World Shaping

World Shaping is often required to access new areas. It also changes the parameters of a dungeon area. World Shaping can only be performed by using Fury weapons acquired through Godly Revival. When you access World Shaping, you choose a Fairy you used in Godly Revival and stab its Fury sword into the ground at the desired dungeon location. You can't use an equipped Fairy for World Shaping.

Here is an example of the World Shaping process:

You enter Godly Revival and use the Fairy, Sylph, to remove a seal from the Goddess. The seal you choose to remove has the Angel's Luck ability along with the Shaping Effects: Obtained EXP +30% and P-DEF -10%. Because you used her to remove this seal, Sylph now has the Angel's Luck ability, which increases Gold and EXP earned at the end of a battle. You decide to equip Sylph on Fang to get those benefits from future battles. You will need to un-equip the Fairy in order to use it for World Shaping.

You enter World Shaping (press while on the World Map), choose the Fairy, Sylph, and stab her Fury sword into the ground at Katticus Ice Cave. You will now earn more EXP for battles you fight in Katticus Ice Cave, but all characters will suffer a reduction in defense against physical attacks when fighting those battles.

If you remove Sylph from World Shaping (press on the World Map, select Sylph from the list and choose "Yes" to "Pull out Sylph"), you can equip her again and she will gain EXP for battles you participate in. As Sylph gains levels, the range of her Shaping Effects will expand. Later, when you stab her into the ground at a location, the Shaping Effects will cover a greater area. If you level up Fairies with beneficial Shaping Effects, you can overlap them on the World Map to add, and even stack, Shaping Effects. The image below is one example of the potential that World Shaping offers to boost the rewards for your battles.
