City Exploration

Telephone Cards

In the distant future, this will be a place for Locker Keys, but in 1988, you're searching all the corners of the city for telephone cards. From a real life perspective, these are just prepaid phone cards to use when making calls, and Japan has a habit of putting just about anything and anyone on phone cards to advertise. In this game, you're collecting these cards with pretty ladies on them for the sole purpose of showing them off to a collector.

Cards will not appear in the game until in Chapter 2 after Kiryu spends the night in his apartment. For Majima, he has to meet Fei Hu in Chapter 3 and learn the Slugger Style for them to appear. Also, you won't be able to find all cards immediately. For each card set, you'll only be able to collect the Type A card first, and afterwards the Type B card of that set will appear, and then Type C. In this way, you'll have to scour the city multiple times to find every card if you're doing it the hard way.

To make it easier on yourself, purchase and equip the Card Watcher accessory from the Shrine/Temple using Completion Points. It will ding at you as you close in on a card, and ding faster when you're on top of it. Alternatively, you can just refer to my maps and list I have down here.

The collector in Kamurocho appears in Pink Alley, northwest of Shoten. The collector in Sotenbori appears in the northeast corner of the district, next to Magutako. Collectors will only accept full sets of three, and for every set you turn in to a collector, you'll get five million yen. You don't get anything special for showing all of them to either of them. They'll let you know you've found them all, but it's still only five million throughout, so don't think this is a necessary aspect of the hunt.

Kamurocho Cards

From the moment they're scattered, you can find thirty-six of these cards. Once you get access to the Sugita Building in Chapter 5, then you can find Erika's set of three more, leaving six, two for three girls. In Chapter 10, when you get entry into West Park, you'll find two in there, and then two more as the third card for those sets. Lastly, at the end of Chapter 10, you'll be able to get into Little Asia where the last two cards are.
