my tips is:
- stay away from his base, destroy it if you can
- bring enough anti creature, good if you have guidance of dusk, but direct damaging card like magic bolt also work best, non destroying card like Lurk also good because it makes iglus unit can't do anything except moving
- sap away his territory slowly
and easiest way to deal with any opponent is:
- corner him. sap away his territory, kill his remaining units and destroy his base when he is cornered (focus of taking territory, because if opponent's territory is almost zero, his remaining base and units is automatically destroyed because they can't pay it's upkeep cost). put a horde of unit to lock him so he can't move or summon any units.
If you still have hard time beating him or have too few anti-creature, try to defeat egma or shaia more to get more cards jashinsamael - 10 years ago
Also, try to corner Iglus with cards with the skill "Reflect Big Swings"
Particularly, use Poltergeist, as they have the skill "Snipe Lv1" to add on extra damage.
If Iglus is cornered, take out any other of his cards on field and he will be totally disabled. suikoarke - 10 years ago
My tips is to use high move cards early to try and take away as many of his areas quickly. Use cards like Mandragora and Poltergeist to render him and his units impotent and spam Thunderbolt and Firestorm. You will have 80% chance of defeating him unless he uses Guidance of Dusk on your Mandragoras and Poltergeists. KazamaArashi - 10 years ago
KazamaArashi is on the right track. Mandragora and Poltergeist is your best bet. Computer AI will only use Guidance of Dusk on your Strongest Unit on the field so to protect your "Reflect Big Swinger" summon a Unit with an AP of 3 or more. All the tips on this page should help you. bl4ckarch3r - 10 years ago
The cheapest and easiest way to beat Iglus (since you won't be having guidance of dusk until ruins) is using a sniper deck: get three poltergeists as your moving walls-their deflect big blows ability makes them immune to the buffed-up monsters he uses and Iglus himself (he has 4 AP lol). Once you've cornered him use big eye and cat magician from behind the poltergeists and snipe him to death. The poltergeists themselves can deal quite some damage too.If you have trouble moving them fight Shaia for a few protection of wind cards.
