  ABBREVIATIONS + COMMAND NOTATION

 P / K         -  Press any Punch / Kick button.
 AB / AC / ABC -  Press the indicated attack buttons simultaneously.
 +             -  Stands for "and".
 /             -  Stands for "or".
 qcf / qcb     -  Motion (d,df,f) or (d,db,b) on the joystick.
 hcf / hcb     -  Motion (b,db,d,df,f) or (f,df,d,db,b) on the joystick.
 360º          -  Rotate the joystick in a circle (f,df,d,db,b,ub,u,uf,f). 360s
                  can start and end at any cardinal direction (If you start at
                  df, end at df.) Ultimately, 360-motions have been reduced to
                  a 270-motion in games. Thus you can start at f and rotate
                  (f,df,d,db,b,ub,u) (or the reverse) to get the same effect.
 .. rapidly    -  Repeat the listed command(s) in a swift succession. ("Press
                  Punch rapidly" means to swiftly hit any Punch button over and
                  over.)
 Tap           -  Press the indicated direction(s) or buttons(s) swiftly.
 When close    -  Perform the following command(s) when player is near the
                  opponent.
 ..            -  Used after attack commands to indicate that another attack
                  can be used as a follow-up. All continuing attacks will be
                  listed immediately underneath in a tree-like method:

 (move name)   -  A special move that has no specific name, but is noted in the
                  character`s movelist for having unique principles or command

                  don`t know the official name for the move yet.
 OTG-capable   -  Stands for "off the ground." The fighter can use this attack
                  to hit the opponent on the ground after a KNOCKDOWN for
                  additional damage. Some attacks may pop the opponent back
                  into the air for juggling capabilities.
 1,2,3,4       -  Note numbers, listed along the side of the FAQ alongside the
                  attack/command to correspond to the information numbers
                  listed below. Some attacks will have multiple notes.
 (!)           -  Indicates the character`s Beast Force Special Attack
 (B!)          -  Indicates the character`s Beast Force Super

  GAME MODES EXPLANATION

  ARCADE
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Select one of the eight characters to go through the game. You must defeat all
 eight opponents in a random order, followed by Zao-Long who is the final boss.
 Once Zao-Long is defeated, you are treated with a series of still images and
 text for their ending.

 Losing against an opponent will bring up a Continue screen. You will have ten
 seconds to decide on whether or not you wish to continue. Pressing Start will
 activate the continue, allowing you to start the stage over against the
 opponent that defeated you. Once the timer reaches 0, continuing is disabled
 and the game is over.

 Scores made here are added toward the Top 6 ranking screen. If you continue
 from a loss, the score you last had will be retained. Even if you change your
 character after continuing, you will keep your score.

  VS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 VS is made for 2-players. Any of the 8 characters can be selected to fight in
 a 2-out-of-3 round match. After you can select your game mode: Normal or Auto
 (auto-guarding, but sustain chip damage from all attacks).

 The next screen allows players to alter their handicap (between 70-120%), and
 finally select which Beast Spirits to begin with. To disable a specific Beast
 Spirit, hover over its icon and press the X- or A-button.

 Stages cannot be selected, they are chosen at random.

 Following each match will being up a Ranking screen, which displays a win/loss
 chart based on characters chosen.

  OPTION
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 The Options screen allows you to change the settings of the game. The modes
 are as follows (listed from top to bottom):

 - LEVEL
   Select the difficulty of the CPU opponents: Easy, Normal, Hard, or Expert.
   Normal is default.
   (Effects: Arcade)

 - TIME COUNT
   Select the amount of time for each round in seconds: 99 or No Limit. 99 is
   default.
   (Effects: Arcade, VS)

 - ROUND
   Select the number of rounds needed to win the match: 2 or 3. 2 is default.
   (Effects: Arcade, VS)

 - SPEED
   Select the speed in which the game moves from 1-8: 1 is very slow, 8 is very
   fast. 3 is default.
   (Effects: Arcade, VS)

 - AUDIO
   Select the sound output for the game: Stereo or Mono.

 - QUICK MODE
   Changes screens to make the game load faster when ON:
    * Character selection screen changed into just text rather than pictures
      and animation.
    * Disables the explanation tutorial on getting/using Orbs after defeating
      the first opponent.
    * Disables victory and losing quote screens.
    * Changes continue screens to just text.
   (Effects: Arcade, VS)

 - ZOOM
   Select the camera zoom: 75% or 100%. 100% is default.
   (At 75%, the stages are at a set width and the game does not pan out and
   change the size of the character sprites as players move around.)

 - SOUND TEST
   Play all the stage music, voices, and sounds effects from the game. Press
   the A- or C-button to play the track.

 - CONTROL
   Change the button configuration of the attack buttons.

 - VS Record
   Display the ranking chart; a win/loss diagram based on matches done in VS
   Mode.

 - SAVE
   Save new game data and configuration to overwrite old data on the system or
   cartridge RAM.

 - LOAD
   Load up saved data and configuration from the system or cartridge RAM.

 - EXIT
   Return to the title screen.

 Tapping down on the joystick cycles through the list of Beast Spirits that a
 character has in their possession. This can be done while standing or jumping.
 A character`s own Beast Spirit is not among that list, as they always have
 access to it. This is used to determine which "Beast Spirit Alt-Super" you
 want to use.

 "Beast Force Mode Activation" summons that character`s specific Beast Spirit
 (ie - Wu-Ling will summon the Rabbit); NOT a Beast Spirit taken from a
 defeated opponent. Upon summoning, that character will gain Merits (+) and
 Demerits (-) for the duration their Beast Spirit is active. (Merits/Demerits
 are all listed in each character`s section.) Beast Force Mode costs 1 stock
 to activate.

 During Beast Force Mode, the character gains a meter at the bottom of the
 screen to show how much time is remaining for Beast Force. Typically, Beast
 Force lasts 20 seconds. During that time, the character gains access to both
 their Beast Spirit Special Attack and Super.

  * The Special Attack is done by pressing ABC. Whenever used, it depletes 1/5
    of the Beast Force meter (around 4 seconds).
  * The Super is done through a specific command notation, depending on the
    character. (Refer to character`s specific section.) Whenever used, it
    depletes 1/3 of the Beast Force meter (around 7 seconds).

 If you have less than the needed Beast Spirit energy, you can still activate
 that specific attack to use the remainder of the meter.

 Alternately, as your character defeats opponents and claims their Beast Spirit
 Orbs, they will be able to use the Super attack connected to it. (ie - Wu-Ling
 can use the 'Byakko Sou Shuu Zan' if he has Rex`s Tiger Orb.) These Supers are
 activated by pressing forward + ABC, but can`t be used during Beast Force. All
 of these types of Supers cost 1 stock to activate.

 `Rabbit´ is a rather interesting fighter that has the Stand-like mechanic from
 from the Jojo fighting games, in addition to a simplistic system. It`s not a
 very difficult game to learn to play, but at times can be a bit tricky to see
 what all is going on on-screen. Another cheap "poverty fighter" that can be a
 bit fun if you happen to find a ROM or hard copy of it somewhere. Plus the hot
 female character`s job is being a prostitute in a Chinese brothel--SCORE!
