why can't we find out when we will to buy off the shelf or is that only for the scalpers?

  1. It seems as though all stores are only selling these units to the scalpers. It would be nice if the average Joe had the same chance as the scalpers using bots. I just want to know when they will be available for purchase from the shelf?

  1. Because of Covid and the holidays it will likely be at least 6 months before there will be any of the new consoles on the shelf consistently. Some retailers have already announced that their sales will be online ONLY. Online retailers will fill orders they have first and then fill new orders if they have sufficient quantities.

    Some local retailers, and Best Buy (for example), post announcements if they are going to have any of the new consoles. Those announcements will vary, either by news paper, sale or radio ads, depending on where you live. For those you will likely need to be there hours before they open their doors.

    It will be a long while before you will be able to walk into a store and find the PS5 sitting on the shelf. If you find one and can't wait then there seem to be a lot of people willing to pay the premium. Good luck!
