REVISION HISTORY ---------------------------------------------- Version 2.0 (12/29/00) Finally finished Section VII. Corrected spelling too. Version 1.5 (12/21/00) Finished Sections XII, XIII, XIV, and XV. Must do Section VII. Still a little missing info. Corrected some grammar mistakes. Version 1.0 (12/19/00) My first FAQ ever! Created everything but Sections VII, XII, XIII, XIV, and XV. Gotta find some missing info too. ---------------------------------------------- II. INTRODUCTION ---------------------------------------------- Hello and welcome to my first ever FAQ / Walkthrough! BSSM: Another Story is a great game because it blends good anime with RPG elements. I love pretty much any anime and RPG's are my fav genre (survival horror too) so that's why I enjoy this. I really don't think there are many walkthroughs out there for this game so I hope mine can help you in some way. Now, I play this game as a ROM (I'll explain it next section) because I don't exactly have the money for Japanese systems and games!lol The first time I played through this, it was the non- translated version so I really had to rough it but now there's a handy dandy translated version! Well, good luck with the game! ---------------------------------------------- III. ROM INFO ---------------------------------------------- Alright, I'm not gonna explain the what roms and emulators are. If you don't know, just search for some and I'm sure you'll find a million websites with some good info. All I'm gonna do is explain the legal crap and my feelings on roms. Ok, now technically you are not supposed to download a rom unless you own the game and you can't keep it for longer than 24 hours. I very seriously doubt any of you own this game. I think that most roms are great. I don't think Playstation, N64, etc. roms are good because the companies lose money if people continuously download those roms. However, I think that emulation for systems like SNES, NES, Gameboy, etc. are all wonderful because they let us enjoy old games and import games. It's really your choice whether you decide to download a rom or not, but just in case you wanna play this game, here is some information: You can get the Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: Another Story rom at www.emusanet.com. It will be pre-patched and everything. If you can't get it there for some reason just search for it. I know that quite a few other places will have it, but you'll probably have to patch it yourself which isn't all that hard to do. A good SNES emulator is ZSNES at www.zsnes.com. It'll come with instructions on how to use it and that's all you need to play the game, unless you need to patch the game and then you'll need the patch which is at www.terminaldogma.net/smrpg. That site is the home of the great people who translated the game! ---------------------------------------------- IV. BSSM BACKGROUND ---------------------------------------------- In order to really understand and have a good time with this game, it is a good idea to be more familiar with Sailor Moon in it's entirety. Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon was created by Naoko Takeuchi in 1992 as a follow-up to her hit manga series Sailor V. It told the story of a normal, although clumsy, 14-year old girl named Usagi who found a magical cat named Luna. Luna revealed that Usagi was actually a princess, sent to the future to combat the evil Dark Kingdom. Usagi gained the power to transform into the hero of justice, Sailor Moon! With that, Usagi found the 4 other Sailor Senshi, Tuxedo Kamen, and the Ginzuishou. She then defeated the evil Queen Beryl and her 4 generals which erased all of the Senshis' and Tuxedo's mind of any- thing they had done. The manga lasted volumes and the anime show lasted 200 episodes throughout 5 seasons. Next came Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon R which detailed the Senshi fighting the two aliens Ail and Ann. This was followed by the Senshi going against the evil Black Moon clan. Usagi's future daughter, Chibi-Usa was also introduced as she came to find the Ginzuishou. Then Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon S came, which led to the Senshi finding the 4 Outer Senshi, including Sailor Saturn who became evil and then was reduced back to an infant. The Senshi battled the evil Death Busters. This game takes place shortly after this series. That's all you really need to know because the 2 other seasons, Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon SuperS and Sailor Stars, don't apply to this game. Be warned that you should know a few of the very critical Japanese terms because they are in the game. You should also know a little about Japanese culture or else you might not understand some of the jokes. If you really want me to, I could add a section to help you with the Japanese stuff but I think most of you will do just fine with it. ---------------------------------------------- V. PLAYING THE GAME ---------------------------------------------- This section is basically going to tell you how to play the game and what the buttons do so if you're an RPG pro already you'll probably want to just go to Section VI. Normal Mode: Walking around, advancing the story, and finding items Directional Pad: Walks around A: Interacts with environment (talks to people, opens chests, etc.) B: Hold while walking to run L/R: Hold while walking to run very fast X: Opens Main Menu Start: Opens MakeUpLink Menu Select: Opens Options Menu Talk to people often to advance the storyline. Talking can often help you when you're stuck or just provide a good laugh! There aren't too many item chests in this game as compared to a more standard RPG. The brown chests are item chests. This game uses random battle modes which means, while you're walking around in a certain area, you can be attacked which will take you to Battle Mode. Remember that battles can happen at bad times, like after a conversation, and you might not be prepared. Always be careful and keep your characters strong! To save the game, look for a Luna-P ball, Chibi-Usa's magic and communication device, and talk to it. Then move the cursor down to Save. Battle Mode: Fighting battles Directional Pad: Moves between options A: Accepts option B: Cancels option. You cannot cancel after choosing the target(s) for the final move. L (in item/technique list): Moves cursor one screen down R (in item/technique list): Moves cursor one screen up Your characters will always be on the right side of the screen and everyone gets one move per turn. Here is a list of battle options: Fight: This uses a regular attack which does not use up EP. Technique: Opens a list of the character's techniques, which can use from 1 to 12 EP. If you don't have enough EP for a technique, it will be colored red and you can't select it. Link Tech: Opens a list of link techniques available for that character. Any link techs that are unavailable due to lack of EP (for either character) or the other side of the link is not in the fight, will be red. In order for a link to appear, it MUST first be tried in the MakeUpLink menu (pressing Start). Formation Tech: Opens a list of formation techniques. Only the FIRST character to act can select a formation technique. You can use exactly one of the first four techniques at any time; the fifth one can only be used with a specific party. Item: Opens the item list. Defend: The character defends, making almost all attacks miss or do very little damage. This does not affect status attacks, however. Escape: Tries to escape from battle, but not a boss battle. Here is a list of status effects the can happen to your characters during a battle: NUMB: (Poison) The character will receive a predetermined HP loss (depending on the strength of the caster) after every round, and after every step taken on the field. Caused by: The "Toxic Mist" attack; affects all allies. Appearance: The character turns weird colors and a green drop comes out of her head. Cure: Using BathMedic; you can also use SchwartzM. on the field. Numb remains after battle. SELFISHNESS (Confusion): The character is uncontrollable and will attack friends or enemies randomly. Caused by: The "Illusion" attack; affects all allies. Appearance: A star above the character's head. Cure: Using BathMedic, C.Cologne, or V.Rose. Selfishness disappears after battle. ENCHANTMENT (Charm): The character is uncontrollable and will only attack allies. Caused by: The "Fascination" attack; affects all allies. Appearance: A heart above the character's head. Cure: Using App.Medic or BathMedic. Enchantment disappears after battle. ACCIDENT (Stone): The character turns to stone and cannot move or attack. If all characters turn to stone, the game ends. Caused by: The "Barrier" attack; affects all allies. Mostly used by bosses. Appearance: The character turns gray. Cure: Using Pork Chop or Red Berry. Accident remains after battle. SLEEP: The character cannot move or attack. Cause: The "Sonic Wave" attack; affects one ally. Appearance: The character is crouched, with a bubble coming out of her mouth. Cure: Using Alarm C.; also, if anyone attacks her, she will wake up. Sleep disappears after battle. Menu Mode: Using menus Directional Pad Up and Down: Move cursor between options A: Accept option B: Cancel option; also press to exit the menu if nothing has been selected L: Move one page to the left (in item/tech lists) R: Move one page to the right (in item/tech lists) We'll start with the Main Menu. Your options are: Items Accessories Formation Status Techniques Link Techs Puzzle Save Items: Gives you a list of your items. Select "Sort items" to let the game organize them for you. Select "Rare Items" to see a list of story items, which can't be used. Select "Use Item" to use an item. You are given the item name and the amount you have of that item; putting the cursor on it will show you a brief description of it above the list. If an item is in black, it can be used; if it's in gray it can only be used in battle. Select an item to use and you'll be taken back to the main screen where you can choose who to use it on. Accessories: Every person can equip up to three accessories, which change her stats like strength, defense, and speed. The Options menu (press Select on main screen) lets you change the text speed, sound type (stereo or mono), etc. The Cursor option is Memory or Off. Selecting Off means that the battle cursor will start from the beginning every time you choose it; Memory means that it remembers exactly where it was the last time you used it; there's a different memory for each battle option, and for each character. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ---------------------------------------------- Q. Where can I get a copy of this game? A. Japan....maybe a site on the internet would sell it but then you'd need a SuperFamicom too. Q. Are there other Sailor Moon games? A. Yes, there are many for SNES and I believe there are 2 for Gameboy. Q. I haven't seen any item boxes. Where are they?! A. Well, the first 2 chapters have a very small amount of item chests so just buy what you need. Q. One of my characters has great defense but their attack sucks! What should I do? A. Well, chances are you have the character placed in the back row. When you do that, their defense is great but the offense suffers. Just change their battle placement. Q. This game is too hard! Why?!! A. Level build my friend. It makes the world go round. Q. What are the Moon Cup items used for? A. They are used in battle only for Sailors Moon and Chibi-Moon. It will morph them into their Super versions and give them a super attack. However, they will lose most all of their link techs. Q. What does collecting the entire puzzle do? A. When you have the whole puzzle, a boy in Crystal Tokyo will give you the Imperial Gift (Refer to Section VIII for more.) Q. What is the best team to use? A. I enjoy the team of Moon-Uranus-Neptune-Pluto-Saturn but you may differ. Pluto is very powerful because of her Time Stop move and Saturn is really powerful too. Moon is well-rounded and Uranus and Neptune are great linkers. A team of Moon-Mercury-Mars-Jupiter and Venus would be good too. Also remember that Moon can be subbed with Chibi-Moon because they are pretty much equal. ---------------------------------------------- VII. WALKTHROUGH ---------------------------------------------- *Note: I have tried to get as much info on bosses as possible. I'm not sure if their HP is accurate but it's close. **Note: This may contain minor spoilers but I will not describe any of the scenes that occur in the game so you'll still be in for an unspoiled story. ***Note: Please e-mail me about any mistakes I have made or possibly an easier method to beating an area then I have described. Thanks! CHAPTER 1: HER DESTINY -Usagi's House- After the scene with Luna, note that there is a Luna-P ball in your room so you can save there any time you want. Shingo's room is at the lower left of the top floor and you can find Ikuko in the left room of the lower floor. You will be playing as Usagi so go out of her room, down the stairs, and out the front door. Outside there is a boy who will heal your HP infinite times for free! Now go right to enter the main map of Juuban. -Juuban- The city is composed of 5 horizontal streets. We'll call the bottom street the bottom level, the street above that the first level, the street above that the second level and so on. Now if you haven't played this game before, go into the Clock Shop and Game Center to get the feel of the game. If you just wanna keep moving the game along, go to the OSA-P Jewelry store. Don't worry about random battles yet cause there won't be any. -Clock Shop- The Clock Shop is on the third level street. In here you can learn about items, battle menus, and even link techs. If you don't know about these things then it's very important you learn! -Crown Game Center- The Crown Game Center is on the second level street. The Game Center is where you can learn how to save, equip accessories, and even talk to Usagi's old crush! -OSA-P Jewelry Store- The OSA-P is on the third level street. When you enter, you will see that Naru-chan is in trouble! You have to beat an extremely easy boss to save her. ******************************************************************* BOSS #1 Persian-Cut HP 20 Difficulty: * Special Attack: none Recommended Level: 1 Party: Moon Experience: 3 Yen: 500 Prize: Life Water This is your first boss but don't worry, she's easy. Just use Moon Tiara Action repeatedly and normal attack if needed. Piece O' Cake! ******************************************************************* After the battle, head up the stairs to the upper-right room. There is a treasure box containing an ANCIENT DOLL there. After this, go outside and a long scene will follow. When you regain control, you'll be at Tokyo Station. -Tokyo Station- If you want, you can ride the bus back to Hikawa Shrine and it costs 180 yen but that's pretty pointless. Minako, Makato, and Rei will join your team so go the right and inside the station. Another scene will occur and after that, talk to all the girls. After the next scene, go up to have Ami join the team. Also, go ahead and access the MakeUpLink screen and get all those links made up! They'll come in handy soon. Now go a little left to enter the bullet train and save at the Luna-P. There are 2 battles inside but I really don't think they count as bosses and you can beat them with absolutely no problems. Now, yet another scene will occur. When you regain control, you'll be at Hikawa Shrine. -Hikawa Shrine- Now you will only have Usagi so go and talk to Rei's grandpa. You will have a phone conversation with a familiar face and afterwards leave the shrine. Now go down the steps and back to the road. Go all the way left into Juuban and keep going left as far as you can until you reach Juuban Hospital. -Juuban Hospital- Now go into the leftmost room on the top floor. Talk to either Haruka or Michiru to start a conversation, then a boss will attack! ****************************************************************** BOSS #2 Palmacon HP 100 Difficulty: * Special Attack: none Recommended Level: 6, 1, 1 Party: Moon, Uranus, Neptune Experience: 3 Yen: 200 Prize: Bandage This is another very easy battle, just use basic special attacks and she will die in no time at all. ****************************************************************** Now leave the hospital and Hotaru will also join you. Make a note that now, you will be attacked randomly anywhere in Juuban. The first place you should go is back to OSA-P and buy some accessories to make your people stronger. After that, level your team up to at least Level 6 and then head back to Usagi's house. -Usagi's House- Now go into Shingo's room and save him from the 3rd boss! ****************************************************************** BOSS #3 Cureney Green HP 200 Difficulty: * Special Attack: Sonic Wave Recommended Level: 7, 6, 6, 6 Party: Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn Experience: 5 Yen: 2500 Prize: None As long as you have the accessories equipped, this boss is cake. Just use basic special attacks and be at least above Level 4. ****************************************************************** Now head back to Hikawa Shrine! -Hikawa Shrine- Enter the Fire Room (where the senshi were at before) to see a scene. Now go to Juuban High School. -Juuban High School- This is right near the hospital. Before you enter the school, make sure you've bought accessories and items cause you won't be back for a long time. Make sure you buy a good amount of Manicures and de-poison items. Sailor Mercury will thank you! When you are ready, enter the school and note that you can't leave. There is a boy on the first floor in the leftmost room that will heal your team for free. There is one person to rescue on each of the 4 floors and they are each guarded by an easy boss. On the first floor go into the room just left of the entrance and on the second go to the leftmost room where you will face this boss twice. ******************************************************************* BOSS #4 Muhreed HP 180 Difficulty: * Special Attack: Toxic Mist Recommended Level: 7, 6, 6, 6 Party: Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn Experience: 5 Yen: 500 Prize: Application Medicine Just use basic special attacks for this boss. She is very easy if you've leveled up. If she poisons any of your people, just go to the healer boy after the battle. You fight her twice. ******************************************************************* Now the third floor's battle is in the third room from the right and the fourth floor's battle is in the third room from the left. You will face this boss in each room. ******************************************************************* BOSS #5 Jarcock HP 200 Difficulty: * Special Attack: Toxic Mist, Sonic Wave, Fascination Recommended Level: 7, 6, 6, 6 Party: Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Saturn Experience: 5 Yen: 100 Prize: None This boss is easy too. Don't get too used to the bosses being easy though cause it sure don't last! Use basic special attacks and make sure you come into the battle healed. ******************************************************************** Now go ahead and unequip your accessories or at least one persons. Go up the staircase on the left to the roof and be ready for the long scene that follows. You will be able to save afterwards which results in the end of Chapter 1! CHAPTER 2: IN SEARCH FOR THE STONES SAILOR MERCURY (Switzerland) *Note: The enemies in this area drop these items - LIFEWATER, APP.MEDIC, ALARM C., and PORKCHOP -Han's House- You will regain control here with only Ami. Exit this house and then re-enter it and talk to Hans. You were supposed to go and buy some SchwartzM in the item shop but the game will advance if don't. Now leave the house to explore Kainess Village. -Kainess Village- Now you can explore the village. If you didn't unequip someone's accessories, go and buy some at the shop. You might want to purchase some Nigiri for healing also. Now, head east to leave the town. Enemies will start attacking so be ready but try not to run from battles because you'll need to level up. At the first intersection, go up. At the second intersection, go east to end up in Andeng Village. -Andeng Village- Walk straight ahead from the entrance of this village and search that group of barrels to find a PUZZLE PIECE. Notice that this village also has an item shop and an inn in case you need them. Remember that all inns are 500 yen. Search the barrels at the bottom left of town to find another PUZZLE PIECE. Now leave town by going west and then go up. When you see the cave, enter it. -Schwartz Cave- Go all the way up to find a treasure box containing the S.EARRING and save at the Luna-P ball. Make sure to equip that accessory! Now go down and east to find Dr. Schwartz. After the conversation, open the box to get the S.RING and equip it. Now go back to Han's house in Kainess Village. -Han's House- After the scene, go back to the Schwartz Cave. -Schwartz Cave- Go to the area where you met Dr. Schwartz and enter that cave. After the next scene, you can pick yes or no. They will both involve the same things but in a different order. Pick yes if you want the better route. Now head back to Han's house. -Han's House- After this scene, you will be ready to go and fight the boss. This is the last time you can buy IceShards or SchwartzM so stock up on those and make sure to get healing items and fight until you are at Level 18. The boss you'll face can be a real pain! -Nabu Cave- This cave is located north of Schwartz Cave. Once inside, follow the path until you reach a Luna-P. Save and then move forward to face Nabu of the Oppositio Senshi. ********************************************************************* BOSS #6 Nabu HP 220 Difficulty: **** Special Attack: Tempest, Toxic Mist Recommended Level: 18 Party: Mercury Experience: 270 Yen: 2500 Prize: MoonShard The first time you fight Nabu, one Shine Aqua Illusion should take care of her. After some speech, she attacks again with an insanely strong defense! She can be extremely hard if you don't know what you're doing, however, I will teach you the easy method of beating her in 4 hits. First, make sure you are at Level 18 and have both of Mercury's special accessories and a Bracelet equipped. Then use arrow formation and put Mercury in front. Use Shine Aqua Illusion 3 times, then an IceShard to refill EP, then use Shine Aqua Illusion once more and she's gone. Simple huh? ********************************************************************* After the battle a long scene will commence and then you will be able to save again. That's the end of Sailor Mercury's mission! SAILOR MARS (Nepal) *Note: The enemies in this area drop these items - LIFECREPE, ORANGE J., LASAWATER, C.COLOGNE, and ALARM C. -Takra Kuhp Temple- You will regain control here with only Rei. Go up, left, up, right, and up and notice the red jewel. Go up and search it to start a scene which will lead to a battle. Just use Burning Mandala to take care of the enemies. After the next scene you end up in Yaga Village inside of Faregg's House. -Faregg's House- After this scene, go outside and explore the village. -Yaga Village- This village has an item shop and an inn. The item shop sells an item called Yaga Soup which you can't get anywhere else so buy quite a few of them. Make sure to equip Sailor Mars with accessories. Now go to the top right into the large house. Once inside, go to the left to see a scene. Now leave the house and head left to exit the town. Go up a bit, left, down, and left all the way to enter Lasa Village. -Lasa Village- Here you can go shopping if needed and make sure to fight until you are around Level 10. Now enter the Takra Kuhp Temple. -Takra Kuhp Temple- Go left, up, and right until you come to all of the statues. Go and talk to the one that looks different and after the conversation, a boss battle will commence. ********************************************************************* BOSS #7 Daisoujou HP 250 Difficulty: * Special Attack: Toxic Mist Recommended Level: 10 Party: Mars Experience: 100 Yen: 300 Prize: Application Medicine Just put Mars in the front with arrow formation and use 2 Mars Snake Fires to kill him. Not hard. ********************************************************************* After a long scene, you will regain control of Usagi in her room. -Usagi's House- Go out of the house and into Juuban. -Juuban- Continue heading right straight to a bus stop. Wait there until a bus comes then board it and it will take you to Infinity Academy. At the top left of the area is the Collector's Shop where you can trade in your collectible items for major cash. Visit it now or wait till later in the game when you have more stuff. Anyway, head down into the next screen. Go right, down, left, and up inside the fenced area. To the left you'll find a NIGIRISET and to the right is a COLOGNE. You should be at least Level 10. Now enter the building. -Tomoe Labs- Go to the right and down the stairs to enter a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #13 Mistress 9 HP 550 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Sonic Wave Recommended Level: 10 Party: Moon Experience: 65 Yen: 12000 Prize: none If you've leveled up, this boss is easy. Just use Moon Spiral Heart Attack and normal moves. Her Sonic Wave could provide a problem, but it usually never works. *********************************************************************** You'll enter another battle right after that one. *********************************************************************** BOSS #14 Kaolinite HP 650 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Sonic Wave Recommended Level: 10 Party: Moon Experience: 65 Yen: 10000 Prize: Pearl Earring Kaolinite can be a little tough because of her large HP, but as long as you remember to use healing items, you'll be fine. Just use Moon Spiral Heart Attack and don't be afraid to use EP refilling items if you run out. *********************************************************************** After the scene, Hotaru will join you. Equip Saturn if you have extra accessories and put them in cluster formation with Moon in the front and Saturn in the middle. Now go down the passage and you'll have to fight another boss battle! *********************************************************************** BOSS #15 Gelmadoid HP 1000 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Sonic Wave, Toxic Wave, Fascination Recommended Level: 10, 8+ Party: Moon, Saturn Experience: 65 Yen: 13000 Prize: none This boss has some good attacks with high HP, but as long as you keep hitting him hard, Moon with Moon Spiral Heart Attack and Saturn with Death Reborn Revolution, he'll be gone after a few rounds. Use healing items when needed and you can use the MoonCup on Moon if you really want. *********************************************************************** After the battle, open the chest for a RED ROSE. Now you're in a random battle zone so level up Saturn to at least Level 10 if she's not there. Follow the path and go up when you can to enter a room with a Luna-P, APP.MEDIC, and DESTTIARA. Equip the tiara on Saturn and leave the room. Follow the path some more until you reach an open space with 4 chests at the left. They contain a HARISEN, APPLE J., TOILETTE, and the AMULET. Equip Saturn with the amulet and be happy because she is now super powerful! Go right and enter the door. Follow the path and be ready for a boss battle before you enter the next door. Enter and go into a conversation. Choose yes to fight the boss or no to skip the fight. It's an easy boss so why not fight? *********************************************************************** BOSS #16 Stone Danger HP 1700 Difficulty: * Special Attack: none Recommended Level: 11, 10 Party: Moon, Saturn Experience: 65 Yen: 12000 Prize: none As long as you equipped Saturn with her accessories, this battle is cake. 2 Death Reborn Revolutions and he's outta there! *********************************************************************** After the battle, you'll be back in Usagi's House. -Usagi's House- After the scene, leave and enter Juuban. -Juuban- Go and buy any accessories and items your team needs (Neptune, Uranus, and Chibi-Moon will be joining shortly) and make your way to the bus stop you were at before and let the bus take you to Infinity Academy. Go down to Tomoe Labs and try to enter which will result in a scene and you will end up in a forest with Michiru and Haruka joining your team. -Evil Forest- There's lots of good treasure to get here so make sure you get it all! Go to the bottom left corner to find a COLOGNE, then go up and search in the trees to the left for an EXCELLENT DOLL, then up some more to find S.JUICE. A NIGIRISET is in the top left corner. From there go right for a VIOLET ROSE the right some more to find AMEARRINGS. Equip Uranus with those then go to the bottom right and search the trees for A.EARRINGS. Equip Neptune with those. Now go talk to Chibi-Usa for a scene, which results in her joining you. Level everyone up to at least Level 12 and enter the cave. -D-Point Cave- There are 7 boss battles in here so make sure you leveled up! Here is what I recommend: Put your group in victory formation and position like this Saturn Moon Chibi-Moon Neptune Uranus Have Saturn use Death Reborn Revolution, Moon use Spiral Reflection, Chibi-Moon use Pink Sugar Blaster, Neptune use Spiral Reflection, and Uranus use Pink Sugar Blaster for all 7 battles. Now follow the path to enter the first battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #17 DD Girls 1 HP 1600 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Barrier Recommended Level: 13+, 13+, 12+, 12+, 12+ Party: Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, ChibiMoon Experience: 89 Yen: 5000 Prize: Life Water Follow the method I described above and you'll be fine. If you haven't leveled up then the DD Girls will give you some major trouble. Use healing items if needed. Use BathMedics for any troublesome status effects. *********************************************************************** Go to the top right for some LIFEWATER the continue on the path to the next battle *********************************************************************** BOSS #19 DD Girls 3 HP 1800 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Tempest Recommended Level: 13+, 13+, 12+, 12+, 12+ Party: Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, ChibiMoon Experience: 99 Yen: 7200 Prize: Special Cake Follow the method I described above and you'll be fine. If you haven't leveled up then the DD Girls will give you some major trouble. Use healing items if needed. The Tempest attack of this boss will cause major damage to Uranus so make sure you heal her. *********************************************************************** Get the MANICURE below you the go right to the next battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #20 DD Girls 4 HP 1780 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Whirlwind Cut Recommended Level: 13+, 13+, 12+, 12+, 12+ Party: Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, ChibiMoon Experience: 104 Yen: 7000 Prize: Confetti Follow the method I described above and you'll be fine. Uranus can be hurt badly by this boss too so keep her HP up. *********************************************************************** Go right to the next battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #21 DD Girls 5 HP 2400 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Whirlwind Cut, Illusion Recommended Level: 13+, 13+, 12+, 12+, 12+ Party: Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, ChibiMoon Experience: 110 Yen: 10000 Prize: Yaga Soup Follow the method I described above and you'll be fine. If you haven't leveled up then the DD Girls will give you some major trouble. Use healing items if needed. This boss is pretty tough because of her power but she should still go down fast. *********************************************************************** Go down to find a PORK CHOP then go up to the middle of the clearing to start a scene which leads to another battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #22 Queen Beryl HP 2200 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Sonic Wave, Toxic Mist, Facination Recommended Level: 14+, 14+, 13+, 13+, 13+ Party: Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, ChibiMoon Experience: 120 Yen: 5000 Prize: Fragrance Beryl has weak defense. The only bad thing is that she has many status spells but she should go down very fast. Use your BathMedics if needed. Remember to just use the same moves that you did on the DD Girls. *********************************************************************** After the battle, there'll be more conversation and then another battle will occur with Super Beryl. She will kill your entire group in one hit though and then another scene will occur and you will battle her for the real deal. *********************************************************************** BOSS #23 Super Beryl HP 5000 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Whirlwind Cut, Illusion Recommended Level: 14+, 14+, 13+, 13+, 13+ Party: Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, ChibiMoon Experience: 1000 Yen: 30000 Prize: Manicure This boss is a lot like the 5th DD Girl. Her vast HP will make the battle a little long, and you'll take a few hits, but just heal and hit hard and you'll be fine. As normal, use the same attacks you used on the DD Girls and Beryl. *********************************************************************** After a scene, you will be able to save and Chapter 3 will end! CHAPTER 4: HOSTILITY AND FRIENDS -Usagi's House- Let the scene play out and when you regain you regain control you will have Usagi and Chibi-Usa as your party. Leave the house and go into Juuban. -Juuban- Do any shopping needed and then go to the bus stop that takes you to Infinity Academy but don't board the bus. Enter the building above you. -Mamoru's Apartment- Go into the elevator, then enter the first room on your left. Go up into the next room then a long scene will proceed. Afterwards, you can choose your characters for the mission. Remember that, towards the end of the game, you will have to use all your characters so they will all need to be used equally throughout the rest of the game. I recommend a party of the following in cluster formation: Mars Venus Saturn Moon Chibi-Moon You'll be teleported to the Time-Space Door. -Time-Space Door- Go up and touch the door for a boss battle. *Note: The ^ symbol means optional. *********************************************************************** BOSS #24 Nergal HP 1500 Difficulty: * Special Attack: Whirlwind Cut, Illusion Recommended Level: 16, 16, 15, 15 , 15 Party: Moon, Saturn^, ChibiMoon, Venus^, Mars^ Experience: 300 Yen: 5000 Prize: Life Can Nergal is pretty easy. Just take your time and heal. Saturn is a must-have character to me. She's so powerful! If you have my example team, use these moves: Mars-Mars Snake Fire, Moon-Spiral Fire, Saturn- Death Reborn Revolution, Venus-Crescent Revolution, ChibiMoon-Pink Sugar Chain. *********************************************************************** After the scene, go up one screen. -Tower of Time- Get a GARNETPIN and PLAYING CARDS out of the two chests. This section uses teleport tiles to get around so don't worry about doors. There is a warp just below and right of the right chest and one just below and left of the left chest. Go to the right one for an S.CAKE and ORIGINAL CARD. Go to the left one for a C.PARFAIT. The merchant boy will sell you items, but not refill your HP. Go back to the right warp and into the door. The chests in here hold F.CREAM, G.EARRINGS, HOLYBERRY, and a SPECIAL DISH. There is a warp near the upper right chest that you should step on. Now you'll be in an area with a Luna-P and 4 chests. The left ones have a C.BURGER and a FRAGRANCE. The right ones have a RED PUPIL and a LIFECREPE. Equip the Red Pupil on someone, Saturn is the best choice, and level up to at least Level 20 (Level 21 or 22 is better) then enter the warp below the far right chest. You will go into a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #25 Dimension T. HP 2500 Difficulty: * Special Attack: None Recommended Level: 21+, 21+, 20+, 20+, 20+ Party: Moon, Saturn^, ChibiMoon, Venus^, Mars^ Experience: 1200 Yen: 10 Prize: Holy Water This battle is very easy if you leveled up and took a good group. I had Saturn at Level 22 with the Red Pupil equipped and she killed him in one hit! Just use powerful attacks like you did with Nergal. *********************************************************************** After the battle, a scene will begin. You'll end up in Hikawa Shrine with only Usagi. -Hikawa Shrine- Leave the shrine and go into Juuban. -Juuban- Go into the book store (bottom level). -Book Store- Talk to the manager and agree to buy the book for 300 yen. Then leave. -Juuban-
Go back to the shrine. -Hikawa Shrine- Go into the Fire Room for a scene to begin. You will have to pick a new party. Here is my recommendation: Moon Mercury Saturn Jupiter Pluto I think that party is good because Jupiter, Mercury, and Pluto are gonna need some levels and the next area is fantastic for leveling up. After the scene, you'll regain control in the Black Moon UFO. -Black Moon UFO- In the main room, there are no random battles and 2 chests on top the stairs that hold a TOILETTE and the ABRACELET, for Neptune. The merchant will sell you items. Save at the Luna-P then head left to the green door. Make sure you get up high levels in these random battle places, like around Level 25. The enemies will give good experience and if Saturn is in your party no one can stop her! Now after taking 2 left doors, 1 no- choice door, and another left door you'll enter a conversation and fight 4 boss battles, one after the other. Here they are: *********************************************************************** BOSS #26 Cooan HP 8000 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Dark Fire Recommended Level: 26, 26, 25, 25, 25 Party: Moon, Saturn^, Mercury^, Pluto^, Jupiter^ Experience: 1925 Yen: 4000 Prize: Fragrance Cooan is the easiest of the sisters and her Dark Fire attack is weak. The only person it might really hurt is Jupiter. Just use powerful dual attacks and if you used my recommended group, here's what to do: Pluto-Time Stop, Saturn-Death Reborn Revolution, Moon-Just heal or use Moon Spiral Heart Attack, Mercury-Shabon Thunder, Jupiter- Sparkling Wide Pressure. Jupiter and Saturn are your main attackers so as long as they live, you'll do fine. *********************************************************************** *********************************************************************** BOSS #27 Beruche HP 9000 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Dark Water Recommended Level: 26, 26, 25, 25, 25 Party: Moon, Saturn^, Mercury^, Pluto^, Jupiter^ Experience: 2125 Yen: 6000 Prize: Moon Shard This battle should also be very easy. Her Dark Water can hurt Jupiter but just use the same tactics you used on Cooan. *********************************************************************** *********************************************************************** BOSS #28 Karaberas HP 14000 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Whirlwind Cut, Dark Bute Recommended Level: 26, 26, 25, 25, 25 Party: Moon, Saturn^, Mercury^, Pluto^, Jupiter^ Experience: 2725 Yen: 7000 Prize: Yaga Soup You will most likely have a little trouble with this boss. Her attacks can easily kill Jupiter and weaken others. Use the same tactics you used for the other two to beat her. *********************************************************************** *********************************************************************** BOSS #29 Petz HP 20000 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Dark Thunder, Barrier, Sonic Wave Recommended Level: 26, 26, 25, 25, 25 Party: Moon, Saturn^, Mercury^, Pluto^, Jupiter^ Experience: 2925 Yen: 8000 Prize: Life Can Petz is definitely the most challenging sister. Her Dark Thunder is very powerful and your attacks hurt her less than anyone else. Just use the same tactics that killed her sisters and heal yourself. *********************************************************************** After the scene, go a little bit up and pick yes to leave. -Sariel Village- After the long scene, you'll be back in this familiar village and you'll have to pick another party. Here's what I pick: Moon Chibi-Moon Saturn Venus Pluto You don't have to pick that group though, but I highly recommend Saturn! Now do some shopping in town because the items have changed. Get a lot of BentouSets and Colognes if you don't have many. Now head to the Transport Cave. Right outside of the cave, you'll have to fight a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #30 Rubeus HP 25000 Difficulty: **** Special Attack: Illusion, Whirlwind Cut Recommended Level: 26, 26, 24, 24, 24 Party: Moon, Saturn^, ChibiMoon, Pluto^, Venus^ Experience: 1800 Yen: 5000 Prize: Yaga Soup If you've had an easy time with the bosses so far, this battle is a sign that the bosses are starting to get tough. Rubeus has very high defense and his whirlwind cut is very powerful. His illusion attack usually works on at least one person too. Just go all out with powerful attacks, but if you did bring Saturn here's a strategy: Have everyone else defend (if Pluto's there have her use Time Stop) and make sure Saturn is in the front of the group and have her keep using Death Reborn Revolution, it'll take a while but it's easy! *********************************************************************** Now go in the cave. -Transport Cave- Step on the transport and pick yes. -Ark- Go to the control panel and after a short scene you'll be able to fly around the world! Right now, head to the North Pole, which is that icy place north of Rias Village. -North Pole- The enemies here are pretty tough but they are good for leveling up. Get your team up to at least Level 30 (Level 32 is better) while you're here. First go right, then down through the narrow passage to find a LIFE CAN. Now go right all the way and down a little to find a chest that holds a BATHMEDIC. From there, go down all they way to get a CONFETTI. At the bottom right you'll find the ATIARA, for Sailor Uranus. Now go all the way up north and locate the opening near the right side of the screen. In the next screen, go to the right and to the left side of the castle for a FRAGRANCE, then try to enter the castle for a scene. -Beryl Castle- Now take the left door. Go past the doors and up the stairs to find a chest that contains HOLYWATER. Go back to the main hall and take the right door. Go up the stairs and into the door with a Luna-P next to it. Open the chest for a FRAGRANCE, then go right for a scene. After it's over, open the other two chests for a WHITEROSE and a FILAMIS. Now leave the castle. You won't be able to go back in so if you wanna talk to the people do it now. -North Pole- A scene will play and then you'll regain control. Before you go to the next location, consider this side quest. ***OPTIONAL QUEST*** This is totally optional and you don't have to do it now. In fact, it might be better if you wait a while. If your party is leveled up then you might as well do it now. Take the Ark to Kainess Village. -Kainess Village- Head up to Nabu Cave. -Nabu Cave- Go down the first set of stairs and straight into a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #31 Dragon HP 31500 Difficulty: **** Special Attack: Tempest Recommended Level: 33, 33, 32, 32, 32 Party: Moon, Saturn^, ChibiMoon, Pluto^, Venus^ Experience: 4520 Yen: 10 Prize: Fragrance This battle is not hard if you know what to do and are leveled up. The best strategy is to do what you did with Rubeus. Have Saturn use Death Reborn Revolution while everyone else defends. To make it go faster, have someone use an attack up item on Saturn. *********************************************************************** In the following scene, you'll see that it was Esmaruade posing as the dragon. Be prepared to fight her now... *********************************************************************** BOSS #32 Esmaruade HP 29000 Difficulty: ***** Special Attack: Illusion, Whirlwind Cut, Toxic Mist Recommended Level: 33, 33, 32, 32, 32 Party: Moon, Saturn^, ChibiMoon, Pluto^, Venus^ Experience: 5600 Yen: 5500 Prize: Red Pupil Well, the battle against Esmaruade can be long and hard. I was lucky and never had Illusion or Toxic Mist used on my party but you might not be so lucky. Use the same strategy you used on the Dragon and you'll be fine. It is a must to do an attack up thing on Saturn this time cause the battle will go a lot faster. What's the purpose of this stupid side quest you say? Just look at the prize! *********************************************************************** Enjoy your 2nd Red Pupil and equip it on someone immediately. Now back to the normal stuff. ***END OPTIONAL QUEST*** -North Pole- Now you'll be going to the bottom left corner of this area. Get the BENTOUSET on the way. At thee bottom, go west to enter a village. Enter the castle in the village. -Endymion Castle- Go straight up and watch a scene (I don't think you can get those chests). Now leave the castle or explore to find a few familiar faces. -North Pole- Go back up to the transporter and get on the ark. Press Y to go to a new location or...... ***OPTIONAL AREAS*** There are now two places you can visit that were only ruins before. 1 - Land at Medias Village and go to Marine Lake and down the stairs to the ancient ruins. You will be able to go in the ruins. 2 - Land at Yaga Village and go through the caves to reach Kritayuga. You've been in there with Mars so there's nothing exciting there. Neither location has anything new or interesting and there's no point in going to either of them, but if you're bored you might wanna check them out!lol ***END OF OPTIONAL AREAS*** -Moon Kingdom- Your ark will go up and take you here. Go all the way north and enter the palace. (Talk to the people for some interesting bits, like the skating rink guy) -Moon Palace- Enter the left door and a conversation will take place. After that, re-enter the door and search behind the left curtains for the R.FEATHER. Equip it on Chibi-Moon and search behind the right curtains for the R.RIBBON which protects from all status effects! Go back to the main hall and go up the stairs and through the curtains. Go through the next curtains and up to see a scene and then go back one room. Now go through the right curtains to get a RED ROSE and the DBRACELET for Sailor Moon. Now leave the castle. -Moon Kingdom- Go back to the transport and get on the ark. Press Y again to go back up. -Ruined Moon Kingdom- Go straight up and open the chest to get a MOONSHARD. Now go forward to see a scene in which Sailor Moon will be taken away. Your party will regroup in Sariel Village. -Sariel Village- After the scene, you will have to choose a new group. My choice: Uranus Chibi-Moon Saturn Mars Pluto As always, take whoever you think is good and leave the village. By the way, you need to get every person, even the ones you don't use, leveled up. You'll see why in Chapter 5. Right now, everyone should be at or above Level 30. Go to the Transport Cave. -Transport Cave- Step on the transport and go to the ark. Hit Y on the ark to get back to where you were before. -Ruined Moon Kingdom- Go all the way up and then left and step on the transport looks like a large gray circle. -Moon Kingdom Underground- This is an excellent place for building levels. Make sure all your people are at Level 34 at the least, and walk down a little for a scene to begin. It leads to a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #33 Black Lady HP 32000 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Illusion, Toxic Mist, Whirlwind Cut Recommended Level: 34, 35, 35, 34, 34 Party: Uranus^, Saturn^, ChibiMoon, Pluto^, Mars^ Experience: 15000 Yen: 4000 Prize: Anklet This battle will be a little tough because of Illusion, but it's not really too bad. You can use the Saturn strategy you've been using or you can have everyone use very powerful attacks for a quick battle. Example: Uranus-Space Sword Blaster, Mars-Mars Snake Fire, ChibiMoon- Pink Sugar Blaster, Pluto-Time Stop, and Saturn-Death Reborn Revolution. *********************************************************************** After more conversation, go down and take the first left. Get the R.CHOKER for Chibi-Moon and go left some more for a BATHMEDIC. Go right and down to get a MOON DROP. On this path, head left to see a scene then open the chest for a MOON P. Go left and through the door for the final boss battle in this chapter! *********************************************************************** BOSS #34 Sin HP 30000 Difficulty: **** Special Attack: Illusion, Whirlwind Cut, Toxic Mist Recommended Level: 34, 35, 35, 34, 34 Party: Uranus^, Saturn^, ChibiMoon, Pluto^, Mars^ Experience: 20000 Yen: 11800 Prize: Rias Topaz Now you finally get to see Sin in action! She's much harder than her teammates but she does the usual boss thing, tosses out bad status effects and severely hurts people like Mars, Uranus, etc. There are two good strategies for her. One is the Saturn strategy or whatever you used on Black Lady. Another is to have Pluto constantly use Time Stop (better have some EP refill items) and everyone else attack. I prefer the Saturn method and for an extra punch, use a Manicure or Fragrance on Saturn. *********************************************************************** A scene will follow, and you will be able to save because this is the end of Chapter 4! CHAPTER 5: AFTER THE BATTLE *Note: The enemies in this chapter drop these items - FRAGRANCE, COLOGNE, TOILETTE, NIGIRISET, BENTOUSET, LIFEWATER -Mamoru's Apartment- There is a scene, and you will have Moon, Saturn, Pluto, and Chibi-Moon as your party. Leave the apartment and go to the bus stop. It will take you to Infinity Academy. -Infinity Academy- When the bus drops you off, wait at the bus stop again and you'll be taken to Harumi. -Harumi- Go up one screen to reach the docks. -Harumi Docks- Go right along the bottom of the screen and open the four chests to find a LIFECREPE, NIGIRISET, STUDIOCAP, and a NAKAYOSHI. At the rightmost building, search the top of the big crate to the right to find a STUDIO JUMPER! Now go to Harumi. -Harumi- Take the bus back to Mamoru's Apartment. -Mamoru's Apartment- Take the bus back to Infinity Academy. -Infinity Academy- Go to the left and into the Collector's Shop. -Collector's Shop- Trade in all your collectible items for major cash! Time to spend it! Go back outside. -Infinity Academy- Take the bus to Harumi. -Harumi- Take the bus to....ahhh you know where!lol -Mamoru's Apartment- Now head left into Juuban. -Juuban- Go straight to Usagi's house. -Usagi's House- When you enter, there'll be a short scene. After that, go upstairs and into Shingo's room. There will be a scene followed by an insanely easy boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #35 Kishal HP 15000 Difficulty: * Special Attack: Whirlwind Cut, Illusion Recommended Level: 35, 35, 34 Party: Saturn, Moon, Pluto Recommended Attack: Experience: 20000 Yen: 5000 Prize: None Poor Kishal. This battle will definitely give you a breather from those hard boss battles you've been fighting. Have Moon use Moon Spiral Heart Attack, Saturn use Death Reborn Revolution, and Pluto use Time Stop. If you lose to him, I feel sorry for you. *********************************************************************** After a scene, go back into Juuban. -Juuban- Take care of all your shopping needs now and don't be afraid to spend a large amount of money. It's not like you'll need it for anything else! Some good items to get around 40-50 of are: Fragrance, Cologne, Toilette, and BathMedic. Now go to Hikawa Shrine. -Hikawa Shrine- Enter the Fire Room to see a long scene. You'll end up at Crystal Tokyo. -Crystal Tokyo- You will have to divide your senshi into two teams. Sailor Moon's team will face the Oppositio Senshi and Chibi-Moon's team will face the Death Busters. You are supposed to divide them up story-wise (Moon-Inner Senshi Chibi-Moon-Outer Senshi) but there's a problem with that. Sailor Moon's team won't have Saturn or Pluto, so here is what I recommend: (Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Pluto and Chibi-Moon, Uranus, Neptune, Venus, Saturn) They may sound weird but believe me, it works. Here is how they should be arranged in cluster formation: Jupiter Mercury Uranus Neptune Moon Saturn Mars Pluto Venus Chibi-Moon Now off to Sailor Moon's mission. -Dark Castle- You will automatically be transported here after the scene. There is a Luna-P to save and a Merchant boy is a little bit north inside the castle who will sell you things. Go up into the castle and fight until everyone is at Level 45 at the least. Now go north through the middle of the room and touch the warp. Go south and follow the path right and up. A scene will play out, then go north to the next room for a scene and the boss battles. *********************************************************************** BOSS #36 Marduk HP 30000, Nergal HP 32000 Difficulty: ***** Special Attack: Marduk: Fascination, Hell Thunder Nergal: H-Lame Heart, Dark Fire, Fascination Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: Moon, Mercury^, Mars^, Jupiter^, Pluto^ Experience: 65500 Yen: 75000 Prize: Fragrance, Moon Shard This battle and the next are going to be very similar. All of the Oppositio Senshi have multiple hit attacks that critically injure people like Mars, Uranus, Jupiter, and Venus. You will have to use your strongest multiple attacks to beat them. If you brought my choice party, here's the game plan: Have Moon use the MoonCup to become Super Sailor Moon and everyone else but Pluto defend, who should use Time Stop. Now have Moon use Rainbow Moon Heart Ache, Mars use Flaming Mandala, Jupiter use Coconut Cyclone, and Mercury can use a Fragrance (she's pretty worthless) and Pluto can just defend. Then do it the next round too but have Pluto use a Cologne then the next round everyone should defend except Moon and Pluto and so on. It'll be much easier that way. *********************************************************************** *********************************************************************** BOSS #37 Nabu HP 33000, Ishtar HP 35000 Difficulty: ***** Special Attack: Nabu: Dark Water, HellFreezing, Fascination Ishtar: Hell Shower, Dark Bute, Fascination Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: Moon, Mercury^, Mars^, Jupiter^, Pluto^ Experience: 66485 Yen: 39000 Prize: Fragrance, Moon Drop Do just what you did last battle. It shouldn't be too hard. In my game, Super Sailor Moon's attack was severely hurting Ishtar. It only takes a few rounds and then...... *********************************************************************** *********************************************************************** BOSS #38 Sin HP 45000 Difficulty: ***** Special Attack: Barrier, Evil Surge, Hell Attack Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: Moon, Mercury^, Mars^, Jupiter^, Pluto^ Experience: 45432 Yen: 35000 Prize: Manicure Don't think you've got it easy now, Sin is just as tough as a pair of her teammates. You will have to alter your battle plans slightly to use one target attacks instead of multiple. If you chose my party, here's the plan: The first round should stay the same with Moon using the MoonCup and Pluto with Time Stop. The next round is different though. Mercury, Pluto, and Moon's attacks or item plans should stay the same but Mars will use Mars Snake Fire and Jupiter will use Sparkling Wide Pressure. With the use of a Fragrance, my Moon was taking 7000 away from Sin each hit, not counting everyone else's moves. Once you beat her, you can relax....for a few minutes.lol *********************************************************************** After the next scene, you will resume control of Chibi-Moon's team back at Crystal Tokyo. -Crystal Tokyo- First, walk up and enter a short conversation, now you'll want to level everyone up to at least Level 45 because you'll be fighting 5 bosses and then another in the Crystal Palace. Thankfully, you'll have time to save and heal up after each boss battle here. You can save in all of the open shops. Here is a map: A A - Crystal Palace (all 5 bosses must be defeated to enter) 1 2 | - Green fence | 1-5 - Boss battles (weakest to strongest) 3 | 4 5 Each of the bosses are located at a crystal point (a big pointy crystal). Walk up and touch the point for the boss to appear. When you're ready, go to the first crystal point for a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #39 Eudial HP 25000 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Sonic Wave, Fire Buster Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: ChibiMoon, Saturn^, Uranus^, Neptune^, Venus^ Venus: Venus Wink Sword ChibiMoon: Pink Sugar Blaster* Saturn: Death Reborn Revolution Uranus: Space Sword Blaster Neptune: Pink Sugar Reflection* Experience: 28356 Yen: 5000 Prize: Toilette Eudial's fire attack is very powerful (killed my Venus in one hit!) but she has weak defense so an onslaught of powerful single target attacks should kill her easily. If you brought my recommended group, here's a plan: You can just use the Saturn strategy but also have Uranus attack with Space Sword Blaster and Chibi-Moon use Pink Sugar Blaster. Venus might be better off defending but use Venus Wink Sword if you want. Neptune should just heal and defend. *********************************************************************** After you recuperate from the battle, go to the second crystal point. *********************************************************************** BOSS #40 Mimett HP 20000 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Fascination Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: ChibiMoon, Saturn^, Uranus^, Neptune^, Venus^ Experience: 28087 Yen: 8000 Prize: White Rose Thought Eudial was easy? Mimett will show you a glimpse of why the Death Busters are tough. She will constantly use Fascination so you should hit her with a barrage of attacks to kill her as fast as possible before everyone goes under the control of her move. If you brought my group, do what you did last round but don't have Venus or Neptune defend. They should use whatever power move you can find. *********************************************************************** After you heal up, go to the third crystal point. *********************************************************************** BOSS #41 Tellu HP 28000 Difficulty: *** Special Attack: Illusion, Whirlwind Cut Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: ChibiMoon, Saturn^, Uranus^, Neptune^, Venus^ Experience: 29543 Yen: 9000 Prize: Fragrance She constantly hits with Illusion and Whirlwind Cut, but she's really not too hard. Just hit her with everything you've got. If you brought my group you might want to have Venus defend again. Remember to use a Fragrance if you want to take more damage from the bosses! *********************************************************************** After this, go to the fourth crystal point. *********************************************************************** BOSS #42 Viluy HP 28000 Difficulty: ** Special Attack: Illusion, Whirlwind Cut Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: ChibiMoon, Saturn^, Uranus^, Neptune^, Venus^ Experience: 28553 Yen: 7520 Prize: Bentou Set Viluy is like Tellu in attack, but she is actually easier because of low defense. Just use the same method you used on Tellu. *********************************************************************** Now you can go to the final crystal point. *********************************************************************** BOSS #43 Cyprine HP 25000, Puchirol HP 27000 Difficulty: **** Special Attack: Cyprine: Whirlwind Cut, Illusion Puchirol: Illusion Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: ChibiMoon, Saturn^, Uranus^, Neptune^, Venus^ Experience: 50000 Yen: 8000 Prize: Fragrance, Moon Shard Uh-oh. Another double battle. Well, as usual, upgrade your moves to multi-target attacks and let them fly because you are sure to be Illusioned like crazy in this battle. Have plenty of BathMedics on hand. If you brought my group, here's the master plan: Have Uranus use World Shaking, Saturn use Death Reborn Revolution, Neptune use items or use Submarine Reflection, Chibi-Moon use Pink Sugar Blaster on a witch of your choice, and Venus use Crescent Beam Shower. Just have patience for this one. *********************************************************************** Now go up and enter the Crystal Palace. -Crystal Palace- If you have your puzzle completed (you most likely do) then go ahead and collect your prize by entering one the archways beside the staircase and going into the top right room. Talk to the boy in pink and you'll get 10 ANGEL PINS! It is a necessity that you have these if you want the game's good ending! Now go back to the main hall and go north up the stairs and continue going north through all the small conversations until you reach Anshar. Time for a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #44 Anshar HP 35000 Difficulty: * Special Attack: Whirlwind Cut Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: ChibiMoon, Saturn^, Uranus^, Neptune^, Venus^ Experience: 55432 Yen: 50000 Prize: None Well, obviously Anshar doesn't inherit toughness from his sister. This battle is very easy. Just hit him with your usual one target strategy. *********************************************************************** Now there will be a lengthy scene and you'll end up at the Time-Space Door. -Time-Space Door- You will have to pick new groups. Here's what I say: Moon Uranus Pluto Neptune Saturn Don't worry about Chibi-Moon's team cause you won't be using them. If you can't tell, arrange the party in victory formation. Now go up to the door for a scene, then go in. Go up and, after the scene, enter the tower. -Tower of Time- Now go through the tower the same way you did last time until you reach the room where the Dimension Tree was. This time, Apsu will be waiting for you. Time for a boss battle. *********************************************************************** BOSS #45 Apsu HP 72000 Difficulty: ***** Special Attack: Dark Sun, Toxic Mist Recommended Level: 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+, 45+ Party: Moon, Saturn^, Pluto^, Uranus^, Neptune^ Experience: 4464 Yen: 18928 Prize: None Apsu is definitely the most difficult boss you've faced yet. She has high HP, good defense, and a killer attack that wipes out anyone who's low in defense. The best method of attack is the Pluto Time Stop method that I recommended for the Oppositio Senshi. Here's what to do with the group: First round, have Moon transform with the MoonCup and Pluto use Time Stop and Saturn use Death Reborn Revolution (she'll be using that every round) and everyone else defend. Next round, have Moon attack with Rainbow Moon Heart Ache, Uranus use Space Sword Blaster, Neptune use a move of your choice, and Pluto use a Fragrance, the next round is the same but Pluto will use a Cologne so next round she can Time Stop and so on. This battle takes time but just keep on attacking. *********************************************************************** After that, a long scene will commence and you'll end up back in Crystal Palace. -Crystal Palace- After a long scene, you will be ready to prepare for the final battle. You will have to go down in the basement and make teams first. You will have to decide which ending you want. Moon's team will go out first and if they win, you get the good ending. If they die, Chibi-Moon's team comes in and faces a considerably easier form of the boss and gets the worse ending. Of course you're gonna wanna get the good ending right? So here are good winning team ideas: Mars Moon Mars Chibi-Moon Uranus Uranus Saturn Pluto Jupiter Pluto Whichever team you decide you want to end the game with is going to need to level up to at least Level 55. So go outside and fight for levels. You'll also need a good supply of items. The most needed item is Cologne. Have around 50-60 of those for the final battle. Now we'll talk about the accessories. You need to have those Angel Pins to do well in the final fight. The Red Pupils and R.Ribbon are also a must. Here's what to do with them according to your people: Attack Senshi: (Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Uranus) - 3 Angel Pins Defense-Attack Senshi: (Moon, Saturn) - 2 Angel Pins and a Red Pupil Defense Senshi: (Mercury, Neptune, Pluto, Chibi-Moon) - Special Accessories (Meaning their senshi-specific accessories) The reason for the multiple Angel Pin thing is simple. If you hadn't noticed, the people that are Attack Senshi tend to get wiped out with one hit. The Angel Pins will help greatly with their defense. Anyway, once you are prepared for the boss, go down the stairs where all the rooms are, down again, save at Luna-P and down those stairs, go around Chibi-Moon's team and through the door to face the final boss. *********************************************************************** BOSS #46 Demon Apsu HP 120000 Difficulty: *****+ Special Attack: Sonic Wave, FanDoSheckle, Hell Attack Recommended Level: 55+, 55+, 55+, 55+, 55+ Party: Moon, Saturn^, Pluto^, Uranus^, Mars^ Experience: 0 Yen: 0 Prize: None Well here she is...the final boss! There's really nothing complicated about fighting her. You'll need to use the Pluto Time Stop strategy that you've, hopefully, used on the Oppositio Senshi and Apsu before. Remember that basically only Moon and Saturn can withstand a Hell Attack or FanDoSheckle. When you've Time Stopped her, attack with all your might. My Uranus was taking 9999 with Space Sword Blaster! If you've leveled, it really shouldn't be as difficult as you might think. *********************************************************************** Well you've beat the game! Enjoy your ending and thanks for reading this! ---------------------------------------------- VIII. PUZZLE ---------------------------------------------- There are 180 puzzle pieces total to collect. 8 pieces are hidden and the rest are won from battle. Here is a list of the hidden ones and what mission they are found in: Sailor Mercury 1. In the second town, just keep walking right until you reach a group of barrels. The middle one has the puzzle piece! 2. In the second town, go to the south-west corner and you will see a group of barrels. The puzzle piece will be in one. Sailor Jupiter 3. After leaving the first town, head into the forest where the battles are. Walk straight up and into the trees. Keep walking up until you reach a clearing. The man there will give you a puzzle piece. 4. In the second town, enter the house above the Inn. One of the jars contains a puzzle piece. 5. Head around the side of the house that piece #4 was in. The puzzle piece is in a group of barrels. 6. In the second town outside the Item Shop, there is a group of barrels. Search them to find the puzzle piece. 7. When you are escaping the house in the second town, the small bucket with a gleam of light on it contains a puzzle piece. Sailor Venus 8. In the first town, there is a house in the lower left corner. Go into the house above that house. Search the two big jars in the house because one will have the final puzzle piece. After you collect the entire puzzle, you can collect a great prize. When you go to Crystal Tokyo at the end of the game, go into the palace. Enter one the archways below the stairs, then go to the top right room. Talk to the merchant boy dressed in pink and he'll give you the Imperial Gift, which is a set of 10 Angel Pins!!! ---------------------------------------------- IX. FORMATION ---------------------------------------------- Formations are a very important factor in this game. The position of a character determines her attack, defense, and evade stats. If you are close to an enemy you will have high attack but low defense and evade and if you're far away then your evade and defense are high but attack is low. You can put your most powerful character at the front to get lots of damage on enemies or you can put a middle character there, to even out everything. Just make sure that weak people are not up front! Here are the available formations: Shoot Formation: Here the Senshi are arranged in a straight line. This is a good start-of-the-game formation because your characters will be pretty even in stats and this is the well-rounded formation. However, this formation has a bad special attack and weaker people can be hurt a little more than desired. Arrow Formation: There is one Senshi in the front, two in the second row, and two in the back row, forming a < sign. An attacker with great defense should be placed at the point if you use this. The back row characters can be used to heal but you will mostly have to depend on your front 3 Senshi to do everything. Not my fav formation. Victory Formation: The opposite of Arrow, it forms a > sign. This is a definite power formation. You should have 4 powerhouses and 1 weakling to make this formation run smooth. Your weakling will be near invincible placed at the point. Cluster Formation: This is my favorite formation but I advised for it to be used only near the end of the game because it has low defense. It's similar to the Arrow but it deals much more damage. 2 power people can be placed up front while a defense person with a good attack (Moon/Saturn) can be placed in the middle. 2 weaker people can be put at the end for healing. Here are the formation attacks (all attacks affect all enemies). Which attack you can use will depend on your formation. The last attack can only be used with Moon, Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter. It doesn't matter which formation you're in for this attack. Remember that only the first person in your party to act can choose to use a formation technique. A good thing to do is to have the person select an attack, then have everyone else defend so you conserve EP and if any enemies survive, your group will be mostly invulnerable to their attacks! Sailor Shoot Attack: 5EP. Sailor Arrow Attack: 6EP. SailorVictory Attack: 8EP. SailorCluster Attack: 10EP. Sailor Planet Attack: 12EP. ---------------------------------------------- XI.
