Sacrifice Won't Cast (Using Armer IX). How do I cast Sacrifice?

  1. I've scoured the internet and even tried looking for an old game manual, but no luck. I know Armer can cast Sacrifice (uses 99% health and resurrects a dead unit) if on a Castle hex. I've tried all 3 castle spaces. I thought maybe he could only use this spell for humanoids or maybe creatures or both, but no matter who I let die (for testing purposes) the spell won't cast! I tried leveling him up thinking maybe I didn't have enough MP. I had 249 MP, but still won't cast...just a buzz sound like it's not available or applicable. Any help is much appreciated! I know it's probably something really stupid and simple, but I just can't figure this one out! How do I cast Sacrifice successfully?

  2. @chaoyun2k - Armer is my leader. I'm using Fusion Sega CD emulator with the Dark Wizard ISO.

  3. @chaoyun2k - I downloaded a different ISO, but same thing. I wonder if I should try a different emulator??

  4. Ok...tried gens emulator and still no luck. I remember this being an issue before. I vaguely remember it being a Kega Fusion setting. I'll play with some settings, but if any of you can cast Sacrifice with Armer, PLEASE let me know what emulator, emulator bios, and what ISO you are using.

  1. Armer IX must have full, meaning 100%, health at the time he tries to cast it. Sacrifice will leave him with little health so this prevents the player from accidentally killing themselves.

  1. I believe he needs to have 250 MP to cast Sacrifice. Possibly all leaders who have resurrect abilities. I encountered this only to have it magically start working after I gained a level.
