In another world, these ruins were somewhere else and they were known as the Dansklight Ruins. To advance through the Ruins, you have to go back and forth through different areas, and you need to depress floor switches to move walls that bar your progress.

On the area maps, each pair of the same lower case letters marks the location of a floor switch and the corresponding wall barrier that will be removed when you depress the switch. Pairs of upper case letters show exits and where they lead. Taking any exit will lead you to a different area map.

In the first room there are blocked passages to the east and west. There are two passages on the north wall that are on a higher level and unreachable, and a passage between them that is blocked by a wall with a bas-relief of the Goddess. There is a floor switch in the southeast corner of the room that will open the passageway east. Another switch in the southwest corner will open the passageway west.

Examine the switch (b) in the southwest corner of the entry room on Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - 1F and go through the west passageway into another room. You will find Treasure Crystal 1 in a deep alcove in the northwest corner. A switch (j) in the alcove on the south side of this room will open the passageway to the north. Follow it north, through the next room, to an alcove with Treasure Crystals 2 and 3.

You don't want to go further into the Ruins from here yet. Return to the Ruins entrance and examine the floor switch (a) in the southeast corner of the entry to remove the wall blocking the east passageway. Go through that passageway into another room. Take the stairs in the southeast corner and go back west across the top of the wall. Take the next set of stairs down and leave the room through the east passage to an exit (A) to Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - 2F.

Enter the first room and take the stairs to the south down to another floor switch (c). Examine it to open the passageway leading north from the room you just left. Go through the passageway and the next room into a another room with a wall and two sets of stairs to scale it. There is a passage in the southeast corner of this room that leads to a dead end with Treasure Crystals 4 and 5. Cross over the wall and exit (B) north to Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Room. Pass through the room to another exit (C) to Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - East.

Follow this "C" shaped corridor into a room. In the northeast corner of this room is a narrow passage leading north into another room. There are floor switches in the northeast and northwest corners of this room. The northeast switch (e) opens the way to an exit (D) that leads to a dead end on Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Room. The northwest switch (d) removes a wall in the south room you passed through to reveal an alcove with Treasure Crystal 6 holding the Blue Orb [Key Item].

Return to the room with the switches and go through the east corridor to another room with stairs and a wall to cross. There are three Treasure Crystals in this room. Treasure Crystals 7 and 8 are in the southeast corner and Treasure Crystal 9 is atop a raised platform in the room's center. Taking the south exit (E) leads to another dead end room, but you can't reach it yet. From the northeast corner of the room with the Treasure crystals, you can reach a narrow passage with a floor switch (f) at the end. That switch removes part of the south wall in the room to the west to reveal an alcove with another switch (g). Flipping switch (g) opens a corridor west into another room. There is an obvious switch (h) in the center of the room allowing you to go further west. In the far west room, switch (i) in the southwest corner opens a corridor to the south and exit (I). Take that exit through a corridor leading south and you can drop down into the first room of the ruins.

You may want to exit the Ruins and Save your game before continuing.

This time, retrace your initial steps through the rooms to the west of the entrance. In the room just south of the dead end where you found Treasure Crystals 2 and 3 is a corridor to the east. Go east into another room. There is a small opening in the southeast corner leading to narrow passage with a switch (k) at the west end. Depressing this switch moves a wall allowing you to go further north. In the next, northernmost room a switch (l) in the southeast alcove will open a passageway north leading to another switch (m). Now you can head west from the northernmost room to an exit (F) taking you to Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - West.

The passage turns east and you enter a room. Take the corridor south, pick up Treasure Crystal 11 at the dead end to the east, and then enter the room to the south. Through a short passage is another room with a corridor south leading to Treasure Crystal 12 at a dead end. Back in the room, there is a switch in an alcove in the west wall. Depress the switch (n) to open your way east on this floor. Head back east through this room and the next into a corridor leading east which is now open. Grab Treasure Crystal 13 in the middle of the corridor and continue into another room. Follow the narrow passage in the northeast corner of this room into yet another room. There are two floor switches here. The switch (o) in the northeast corner reveals a dead end to the south. The switch (p) in the southwest corner opens a corridor leading west. Through that corridor is another room with a switch (q) in the southwest corner. Return to the room to the east and enter the now accessible deep alcove on the east wall. There is a floor switch (r) here which opens a corridor north from the room. Make sure to collect Treasure Crystal 14 in this deep alcove. Follow the newly opened corridor north to another room. There is an event marker to the north but you don't want to go there yet. Cross the room and enter a corridor leading to exit (H).

Exit (H) leads to a dead end room on Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Room. Activating the floor switch (t) in the northeast corner of the room will remove the wall blocking access to the dead end room in the southeast corner of Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Room. Cast "Backtrack" to leave the dungeon.

Now you need to make your way back to that dead end room in the southeast of Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Room. From the entrance, go east all the way to exit (A) and up to Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - 2F. Cross this floor west and take exit (B) to Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Room. Pass through to exit (C) and enter Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - East. Follow the path around to the east side of the map and head for exit (E). This takes you to another dead end room at Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Room. You can now retrieve Treasure Crystal 10.

Cast "Backtrack" to leave the dungeon.

The Ancient Blueprints you picked up from Treasure Crystal 13 provide Synthesis recipes for several pieces of Armor, including character-specific pieces for each of the characters who joined your party on the Evil Goddess Path (except poor Noie). You may want to go to Tomoe's Shop in Zelwinds City and enter Synthesis to check them out.

Re-enter the Ruins and make your way back to the event marker by going west and north on the first floor to exit (F). In Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - West, retrace your steps to the room where you detoured to take exit (H). The event marker is to the north. Approach the marker for an event.

Zenke has a Scissor attack that causes Heavy damage. Slice hits twice for Heavy damage each time. Chainsaw strikes three times for Heavy damage. Twin Slicer can hit multiple targets twice for Heavy damage each. His Special Attack, Tragic Lamentation, targets multiple characters in a wide area for two attacks, each dealing Heavy damage.

Zagi uses the same attack pattern as when you faced him before. It includes Punch, Slash Attack, Slash Assault and Cut Down. All of his attacks deal Heavy damage and result on "Knock Back".

The battle is followed by an event. When you regain control, notice the switch (s) in the northeast corner of the room, which opens a corridor to the east. Follow the winding corridor to exit (G). In the next area, the corridor turns south and you can drop back into the northwest corner of the ruins entry room on Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - 1F.

You may want to exit to the World Map and restore your HP/SP after your battle with Zenke and Zagi.

When you re-enter the Ruins you will be just where you need to be. In the Ruins entrance, approach the section of the northern wall with the bas-relief of the Goddess. Use the Red Orb and Blue Orb to open the way to another exit. This one leads to Rey=A=Rimus Ruins - Central. Use the Save Point as you enter this area and walk the long path north to a new event marker.

Boss: Evil Goddess Junown

This begins as a scripted battle, with your party's attacks causing no damage and Junown's attacks dealing Critical damage. After a few turns, there will be an event. When the event ends, the battle begins anew as a normal Boss battle.

Evil Goddess Junown will attack with Cross Rush, striking a character twice for Heavy damage. Zan Wave hits multiple targets, causing Moderate damage. Spiral Wave strikes multiple characters for Heavy damage. When reduced to less than half HP, she will attack with Wave Waver, which hits multiple characters 8 times for Heavy damage with each hit.

All of Evil Goddess Junown's attacks cause serious "Knock Back". The Knock Back effect is so severe that it not only pushes your party back but spreads them out as well. The result is that after her attack you may have trouble getting back into attack range or even close enough to your injured party members to heal them.

Despite all that, this battle can be won without too much time spent reviving or healing allies.

Congratulations! You have completed Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force again. Sit back and watch the ending and credits. After they finish, you will earn the Evil Goddess Story Cleared Trophy. Now you can continue with a New Game Plus.
