Walkthrough Part 2 (Goddess Path)

Rudohke Blast Furnace (Goddess)

If you want to add a new member to your party, Fang must be at least Level 35 before you trigger the final event in Rudohke Blast Furnace. The enemies here can be difficult for a two-member party. If you need to work on Fang's level, you may want to return to Zawaza Plains where the EXP is about the same but the battles are easier.

Navigating through the Rudohke Blast Furnace is much like the Yatagan Lava Flows. In the first area, follow the counter-clockwise path toward the exit that is just north of your starting point, raiding four Treasure Crystals along the way. Do the same in the second area, traveling counter-clockwise until you return to the north side. Then head east to the platform in the northeast corner. There are three more treasures to pick up on this path. Approach the way marker on the final platform for a scene and a battle.

Boss: Devolcano
HP: 61,425
Weakness: Water, Axe, Glaive, Greatsword, Scythe, Spear, Sword
Drop: Dragon Claw
Steal: Red Dragon Stone

Don't let the HP total scare you. Devolcano can be beaten without too much trouble, it just takes a while. He begins the battle with Burn Line, which is a breath attack that strikes 5 times for Moderate damage. His other attacks are mainly breath attacks as well. Breath hits a single target with Moderate damage. Wide Breath hits 3 times for Moderate damage. Stomp strikes multiple targets for Moderate damage and causes "Knock Back". Wide Breath and Burn Line are area attacks and can damage both characters if they are in the area of effect. You can avoid damage to both characters by keeping them separated.

When you defeat Devolcano, you automatically return to Zawaza Plains to tend to Apollonius. Instead of thanking Fang, he insists on fighting him again. Harley rejoins the party for this battle.

Boss: Apollonius
HP: 29,952
Weakness: Bow. Gun, Spear
Drop: Energy Crystal
Steal: Energy Crystal

Apollonius will continue to attack only Fang. He uses the same attacks as during your last encounter: Flight Shot, Double Shot, Flight Slash and Attack Slash. When he gets low on health, he will counter with Dark Embrace, a Dark Elemental spell that hits all characters within range multiple times for Heavy damage.

After the battle, Apollonius joins the party, if Fang is at least level 35. Eryn gives a lecture about Apollonius' Special Command Ability, Provoke, which causes enemies to focus their attacks on him. You automatically return to the World Map.

Look for Lola in Fountain Plaza. She lets you know about a Fury at Solaru Village. Check out the new "Riverbank" entry on the Zelwinds City location list for a sub-event. If you visit The Sunflower Inn you can view sub-events with Tiara, Harley, Bahus, and Apollonius, and three with Eryn. At the Inn, there is always Godly Revival if you have Fairies available.

You can go to Guillermo's Pub and report any quests you have completed. He will have two new Rank C Pub Quests for you. There aren't any new conversations with pub patrons, but if you talk to Guillermo he will relate rumors about Solaru Village.
