Drake> and he'll fly you back to Drake's
    Building, then head to the docks, and to the dog shaman, and you will
    get the Freeze and Armor spells. Now, go back to the hotel, and use
    all the karma you have on Armor. It will take about 15 Karma to max
    the Armor spell out; it is worth your while. Trust Me. Use the rest
    on Heal and Invisibility spells. Armor is a great spell, becuase it
    keeps you from sustaining any damage. If needed, you can go to the
    second weapon shop and get the Assault Rifle. Not recommended though.
    Go back to sub-level 4, and remember to watch out for the scientists
    behind the sentries, and take them out, and use Armor Spell if needed.
    This time, head through the only door. Though upon entering, cast the
    Armor spell on you and kill the troll decker infront of you. There are
    3 of them, so kill them all. As you move on in the next room, edge
    on carefully, and kill the scientist throwing grenades. There are two
    of them before the next room... As soon as you enter, evade the dropping
    ice blocks, an turn on Armor spell <— Important! Go on, to meet the
    big fiery Drake... Without the Armor spell on, you'd be toast. Shoot
    Drake's head, and watch for when your armor spell is about to run out,
    then re-cast it again, and repeat, shooting the head till it dies. Yay.
    Once you kill him and gain 11 Karma (Yay!) you will see his body seems
    to be solidified or frozen. Head into the door north west. Talk to the
    only different coloured scientist, his name is Professor Pushkin. He
    says that Drake's been keeping him here after the Anti-AI courier
    sent by Raitsov was SUPPOSED to come. Go to ask about and ask about
    <Head Computer>. He realises that you are the Anti-AI! He has the code
    to break into Aneki, so you can destroy it. Then, choose <Drake> and
    learn that <Drake> is working for <Aneki>, the higher company in this
    game. Exit, and you will be flown back immediately to Drake's Towers.
    ~ Area 3 : Last Stop, Aneki... ~
    Right-i-o. This is the last chapter of the game. First, you should
    have a lot of karma to burn. Go to Dark Blade's Weapon Shop to find
    an abundance of more weapons to buy, the best in the game. Here's the
    new ones.
    Fully Concealable Jacket
    ———> Don't Bother <———
    Cost- 13000 Nuyen
    Full Body Suit
    ———> Must Get! <———
    Cost- 30000 Nuyen
    'Enfield AS-7' assault cannon
    ———> Must Get! <———
    Cost- 40000 Nuyen
    You probably have around 63000 Nuyen hopefully... Okay, first, buy the
    Assault Cannon, then you should have around 20000 Nuyen+ left. Sell the
    T-Defiance Shotty (Finally!) for 7500 Nuyen and buy the Full Body Suit.
    If you don't have enough money sell the Partial Bodysuit. Okay, you need
    to have adequate stats here, and here are mine: Body/Magic/Strength/
    ibility/Armor/Summon Spirit/Freeze. 20/11/6/5/10/6/4/3/3/6/5/6/4/1.
    That should be enough, and remember to heal to max. Now, go to the
    market square, remember that it is outside of the train station. Now,
    head up north east and along the road. This time, you can head up the
    stairs there, that the final place, Aneki. Approach and the thug, or
    mage should I say will ask you for your Aneki Security Pass, or you have
    5 seconds before he blows you off this planet. Anyway, exit and kill the
    mage and 3 ferocious orcs without any HP been taken off your bar. Enter.
    Inside, it is black. You will need to hack the computer, which looks
    invisible but probably is in the table itself. Jack it. The password
    obtained from Pushkin allows you to gain access pass the first lines.
    Head up to...
    Second Floor: Enemies : Upper Room > 2x Samurai Warrior 2x Ferocious
    Orc 1x Massive Orc : Lower Room > 1x Mage 2x Samurai Warrior 1x Massive
    Orc : Okay, first enter the upper room. Take care of the Ferocious Orcs
    first because they seem to hurt you, then heal up. Once the enemies
    are taken care of, jack the right middle computer. This computer by far
    is the hardest to jack, and there a lot of routes. When you get up to
    the point where you can't see where the routes are going, take north
    for a shortcut. Jack out when you kill off the green crystal to activate
    the elevator. In the lower room, it is a lot smaller, and you can take
    more damage than before. Once cleared, jack the lower right computer.
    This one is a lot easier. For your reward is a Data File and the Level
    3 Node will be deactivated. Go up to...
    Third Floor: Enemies : Upper Room > 2x Samurai Warrior 2x Massive Orc
    1x Mage : Lower Room > 1x Massive Orc 2x Samurai Warrior 2x Mage : When
    you first get off, beware of the Trol Decker which gets out of the other
    doors. In the upper room kill off the Massive Orcs first. Clear the room
    and jack the upper right computer. Just when you get to the green
    crystals collet 3 and jack out to hopefully gain access to the next
    floor. In the lower room, beware as 3 enemies come and rush you at the
    same time. Then kill the mage and jack the upper left computer. You
    will get 10000 Nuyen and a data file for efforts. The next level...
    Fourth Floor: Enemies : Upper Room > 2x Samurai Warrior 1x Massive Orc
    1x Ferocious Orc : Lower Room > 1x Samurai Warrior 1x Massive Orc
    1x Mage : Head to the upper room, where you must kill the Massive Orc
    First, or you will suffer, then the Ferocious, then the Samurais. Go
    and jack the upper middle computer, to activate the elevator. Now,
    head to the lower room. Kill the easy enemies here and jack the middle
    right computer. Get all of the blocks to gain 25000 Nuyen. Wow. Head
    up to...
    Fifth Floor: Enemies : Upper Room > 1x Troll Decker 2x Mage 2x Samurai
    Warrior : Lower Room > 1x Samurai Warrior 2x Ferocious Orc 2x Mage :
    This time, head to the lower room first. Kill all and hack the middle
    right computer. This one can be confusing as there are 8 data blocks.
    When you reach the first sole data block with lost of empty space,
    there is one more south of it. Jack out to get 50000, 20000 and 15000
    Nuyen at the same time!!! Go to the upper room...
    *Warning* Last room of the Game Before entering, so anything *Warning*
    *Warning* you  would do last before the end of the game..... *Warning*
    By far the tougest room, as there's a Troll Decker, Samurai Warriors
    and mages throwing and shooting crap at you. Kill off the Troll Decker
    first, then the Samurais, then the Mages, and then heal up to full
    health. The last computer, the AI computer, is the big piece of crap
    behind the desk. Jack it... This is very easy. Head up, pressing B
    killing off ICs, then to the grey crystal, press B to destroy all the
    guard ICs. Head to the north section up the right side, and head to
    the middle, and break the green crystal in the middle, and exit to
    finish the game.
    Congratulations, sit back and feel proud!
    Actually, My thoughts were that this wasn't a bad game at all. It was
    enjoyable, fun, challenging to play, and the concept of the computer
    hacking levels were creative in the mind. Now, whatever happened to
    Shadowrun II? Its been 10 years, folks at Dataeast!

    Body: Every level gives you 10 more HP
    Magic: Every level gives you 10 more MP
    Strength: Allows you to use higher graded armor. I don't believe it 
    does anything else.
    Charisma: allows you to hire multiple shadowrunners at the same time. 
    I believe it works on this scale:
    Charisma Runners
    1 to 3 Points gets you 1 Shadowrunner, 4-5 gets you 2, 6 gets you 3."

    "1) Dermal armour is an upgrade that provides an additional 
    2 armour to Jake at all times, even when he's otherwise 
    'naked'.  It's well worth the money, as it takes the full bodysuit's
    protection level up to 8 (so basically, nobody outside the volcano
    and Aneki towers can hurt you).  Tip:  take Dermal armour into
    the volcano with you, along with the partial bodysuit, and 
    nothing above sub-level 4 can hurt you :-D
    2) The number of points you have in firearms seems to affect
    damage done, from my experience...  specifically, setting an 
    upper limit on how powerful your shot can be.  For example, 
    if Jake has Firearms lvl 8, even the Assault cannon can't do more
    than 8 damage.
    3)If you have a fair amount of mp, Drake can be a real breeze: 
    Use the Jester spirit first, then cast Freeze on him. If you have
    it up to lvl 6, he can't move for pretty much as long as it will take
    to kill him off. Stand up by him and powerball him (lvl 6 preferably) 
    nonstop until he's dead (if you run out of mp, then you might be in 
    trouble, but if nothing else he should be close to dead)  If you still 
    can't make it, just make sure your last 10 mp go to a second casting 
    of Freeze, keeping him still and stopping his fire-breath for more 
    than enough time to kill him off.
    4) If you're not strong enough (or far enough along) to
    repeatedly kill the gold naga for karma, then try the ghouls in the
    Dark Blade crypts. Go to the far end, and stand behind the last 
    casket. If you do it right, the ghouls that appear will be unable
    to walk past the casket to get to you, leaving them as easy targets. 
    They occasionally give as much as 2 karma each, so be patient and
    you'll have plenty.
    5) In the caryards, the best strategy is to fight all the way
    up to the Ferocious Orc, and kill him. Go rest up, then challenge 
    the King. You should still have all your slap patches (or most
    of them at least) so  you should be all right to kill him without 
    leaving. Forget about the last three warriors; they can be dealt 
    with later. I usually come  back after learning Heal and getting 
    some armour and an automatic weapon (Uzi perhaps, but better off 
    with the assault rifle). By that point, the money will come in 
    handy, but you shouldn't need it much before then, so fear not.
    Getting as far as the Ferocious orc and the King should be enough
    money for the shotgun, at least, and that's the most expensive
    item to date, so there shouldn't be any problems.
    As a final note, karma is completely random for the most part, with a 
    few exceptions. Boss-type enemies give standard amounts of karma each
    time, and in the Drake towers, Aneki towers, and the volcano, clearing
    each room/floor gives a set amount of karma, no matter who gets killed
    first or last. Random enemies, though, give random karma;  sometimes 
    you'll get karma from 2-3 guys in a row, other times you'll hit a dry 
    spell for a few kills (i've gone as many as 20 or so) and get none.
    But just keep killing guys, and the karma will come.
    Authors Note: Gee. That's a lot of tips from one guy. These are many
    very good tips, especially the karma with the ghouls one, that one I
    recommend to any good player who wishes to build up karma.

    I recently blew the dust off of my shadowrun cartridge and started 
    playing again after several years. Love the game. I liked your 
    walkthrough, and just wanted to give a tip you might consider adding 
    to it: A good way for beginners to get karma fast is to hire the 
    shaman in the first club in the game once he stops talking on the 
    phone, and take him to the 1st cemetary. He blows the skeletons to 
    pieces quite often with just one shot. I was able to rack up 15-20 
    karma in no time at all, and could have gotten more, but got bored. 
    Also, the second doctor knows your name probably because if you ask 
    the bartender?  in the bar where kitsune hangs out about your "head 
    problem" he will hook you up with the 2nd doctor's office number for 
    a price. You can call, and the secretary will tell you to come over 
    right away.

    All magic levels increase the effectiveness of the given spell. You
    may want to think before you up these levels, as the casting cost also
    increases with the level. I think Freeze, Heal, Invisibility,
    Powerball, and Shield cost x2, and Summon Spirit costs x4
    Does: Heals Jake/Shadowrunners/Mages/Shapeshifters/Mercenaries
    Need: Enchanted Leaves, Magic Fetish, and Dog Collar
    How to get Enchanted Leaves: Get it off Kitsune at the bat in A3 by
    talking her about <dog>.
    How to get Magic Fetish:  Give a slap patch to the dying shaman in the
    cemetery in A1.
    How to get Dog Collar: At the start open the gate to the fountain and
    the dog will come out and drop his/her collar.
    Does: Throw at enemy to hurt them. Can also hurt shadowrunners.
    Need: Ghoul Bone and Paperweight.
    How to get Ghoul Bone: Kill a ghoul after you heal the shaman.
    How to get Paperweight: Its in Glutman's building, the room next to
    the secretary's office.
    Summon Spirit
    Does: Summons a spirit and hurts the enemy.
    Need: Dog Tag and Dog Collar.
    How to get Dog Tag: Kill the doggie on the ship -- the one with the
    toxic waste and water.
    How to get Dog Collar: Read 'heal'.
    Does: Damages enemy/freezes them
    Need: Octopus Ink and Mermaid Scales.
    How to get Octopus ink: At the docks, go through the last door and
    kill the octopus, use black bottle to collect 
    How to get Mermaid Scales: Found at docks.

    How to get Clean Water: Use potion bottles in the fountain in A1.

    Q.Where is the second weapon shop?
    A.The shop where it is found in is the place where you have to open
    the gate with a bronze key ( DARK BLADE'S HANGOUT ). Its also the place
    where you kill the vampire, Vladimir, i think. Outside the building
    are two corners (duh). The lower one has a little shop when you enter
    the alley. It should have and elf as the guy at the counter.
    Q.Why can't I hurt the mage in the arena, but only with my grenades?
    A.You need a T250 Shotgun or better gun to inflict damage on him, so
    that means pay 4000 (or 2000) nuyen to get out of the caryards, or
    kill the king.
    Q. What does the Wired Reflexes do?
    A. "Wired Reflexes: Increases the number of shots you can fire per
    minute. I believe it is approximately doubled, so it's a pretty nice
    thing to have." Answered by Paul
    Q. Can you explain the skills to me?
    A. Yes. Actually, Paul will do it.
    "Computer: Uncertain of the specifics, either it improves your odds of
    succeeding in an attack against an IC, decreases the amount of damage 
    you take from events in the matrix, and/or increases your maximum
    storage capacity.
    Firearms: Increases the likelyhood that you make contact with your 
    target. at level 1, you might strike 20% of the time, at level 20, you 
    strike maybe 90% of the time. Doesn't increase the damage inflicted 
    with each shot.
    Negotiation: Decreases the cost to hire shadowrunners. The discount
    you get varies with each runner. Negotiation is obtained by talking to 
    the Arena manager in the caryards and selecting "ask about" . He 
    charges $1000 for the skill ( is obtained by talking to the retired
    doctor in the first bar of the game)
    Leadership: Makes shadowrunners want to stick with you. I've yet to 
    figure out how shadowrunners decide they have earned their pay (amount
    of action, an actual timer countdown, distance walked), but higher
    levels of leadership increases that time, giving you more muscle for 
    your money. Leadership is obtained by purchasing the Skillsoft from 
    the second streetdoc (talk to secretary, "ask about" )"
