If you find this Guide helpful, you can show your appreciation by clicking the YES button above where asked if you would recommend this guide. Clicking either button will let you leave an anonymous comment to help improve the Guide.

This Guide intends to provide you with all the information you will need for a complete game experience when you play Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force. It will cover the basics, like game controls, the flow of the game, how battles play out and special features unique to the game. The walkthrough sections offer a step-by-step guide to playing and finishing the game. No walkthrough can be completely spoiler-free, but this one makes the attempt. The Guide also provides a lot of information that doesn't necessarily belong in a walkthrough. It covers side quests and provides detailed information about things like skills, equipment, items, and a bestiary. Whatever level of help you need to play the game, you should be able to find it here.

Enjoy the game.

Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force is a Japanese-style role-playing game released in the United States by Idea Factory/Compile Heart for the PlayStation 4 on July 26, 2016, and for PC on February 14, 2017. It is a remake of Fairy Fencer F, released for the PlayStation 3 and PC a couple of years earlier. If you played any of the games in Compile Heart's Hyperdimension/Megadimension Neptunia franchise, you will notice some similarities. The game features a musical score with tracks composed by Nobuo Uematsu of Final Fantasy fame.

The story takes place in a land where, long ago, the Goddess and the Vile God waged war. Ultimately they were sealed away by Furies, special weapons with fairy beings in them, that the deities used against each other. Today such weapons are wielded by Fencers. Fang, our unlikely hero, unwittingly becomes a Fencer and is tasked with collecting Furies and reviving a deity.

This is the part of the Guide that might offer biographical information about the characters in Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force. This Guide does not, for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that characters are introduced at various points in the story line and this Guide will strive to avoid spoilers. The second reason is that the characters are pretty well developed (not just fully developed, but developed in a satisfying way) throughout the game and it is better to let them introduce themselves.

The Guide includes a section that offers important but more mundane information about the characters like skills, magic, etc. When a character joins your party, the Guide will provide a link to the character's page. You can avoid some spoilers by not referring to that section until the story calls for it.
