GAME INTRODUCTION
=================

     Gangs have become an all too familiar enemy to lead the criminal 
influence on the streets of L.A. as well as on the east coast of Mexico.  
However, one man who walks in the shadows has been able to unify the 
rival gangs of the east coast of Mexico and the west coast of the United 
States for one sole purpose.  This purpose is to wreak havoc and chaos 
against society by controlling the streets and therefore rendering law 
enforcement officials helpless and hopeless to stop them.

     The United States government and the Mexican government have 
decided to ban together to produce a task force to combat this major 
threat.  The United States has chosen to send Jack Flak, one of L.A.'s 
finest law enforcement officers.  Mexico has chosen to send Major Oozie 
Nelson, one of Mexico's best military personnel.  Together, they will 
infiltrate the gangs on their own turf from the inside-out.  Will you be 
able to survive the hoards of gangs that will stop at nothing to destroy 
you.  The time is now to fight them on "rival turf."

MAIN CHARACTERS
===============

JACK FLACK

HEIGHT:  6ft 0in
WEIGHT:  190lbs
EYES  :  Brown
HAIR  :  Brown

    Jack Flak is the faster fighter of the task force.  His moves are 
lightning fast but do not do as much damage as his counterpart Oozie.  
However, he is the better all around choice of the two main characters.

     Oozie Nelson  is the stronger fighter of the task force.  His moves 
are slower than Jack Flak's but inflict more damage on enemy gang 
members.  He is a good choice for the more advanced player.

POWER UPS/ITEMS
===============

     These weapons and power ups are scattered throughout each level of 
the game.  Most of them can be found by busting open crates, taking out 
trashcans, and destroying oil drums.  Others can be found in pain sight.

KNIFE:  Pick up this sharp bladed weapon and throw it at a gang member 
to cut some of his life meter off.

ROCK:  Pick up this blunt object and project it at any gang member to 
stun him dead in his tracks.

BRICK:  Finding one of these clay objects will enable you to nail a gang 
member at a safe distance much like the rock.

DYNAMITE STICK:  When you find one of these explosive sticks, you will 
be able to toss it in an attempt to blow up any gang member.

GRENADE:  Picking up one of these explosive devices will enable you to 
blow up any unsuspecting gang member.  Just pull the pin and let it fly.

IRON WRENCH:  This mechanic's tool is good for bashing gang members into 
oblivion at medium range.  It has the longest reach of the two melee 
weapons that you will find.

BASEBALL BAT:  Finding this aluminum bat will enable you to take a crack 
at any gang member that approaches.  Swing for the fences!

SODA:  Finding a can of this carbonated drink will replenish a small 
portion of your health meter.

SUSHI:  Finding and eating this uncooked meal will replenish 
approximately 70 percent of your health meter.

ROAST CHICKEN:  Finding and eating this juicy meal will recover 
approximately 80 percent of your health meter.


============
GANG MEMBERS
============

BULLET:  These foot soldiers are a dime a dozen.  They will usually try 
to punch you but they usually are too slow.  Pummel them with ease or 
throw them around like garbage bags.

CASE:  These foot soldiers are also plentiful but wear a helmet for 
protection.  Grab this gang member like a crash test dummy and send them 
flying through the air, crashing through other gang members via the 
shoulder throw or powerbomb.

SKINNY:  These tall, bald, and lanky gang member is the explosives' 
expert of the bunch.  They like to kick the crap out of you with 
sidekicks at close range.  Also, they like to chuck dynamite sticks at 
you from a safe distance as well.  When they get in close, punch away.

REGGIE:  These gang members fight exactly like Skinny but they have long 
hair like a hippie and smile an awful lot.  Knock that stupid smile of 
their faces when they get in close enough.

WARRIOR:  These gang members are huge and can put up a decent fight.  If 
you get too close, they will unleash a hundred hand assault.  Their long 
range attack is a Whirlwind Kick from afar.  When they miss with this 
awesome technique, attack them with a combo of your own.

DINGO:  This name definitely fits what these gang members look like.  
Also, this fighter fights like his Warrior counterpart.  Beat the heck 
out of him just for having a wussy name like that.

BUTCH:  These big, heavy, gang members are very strong but also very 
slow.  He will try to stiff arm you, but you should be able to dodge 
with ease.  If it connects, it does medium damage.  His long range 
attack is a flying elbow.  If this move connects, it will deal a rather 
large amount of damage.  So dodge if you see this 280 pounder take to 
the air.

LOUIE:  These gang members fight with the same intensity as Butch.  The 
only difference is that they do not wear shades and look more like Curly 
from the Three Stooges.  Knuk, Knuk, Knuk!  When they land from missing 
the elbow, pick up these heavy bodies and toss them at other gang 
members.

GORO:  These martial arts experts are strong components of the gang.  
They bear a striking resemblance to a certain Street Fighter.  **cough** 
Ryu **cough**.  They like to throw Dragon Kicks.  Also, if they have the 
chance to get in close, they will throw your behind to the curb.

KATO:  These martial art experts also learned from the same school that 
Goro did.  They also like to throw backward Dragon Kicks as well if you 
try to attack them.  Both Kato and Goro should be met with caution.

ARNOLD:  The heavy muscle of the gang.  These muscular gang members hit 
hard with those big hands that they have.  Also, they sports the 
Terminator shades to boot.  Finally, don't get in too close or you will 
be terminated when he grabs you and performs a DDT on your noggin.

GIGANTE:  Couldn't they think of a better name for these gang members?  
Anyway, they mimic Arnold's style of fighting and will hurt you bad if 
you do not take care of them first.

GENIE:  Boss of the Streets of L.A.  He looks and dresses like a genie, 
turban and all.  He also carries around a saber and is pretty skilled at 
using it well.  However, his weakness is that he relies on it way too 
much.

SLEDGE:  Boss of L.A. Stadium.  He wears a rugged jogging suit and 
carries an air horn.  His big move is that he jumps up in the air and 
will powerdive at you by attacking with a double overhand smash.  This 
leaves him wide open if he misses you.  Also, he uses the air horn to 
call for backup.

SLASHER:  Boss of the Skyscraper.  He looks like a ninja with a skull 
mask on his face and the pony tail sticking out in the back.  As the 
name implies, he will try to slash you with his claw.  Also, he will 
jump to the high ledge and will try to dive slash you.  If he misses, he 
is wide open for attacks.  If he connects...

CAPTAIN:  Boss of South Mountain.  The Captain is a big boy who will use 
the big foot to bring you down.  If he misses with it, he is left wide 
open.  Also, watch out how close you get to him because he will grab 
you.  If he does it is all over...well almost.  He will lift you up by 
the throat for a couple of seconds and then choke slam you to the 
ground.  Very painful indeed.

ICE MAN:  Boss of the Southern Port.  This dude is huge and moves with 
the quickness of a Mexican Wrestler.  Also, he wears the mask like a 
Luchador!  He likes to throw spinning roundhouses and only has a split 
second of weakness when he gets dizzy.  He gets the nickname because he 
put his opponents on ice.

BIG AL:  The man who united the rival gangs and found at the Hideout.  
He is a master of the dark arts and his martial arts skills are 
unrivaled.  This is the gang leader who you must defeat in order to 
cripple the criminal influence.  Bringing down Big Al will send a ripple 
through the criminal underground.  He only weakness is his temper and 
rage.  Use this against him to conquer.


======================
GENERAL TIPS AND HINTS
======================

+  Before you start a game, go into the "Options Menu" and turn on ANGRY 
MODE.  This way if your character takes too much punishment, he will get 
ticked off and will begin to flash.  Now you can do some serious damage 
and will be invincible to attack for a limited period of time.

+  When attacking gang members, try to zig zag so they cannot get a bead 
on you.  Most of the time, they will try to approach you and will run 
right into your fists.

+  To use your special attack, you will have to have at least five kill 
icons in your inventory.  Save them for when you are surrounded by 
multiple enemies.

+  When there are no weapons to use on enemies, try using a gang member 
as a flying projectile to knock down multiple attackers via a throw 
attack.

+   Each boss has a specific pattern.  Study the pattern and exploit the 
weakness in order to find the hole in their attacks and overcome.

+  Destroy oil drums, crates, and trashcans that are lying around in 
order to uncover hidden weapons and powerups.

+  Finally, here are the way that health meters are set up for the 
enemies.  Some gang members have larger lifelines than other.  Here are 
the colors Aqua being the highest and black being dead.  They are aqua, 
light blue, purple, yellow, dark green, pink, orange, light green, red, 
and black meaning you have lost a life.  Use this to keep track of how 
much life the boss of the level has left before he is defeated.

WALKTHROUGH
===========

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
POLICE STATION:  Streets of L.A.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

     You will start your mission in front of the police station.  The 
first gang member you get to beat on is Bullet.  Then, Case will jump in 
from the left.  Grab Case and throw him into Bullet who comes in from 
the right.  After disposing of these three enemies, another Case will 
approach from the left.  He will have a lot more life than the others 
but should be easy to kick around.  Then, move on to the right.  Watch 
the cage fences at the top of the screen.  When Bullet jumps out, grab 
him and throw him into Skinny who is off screen to the right.  Then 
dispose of Skinny and Case who will appear from the left.  Also, another 
Skinny will approach from the left.  Use their heads as target practice 
and when the Go Arrow flashes, continue walking to the right down 61st 
Street.

     Keep your eyes peeled on the bar.  When Bullet comes crashing out 
of the first window, throw him into Skinny who is off screen to the 
right.  Then, Case will bust out of the other window.  Repeat what you 
just did to Bullet.  Next, you will have to defeat another Case that 
appears from the right.  When these three morons have been defeated, 
proceed to the right and bust open the trashcan to find a refreshing 
soda.  Then, beat up on Case, Warrior, and Skinny anyway you choose to.  
My favorite way and a really good tip is to Suplex Warrior and then 
immediately walk over to him and throw him into Skinny.  This method 
works on almost any gang member and does double damage to the individual 
being thrown.  After these goons have been taken care of, it is time to 
hop on the transit bus that pulls up.

     When you get on the bus, you do not have to pay the toll.  You will 
however have to contend with another Case and Bullet as passengers look 
on with no emotion.  I guess this is normal on L.A. buses.  After these 
two are defeated, grab Skinny when he approaches from the left and throw 
him into Warrior who jumps in from the right.  Then pummel Warrior into 
a lifeless heap.  Next up is Skinny and Bullet who want to rumble with 
you from the right.  Make quick work of them and move on to the right 
when the Go Arrow prompts you to by flashing.

     Case will then make an appearance from the left.  Grab him and 
throw him to the right.  When you walk to the right, you will find a 
nice knife on the ground.  Give Skinny a rude awakening when he gets off 
of the seat by playing catch with him.  I guess he is not too good at 
it.  Then take out Butch by throwing his big body all over the inside of 
the bus.  After defeating these two, you will have to kick the crap out 
of another Butch and Bullet.  When you have won the battle against these 
losers, get off at the next stop.  The bus will stop automatically and 
let you off.

     The bus has taken you to outside of City Stadium but there is still 
business to take care of.  Walk to the right and bust open the crate.  
Here you will uncover a tasty Roast Chicken.  Eat up and replenish your 
health meter.  Then, take out your frustrations on Skinny and Bullet 
just because they are there.  When you dispose of one of them, Goro will 
join in from the left.  Throw Skinny into Goro and then wait for Goro to 
miss with his Dragon Kick.  Do not try to Dragon Kick him because he 
will use a backwards Dragon Kick of his own in defense.  When you have 
finished with this threesome, follow the Go Arrow and make quick work 
out of Bullet and Case.  Then, wait until Warrior does his Whirlwind 
Kick and lands from the right.  Now, tag him with a Combo of your own.  
You get to beat on another Bullet as well.  Also, when Skinny appears 
from the left, Dragon Kick him until he keels over.  Now, proceed to the 
right where you will see Genie doing some chin ups.  He will fall to the 
ground and get up, ready to fight you!

GENIE BOSS BATTLE:  Genie is the first boss that you will fight and he 
is really easy to defeat.  He has four life bars as indicated by his 
Pink life meter.  First, he will bite his Saber like a touch guy and 
then he will come after you.  First, pick him up and throw him into 
Bullet who approaches from the left.  Then, Dragon Kick him in the 
middle when he approaches with that sword.  He will drop it when you 
successfully Dragon Kick him but do not pick it up because it will do 
you no good.  Now, all that you have to do is stand in front of the 
sword and either Dragon Kick him or Combo him to death.  He will be 
hell-bent on trying to recover that sword because he thinks that he 
cannot fight without it.  By the way, if Goro appears from the right, 
just throw Genie into him to take care of him.  Finally, when Genie is 
defeated, any gang member in the area who is left standing will run 
away.  Stage 1 is now cleared.


++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
CITY STADIUM:  L.A. City Stadium
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

     You will start this stage in the lower deck of the stadium.  Man 
these are good seats.  Walk to the right where the two Goro brothers are 
sitting.  To the right of them is a trashcan.  Kick it open to find a 
knife.  Pick it up and throw it at the Goro when they leap out of the 
seats to face you.  Then, grab the other Goro and toss him into Bullet 
who appears from the left.  Next, you will have to contend with Goro, 
Warrior, and Bullet all at the same time.  Three on one should be no 
problem to you.  Just use your Breakdance Kick or Spinning Clothesline 
if you get overwhelmed.  When you dispose of one of these three, watch 
out for Skinny who appears in the bottom left.  He will start throwing 
dynamite sticks at you.  Just grab him after he throws two sticks and 
toss him to the right.  Also, Reggie with that goofy smile will appear 
from the left.  Take him out as quickly as possible as you have already 
done to Skinny.  Move on to the right when the Go Arrow flashes.

     When you move to the right, grab Bullet and toss him to the right.  
Then, when Goro jumps out from his seat, immediately grab him and 
shoulder throw him to the right.  Destroy Bullet and then give Case a 
good thrashing when he appears to the right.  After disposing of Case 
and Goro, Arnold will appear from the bottom right.  After he tries to 
grab you, use a Combo attack of your own on him.  Then, you will have to 
defeat Skinny and Bullet who decide to jump in.  The best way to defeat 
the goons here is to use Dragon Kicks and by throwing gang members into 
each other alternatively.  This method will usually leave Arnold left.  
After you terminate Arnold, he will be back.  Now you will then enter 
the locker room area.

     It smells like Icy Hot and Old Spice in here.  Look at the dented 
locker above you.  When Bullet jumps out from being stuffed in the 
locker to the right of it, pound away at him.  Proceed to the right and 
deja vu!  No surprise here.  When another Bullet busts out of the 
locker, toss him into Case as he approaches from the left.  Then, beat 
on Case for a bit.  If you get bored, do not worry.  Skinny will jump in 
from the right as well as the Warrior.  Continue to toss enemy gang 
members around until all three of them have been retired.  Then, move on 
to the right when the Go Arrow flashes.

     Next, when Skinny gets up from the bench, immediately toss him to 
the right.  Also, his sidekick Reggie and Case will try to beat up on 
you.  Just use them as human punching bags.  However, here is where the 
party just begins.  Next, you will have to take on Goro, Kato, and 
Arnold all at the same time.  Gulp!  My advice to you is to key in on 
Arnold from the right and throw him into Kato from the left.  Then, if 
anybody gets too close, either grab and throw them or use your Special 
Attack once or twice.  Just do not let Arnold DDT you.  When two of 
these foes have been defeated, Reggie will appear from the left.  Good, 
grab that SOB and throw him into the weakened Kato or Goro.  Then pound 
the snot out of him.  When he is defeated, you will exit the locker room 
and the action will spill into the parking area.

     If you walk to the right in the parking area, you will find a tasty 
Roast Chicken.  However, Dingo and Case are guarding it.  Grab whoever 
gets in the way first and toss them into the other one.  Then chow down 
on that chicken.  Before you can finish, Skinny will join into the fray.  
Dispose of these three idiots by tossing bodies around and by using the 
Dragon Kick often.  After disposing of these two or three gang members, 
Skinny will approach from the right.  Remember, always go after the 
weaker gang member first to try to get Goro in a one on one fight 
situation.  After defeating Goro, walk to the right where you can pick 
on Skinny.  After he has been trounced upon, you will have to brawl with 
Case and Bullet from the right and Goro from the left.  Grab either Case 
or Bullet and propel them into Goro.  Reggie and Kato will join the 
rumble when two gang members have been defeated.  Just alternate between 
butt whoopings until all three have been brought to their knees.

     When the Go Arrow flashes, advance to the right to pick a fight 
with Dingo and Case.  After taking care of one of these enemies, another 
Dingo will approach from the left.  Watch out for his hundred hand slap 
technique.  Two Skinny henchmen will jump in from the left to replace 
the fallen Dingo members.  Mess them up by throwing your fists and feet 
at them.  After beating up the Skinny henchmen, the Go Arrow will flash, 
prompting you to go to the right.  Stay at the top of the screen, 
because you do not want to get flattened by the car that races by in the 
middle.  Dragon Kick at Sledge when he appears on the right with that 
rugged jogging suit on.

SLEDGE BOSS BATTLE:  Sledge is a little bit tougher to beat but not by 
much.  He also has five life bars which accounts for his Dark Green life 
meter.  First, grab one of the two Bullet Gang members that jumped from 
the car and throw him into Sledge.  Next, run over to Sledge and throw 
him to the left.  Now, wait until he gets back up.  Now Dragon Kick into 
him.  When he attempts to do his Jumping Double Overhand Smash, Dragon 
Kick into him and you will both miss but you will land behind him.  
Immediately turn and grab him.  Then drive him into ground with the 
Suplex.  When you see him pull out his air horn, get out of the middle 
of the street because backup is coming and will jump out of the car as 
it flies by.  Then, repeat the process from the beginning.  Usually, 
when you throw Sledge around, you will also take out the Bullet henchmen 
in the process.  With enough Dragon Kicks and Shoulder Throws, Sledge 
will go down for the count.  Stage 2 is now cleared!

SKY SCRAPER:  Things Are Looking Up
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

     You will then start in the downtown streets.  If you bust open the 
oil drum to the right, you will find a stinking rat.  However, if you 
try to pick it up, it will scamper off!  Now, you will fight a weakened 
Reggie and a strong Case.  After you rid yourself of these two enemies, 
a Go Arrow will prompt you to move to the right.  Here, you will find a 
brick at the bottom in the street.  Pick it up and throw it at the two 
Bullet guys that appear from the right.  This will soften them up a bit.  
Then grab Skinny from the left and launch him into the Bullet henchmen 
to finish off the job.  Then, you will have to contend with another 
Skinny that graces your presence to the left.  Dodge his sidekicks and 
belt him a couple.  Another Go Arrow will remind you to keep moving.

     Next, look at the bums sitting and lying on the curb and sidewalk.  
When the two Skinny gang members and Reggie gets up to fight you, get in 
there and mix it up with them.  Just watch out when Skinny goes off 
screen to toss dynamite sticks at you.  After you have disposed of the 
trio, move on to the right where you will have to battle not one but two 
Arnold henchmen and Case.  Also, knocking over the oil drum will reveal 
a knife for you to use.  Pick it up and throw it at Arnold to soften him 
up a bit.  After defeating Case, another Skinny will appear from the 
left.  Human catapult him into Arnold and watch out for Arnold's big 
hands.  After surviving the pump you up attack, the Go Arrow prompts you 
to head to the right.

     Now, you will have to contend with Butch, Louie, and Bullet.  Now 
is the time to have a field day by tossing these heavy bodies all over 
the place.  When one of these jerks are defeated, a Case will take his 
place.  Just punch right through him.  Your next two rivals will be 
Reggie and Gigante.  Just continue to alternate between attackers until 
there is no one left standing.  Then you will automatically ride the 
elevator all the way to the top of the Skyscraper.  Enjoy the minute 
ride up filled with peace and quiet.  Sorrow, no elevator music is 
playing in the background.

     When you finally reach the top, run to the right and feast on the 
Roast Chicken.  Then prepare to battle the two Skinny squatters and 
Louie.  Your best bet is to Shoulder Throw Louie around.  When one of 
these thugs is defeated, Butch will join the mix from the left.  He may 
be big but he is awfully dumb.  After two gang members are defeated, 
Case and Bullet will try to get in the action.  Whatever.  Just have a 
blast by dishing out some serious pain to them.  When all is clear, you 
will be presented with a real challenge.  Now you will have to square 
off against Kato, Goro, and Skinny all at the same time.  This is 
definitely the time to get serious and kick a lot of tail!  Remember, if 
you get surrounded, start using that Special Attack of yours.  You 
cannot take them with you.  After surviving this big obstacle, move on 
to the right to take on Slasher, who is definitely no slouch when it 
comes to taking opponents apart.

SLASHER BOSS BATTLE:  Slasher will be standing on top of the ledge.  He 
has six life bars which is denoted by his Light Yellow life meter.  He 
will jump down to greet you and it will not be pleasant either.  Jump 
into him with a Dragon Kick when he goes for a Double Axe Thrust.  When 
he lands, grab him quickly and send him for a ride.  Also, Goro and Case 
will join the scuffle.  When they come on the screen, grab either one 
and toss them into Slasher via the Shoulder Throw.  Now when Slasher 
leaps back onto the ledge, get the heck out of his way because he will 
try to nail you with his Claw Dive Attack.  Finally, the best way to 
defeat Slasher is to run and then hit the attack button for a running 
Dragon Kick and then run away from him until he get up and then repeat.  
Also, other gang members like Butch, Case, and Skinny will join the 
fray.  Definitely grab them and throw them into Slasher every chance you 
get.  With a little luck and a lot of skill, this skilled fighter will 
be defeated.  Then, a helicopter will fly by to pick you up and will 
drop you off south of the border.  This stage is now cleared and it is 
time to move out.

SOUTHERN MT.:  South of the Border
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

     The helicopter will make an emergency landing into the jungle.  
Then proceed to the right where you will have to rumble with Reggie, 
Bullet, and Case.  Use this as a warm-up bout.  After making mince meat 
out of these three,  you will then have to do battle with Gigante from 
the left, and Reggie and Bullet from the right.  Just continue to use 
your Shoulder Throw to toss the weaker gang members into Gigante.  Then 
pound on Reggie until he is defeated.  Now, advance to the right where 
you will find a rock lying on the ground.  Pick it up and heave it at 
one of the two Goro thugs that approach from either side.  Also, you 
will have to defend against a Bullet as well.  More like a dud I'd say.  
Just be cautious when fighting Goro because he like to be aggressive by 
getting in close to try to throw you into the ground.  When two of the 
three gang members are disposed of, your next two opponents are Kato and 
Case who will appear from both sides.  Use Case as a crash test dummy 
and throw him into Kato.  After everyone has been eliminated, advance to 
the right.

     Next, just walk right up to Dingo, and insult him by Should 
Throwing him into the ground.  He should be easy to defeat.  Then, you 
will have to mix it up with another Dingo and Reggie. When either of 
these two gang members have been retired, Gigante will make his presence 
known to the left.  Just alternate between beating on Dingo and Gigante.  
When one of these punks is out for good, Case will jump in from the 
right.  Case should be very easy to deal with because he is not that 
good of a fighter.  When all is said and done, you will move on to what 
looks like an abandoned prison area.

     Run to the right and break open the oil drum.  Here, you will 
uncover a Dynamite Stick.  Then, you will be able to use it against the 
two Reggie twins or Bullet.  When the gang member that you exploded has 
been defeated, Case will hop on in to take his place.  After Reggie and 
Case have been disposed of, you will have to battle with Reggie and Kato 
who appear to the left.  When Kato gets close or misses with a Dragon 
Kick, grab him and crash him into Reggie.  After everyone has been 
defeated, the flashing Go Arrow will guide you to the right.

     Here, you will get to wage a battle royal with Case, Bullet, and 
Reggie when he gets up from sitting in the corner.  When two of the gang 
members have been eliminated, Bullet will enter the scene from the right 
and Case will appear from the left.  Use these fights to build up your 
Special Attack meter.  Then, when all has been defeated, the Go Arrow 
prompts you to move on to the right.  When you see the oil drum to the 
right, bust it open to find a grenade.  Then, pull the pin and let it 
fly in the direction of Gigante who attacks from the right.  Now, the 
battle gets a little more interesting because Dingo and Kato decide to 
join Gigante in trying to eliminate you.  Just remember to rotate 
between taking gang members apart.  After one of these thugs is 
defeated, Case will join in on the fun to the left.  After you emerge 
victorious from this battle, Proceed to the right.

     Now, you will find Reggie lying down on the job.  When he gets up, 
toss him into one of the Kato brothers.  When Reggie has been defeated, 
concentrate on throwing Case into Kato or by actually throwing Kato if 
you get the chance.  After two of the three have been defeated, Reggie 
and Bullet will join the mix from the left.  These two goofs actually 
think that they can provide you with a challenge.  Continue to knock 
them silly until they are no more.  When nobody is left standing, the Go 
Arrow will flash which means walk to the right.

     Bust open the oil drum to the right and eat up the Roast Chicken to 
replenish most if not all of your life meter.  Your going to need it 
because you will now have to contend with Butch, Louie, and Kato all at 
the same time.  Just take turns throwing Louie and Butch into Kato to 
weaken him up a bit.  After disposing of two of the three henchmen, 
Dingo and Case will come out of the building to pick a fight with you.  
Just open up a can of whoop ass and unleash the fury of your fists on 
them.  When you are finished pummeling these goons into the ground, you 
will automatically be transported to the edge of the dock.

     When you have arrived, you will have to exchange blows with Kato 
and Case.  When one of these gang members has been defeated, Bullet will 
jump in from the right.  Man, this cretin never learns.  After taking 
down Bullet and Kato, another Case will approach from the right and 
Reggie will jump in from the left.  Just alternate between the two 
attackers and watch out for when Reggie decides to start chucking 
dynamite sticks at you.  After you have successfully taken out this duo 
of thugs, you will have to deal with another Kato and Reggie.  Take them 
out in the same manner that you have been doing and then move on to the 
right where the Captain has a bone to pick with you.

CAPTAIN BOSS BATTLE:  The Captain is pretty fast for a man of his 
stature so keep moving and stay out of his reach.  He also has six life 
bars as denoted by the Dark Purple life meter.  He also likes to throw 
the sliding Big Foot Attack at you.  The easiest way to defeat the 
Captain is to Dragon Kick him, then retreat by running away, and then 
run at him and Dragon Kick him again.  If you try to mix it up with 
punch combos, he will surly grab you and choke slam you into the ground, 
hard!  Also, if any Bullet gang members decide to show their face, just 
grab them and throw them into the Captain.  Finally, if you miss with 
the Dragon Kick, keep moving and try it again.  Slowly but surly, you 
will wear down the Captain.  When the Captain's life meter is all black, 
he will be defeated.  If any Bullet henchmen are still in the area, they 
will run away.  This signals clearance of Stage 4.

SOUTHERN PORT:  Dockyard Brawl
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

     After commandeering the Captain's Boat, you will end up on the dock 
of the bay.  But the welcoming committee of three Skinny punks will be 
there to greet I mean beat you.  After making quick work out of these 
three goofs, you will have to battle it out with Case and Bullet who 
approach from the right.  Grab any one of these gang members and toss 
them into Goro who appears from the right.  Then, deal with Goro man to 
man when presented with the chance.  Wait for him to miss with on of 
those Dragon kicks, and then go in for the kill with a Combo of your 
own.  Case will usually jump in from the right but he should be no 
threat to you.  Just pick him up and toss him to the ground.  The Go 
Arrow will flash which means you must progress to the right.

     When you get there, you will have to battle it out with Louie, 
Butch, and Case.  Just alternate between attackers by throwing them into 
each other.  That will show them.  When two of the gang members have 
been trashed, Bullet will approach from the right to try to finish the 
job.  Take him down with ease.  Do not get too cocky because now when 
you move on to the right, you will have to slug it out with Gigante, 
Kato, and Arnold all at the same time.  However, if you bust open the 
crate in the middle, you will find a grenade to use at your disposal.  
My advice to you is to Dragon Kick into one of the big boys.  If you 
miss, grab them immediately and Should Throw them hopefully into Kato.  
After one of the threesome has been terminated, another Arnold will jump 
into the rumble from the right.  After all three thugs have been knocked 
out for the ten count, the Go Arrow will prompt you to move on.

     Here, you will get to test your fighter prowess against Kato, Goro, 
and Bullet.  When two of these foes have been disposed of, Reggie will 
come in from the left to mix it up with you.  Knock that stupid smile 
off his face by throwing a Combo to bring him down.  Next up, you will 
have to contend with the trio of Kato, Warrior, and Gigante.  Do not 
panic, if you can isolate on of your attackers by throwing them, you 
will have a better chance of persevering.  Also, if you get surrounded, 
keep throwing Dragon Kicks to clear some room.  After all comers have 
been totally destroyed, you will automatically enter the storage area to 
the right through the garage door opening.

     When inside, you will find a brick lying around.  Pick it up and 
throw it at the two Reggie brothers when they get up from taking a 
break.  After beating some sense into them, you will have to battle it 
out with Bullet and Skinny.  When these two enemies have been 
successfully taken care of, move on to the right to battle with Arnold 
and Bullet.  Also, bash open the crate to reveal the coveted Iron 
Wrench!  Pick up this equalizer to even the odds of survival.  Kato will 
also join in from the left.  Rotate your Iron Wrench Attacks between the 
three attackers and when everyone has been defeated, the Go Arrow will 
flash.  If you die while having the Iron Wrench in your possession, you 
will lose the wrench.

     When you move on to the right, you will have to engage in battle 
with Arnold and Goro.  Take it to them with the Iron Wrench.  When they 
have been pounded into the ground, advance to the right where you will 
get  to take on the triple team of Louie, Skinny, and Louie.  Remember, 
the heavyweights are always fun to launch into other gang members.  
Next, Kato will love to jump into the fray from the right.  Defeat him 
in a one on one match and move on.  Here, you will find a Soda and a 
trio of gang members to dispose of.  Get ready to trounce Louie, Butch, 
and Case again.  Mix up your attacks with Combos, Dragon Kicks, and 
Shoulder Throws.  When all three of your pursuers have been defeated, 
Kato will want to mix it up one on one with you again.  Just wait for 
him to miss with one of his attacks and pummel him when he does.  When 
Kato has been disgraced, you will automatically leave the storage area 
through the door to the right.

     Now, you will find yourself outside of the storage area.  If you 
walk to the right, where the back office is located, you will find a 
crate to smash.  Pick up the Baseball Bat and move on to the right.  
Then, you will get to take some batting practice out on Bullet and Case.  
Continue to the right after the Go Arrow flashes and you will then be 
able to take on Gigante and another Case.  Alternate between taking 
swings with that almighty aluminum bat.  After bashing a couple of home 
runs, proceed to the right.  Here you will catch a glimpse of the Ice 
Man.  He will run off to the right and leave Arnold and Gigante to deal 
with you.  Alternate by mixing up your attacks between the trio.  When 
two of these gang members have been defeated, Case and Skinny will take 
their place in the battle royal.  After taking out all five of these 
rough fighters, the Go Arrow will appear.

     Advance to the right where you will have to get it on with Warrior, 
Louie, and Case in a three on one match.  For starters, grab Louie and 
heave him into the others by using the Shoulder Throw.  Then, alternate 
your attacks between the remaining two.  When these two buffoons have 
been successfully KO'd, bust open the crate to the right and grub on the 
Roast Chicken that appears.  You will be shortly be on the outside of 
the dock again.  Walk to the right and grab Butch when he approaches.  
Toss him to the left so that he is sent crashing into the two Skinny men 
that appear.  Then take turns, beating on Skinny and Skinny until they 
keel over.  Louie, will jump in from the right to try and help out.  
Just continue to grab Louie and Shoulder Throw him all over the freaking 
place until he does not feel like getting up anymore.  Finally, make 
your way to the right where you will automatically walk in order to keep 
your appointment with the Ice Man.

ICE MAN BOSS BATTLE:  Now prepare yourself to go one on one with the 
masked one!  He has eight life bars which are indicated by his Light 
Blue life meter.  First, walk right up to the Ice Man, grab him and 
throw him.  This is a freebie.  Then get out of the way and pace back 
and forth.  When the Ice Man performs his Spinning Roundhouse Kicks, 
wait for him to get dizzy and stop.  Then quickly jab him, grab him, and 
toss him.  If you miss, get out of the way because he will regain his 
balance and will immediately go into his Spinning Roundhouse Move again.  
Now be patient and repeat the process described above.  With enough 
patience and Shoulder Throws, this awesome adversary will give in to 
submission.  Stage 5 is now cleared.  Prepare yourself for the Final 
Stage!

HIDEOUT:  Fight To The Finish
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

     You will finally enter into the corporate hideout of Big Al but 
gang members are lurking all over the place.  Walk to the right and 
engage in combat with two Bullet brothers and Case.  After you have 
mopped the floor with these common street thugs, pummel the crap out of 
Reggie who appears from the left.  Then, advance to the right to take on 
the Bullet brothers again and Case.  When one of the gang member is 
defeated, Skinny will jump in from the left.  After you have warmed up a 
bit, Gigante will grace you with his presence to the right.  Continue to 
vary your attacks between the gang members.  Then, advance to the right 
when the Go Arrow beckons and prepare for another go with Genie.

GENIE BOSS BATTLE REMATCH:  This time, he will have five life bars as 
signaled by the Dark Green life meter.  However, he still has the same 
weakness of relying on that darn Saber too much.  That's a good thing 
for you.  Dragon Kick him so that he drops the Saber, then stand over 
the sword.  When he goes to retrieve it, clobber the snot out of him.  
Also, if Warrior wants to come out and play followed by Bullet, just 
grab them and launch their bodies into Genie.  Also, the same goes for 
Skinny and Case when they decide to jump in.  After Genie has been 
terminated, you will automatically go up to the next floor via the 
stairs.

     When you arrive on the next floor, two Skinny gang members and Case 
will try to hinder your progress.  Just continue to dismantle these 
enemies as you see fit.  After two of the gang members have been 
defeated, Dingo will try to Whirlwind Kick you from the right.  Just 
wait until he lands and proceed to Combo or Dragon Kick him until he 
goes down for good.  Move on to the right and crack open the crate in 
order to retrieve the Iron Wrench.  This will even up the odds a bit.  
Pick up the Iron Wrench and wail away at the Warrior twins and Bullet.  
Remember to alternate between attackers.  When you have totally bashed 
one of the gang members, another Warrior will want to challenge you from 
the right.  Give him a love tap to his noggin repeatedly to dispose of 
him.

     Proceed to the right when the Go Arrow flashes.  Now you will have 
to contend with some heavy muscle and explosive combat.  Continue to use 
the Iron Wrench to soften up Gigante and Arnold and watch out for Skinny 
when he decides to start lighting of dynamite sticks off screen at you 
to the left.  After you have properly demolished this trio, walk to the 
right and you will have to deal with Louie, Butch, and Louie.  As 
always, grab whoever get close and toss those heavy bodies into the air 
at one another and cause damage like you just don't care.  Two Reggie 
members will join the battle when one or two of the heavy boys are 
knocked out cold.  After extinguishing these pyromaniacs, walk to the 
right where Slasher has demanded a rematch against you.

SLASHER BOSS BATTLE REMATCH:  This time around, Slasher has six bars of 
life as indicated by the Dark Purple life meter.  If you still have the 
Iron Wrench in your possession, whack him upside the head when he lands.  
Otherwise, grab Warrior from the left and toss him directly into 
Slasher.  Note also to Dragon kick into Slasher if he starts to back 
pedal.  Finally, when he hops up on the ledge, get the heck out of the 
way and run for cover because he will try to land that patented Diving 
Body Slash.  Also, Skinny and Kato will try to jump in during the 
duration of the fight.  Just continue to run and Dragon Kick away until 
the Slasher is dropped for the last time.  Next, you will then 
automatically take the elevator upstairs to the next floor.

     When you arrive at the top floor and run to the right, destroy the 
trashcan.  Here, you will find a Roast Chicken.  Scarf it down and grab 
Butch to use him as a human catapult into Kato and Goro.  After you have 
potentially disposed of these martial artists, run to the right to take 
on the Ice Man.  He will try to finish the job that he failed to do in 
the previous stage!

ICE MAN BOSS BATTLE REMATCH:  The Ice Man is a lot quicker and harder to 
defeat this time around.  He has a whopping eight life bars as denoted 
by his Light Blue life meter.  First, walk right up to the Ice Man, grab 
him and throw him.  This is a freebie.  Then get out of the way and pace 
back and forth.  When the Ice Man performs his Spinning Roundhouse 
Kicks, wait for him to get dizzy and stop.  Then quickly jab him, grab 
him and toss him.  If you miss, get out of the way because he will 
regain his balance and will immediately go into his Spinning Roundhouse 
Move again.  Now be patient and repeat the process described above.  
With enough patience and Shoulder Throws, this awesome adversary will be 
subdued again and for the last time.  After you have decimated this 
enemy in a long, hard fought battle, he will crawl off to the right 
clutching his chest.

     Then, walk off to the right where the Ice Man will slump over.  
Now, break open the Crate in the middle in order to chomp down on some 
Sushi.  Then, beat up on Case and Bullet and advance to the right when 
the Go Arrow prompts you to.  You will then have to defeat two Bullet 
brothers, a Reggie, and a Skinny before you are able to climb up the 
stairs to the right.  After eliminating all of the attackers you will 
then be battling on the Rooftop.  Run to the right where Big Al is 
meditating and engage in the battle of your life.

BIG AL FINAL BOSS BATTLE:  Big Al is very well built, strong as an ox, 
and intimidates you with his fireball glowing hands.  Al sports nine 
life bars as denoted by his Aqua life meter.  Okay, enough talk.  Here 
are the patterns of his attack.  Learn them to bring the big guy down.  
First, he will jump straight up in the air and powerdive downwards with 
hands glowing.  When he lands backwards from the recoil, grab and throw 
him quickly.  Otherwise, get out of the way because he will do it again.  
The second phase of his attack is projecting fireballs from his mouth.  
Dodge his fireballs and tag him with a Combo when he misses.  Then, Al 
will switch back to the first pattern of powerdiving but this time if he 
misses, he will try to throw you with a somersault kick throw.  Finally, 
if you see Al's hands start glowing red not blue anymore, that means 
that he has entered angry mode and will be invincible to attack for a 
short period of time.  He will also shoot red fireballs from his mouth 
rather quickly so continue to dodge them until his hands turn blue 
again.  Just remember the patterns and get your licks in when you see an 
opening.  When Big Al's life meter is totally depleted, he will fall 
from grace and be disgraced.      

     Congratulations!  You have completed Rival Turf.  Prepare for a 
cheesy ending but at least you can brag about being able to complete 
another beat 'em up game that you have in your collection.
