Walkthrough Part 1

Shukesoo's Tower (Story)

Entering Shukesoo's Tower, you learn that the Fury is on the highest floor of this five-floor tower which has guardians on each floor. You won't be exploring the Tower and there is no treasure here. What you will find is a gauntlet--a series of five Boss battles in succession that you must win to reach and clear the top floor.

Boss: Desert Riser
HP: 6,392
Weakness: Wind, Bow, Greatsword, Gun, Spear
Drop: Weakened Special Fiber, Mid Potion
Steal: Weakened Special Fiber

Desert Riser's Gapcloser-A and Gapcloser-B attack a single target for Moderate damage. Long Range Active hits multiple targets for Moderate damage. Long Range Laser hits multiple targets 3 times, causing Normal damage with each hit. Unload is a 10-hit barrage of Normal-damage hits that strike all characters.

Boss: Ghede x2
HP: 2,860
Weakness: Bow, Greatsword, Gun, Spear
Drop: Potion
Steal: None

The Ghedes use Stab and Shred attacks, which strike a single target for Normal damage. Pitiful Blow causes Moderate damage to a multiple targets. Impale hits a single target for Moderate damage and causes "Knock Back". Curse You causes Normal damage to an single character and may inflict "Confusion".

Tiara and Harley leave the party here and you get an introduction to Fang's Command Ability, Serious Face. This ability increases Fang's attack power by 50%, but there is a cost. When you use this command, his normal attacks cost 30 SP and the SP cost of other attacks increases by 50%. Following this event, Fang battles on, alone.

Boss: Nightblade Serpent
HP: 3.939
Weakness: Axe, Glaive, Greatsword, Scythe, Spear, Sword
Drop: Ether, Potion
Steal: None

Nightblade Serpent attacks you with Punch and Stomp, each of which causes Moderate damage. Headbutt does Moderate damage and causes "Knock Back". Laser hits 3 times, each time for Normal damage. Black Laser is a 3-hit attack that does Normal damage with each hit and results in "Knock Back".

Boss: Little Grey x3
HP: 1,040
Weakness: Axe, Glaive, Greatsword, Scythe, Spear, Sword
Drop: Potion
Steal: None

Fang begins this fight in Fury Form. The Little Greys' attacks include Antimatter, which hits for Normal damage and Head Laser and M-Ray which do Normal damage and cause "Knock Back". Odd Dance does Normal damage and may inflict "SP Decay". M-Ray Spray hits 3 times for Normal damage and causes "Knock Back". M-Ray All-Out is a 6-hit attack for Normal damage each hit that also causes "Knock Back".

Boss: Majin's Remains
HP: 9,105
Weakness: Fire, Axe. Glaive, Greatsword, Scythe, Spear, Sword
Drop: Potion, Mid Potion
Steal: None

This Boss's Double Claw, Despair Claw, Claws of Ruin and Tail Sweep attacks cause Moderate damage. Crippling Foot is a stomping attack for Heavy damage. The attack to watch out for is Destroyer Claw, which hits for Major damage.

Like with Ganada Mother, you need to empty the boss's top-screen health bar twice. However, when the top-screen bar reaches half, an event occurs. After the event, the battle will resume with both Fang and the boss restored to full HP and SP.

You can attack with combos to increase Fang's tension. When it is high enough, use Serious Face on one turn and Fairize on the next. Then watch the boss's HP bar disappear.

When this final battle is won, Tiara and Harley rejoin and you obtain the Fury containing the Rank C Fairy. Kurama.

This was your first visit to Shukesoo's Tower, but it doesn't have to be the last. Shukesoo's Tower becomes a side quest area that warrants its own section in the Guide.

After your ordeal, you automatically return to The Sunflower Inn in Zelwinds City for an event.

You may want to Save your game before speaking with anyone after the initial event at The Sunflower Inn.

You can speak with Tiara, Eryn or Harley. You can only talk to one of them. If you want to view all three events, you will have to reload the game. Whichever event you choose is followed by the introduction of new abilities for Tiara and Harley.

Barrier is Tiara's special Command ability. When you activate it, her P-DEF and M-DEF will increase.

Harley's special Command ability, Analyze, lets her see an enemy's stats just as they will appear in the Library. When Harley uses "Detailed Analysis", a Guard Gauge shows under the enemy's HP bar. When the Guard Gauge runs out, the enemy takes greater damage and is subject to Avalanche Attacks.

After these events, you can view sub-events with Eryn, Tiara, Harley and Bahus.

While at the Inn, you can enter Godly Revival and use the Fairy you obtained from Shukesoo's Tower to remove another Rank C Fury Seal.

Visit Fountain Plaza to look for Lola and buy information about the location of another Fury. There are new sub-events at Fountain Plaza if you want to view them. A new sub-event has popped up at The Sunflower Inn as well.

If you visit Guillermo's Pub, he has one new Rank E Quest and four new Rank D Quests for you. You can talk to other people in the pub, too, if you wish.

When you finish, it's time to head to Solaru Village. Return to the world map.
