Namco Museum Archives Vol. 1 – Cheats

Enter at the title screen. You'll know the code was entered properly if the background color of the map is red instead of green.

Normally as the screen scrolls up, if you were to get pinned, you would suffer damage until you die. However, if you hold Down on the D pad as you fly through it, you take no damage. The only down side to this is you can't move until you die or escape from the solid area.

During the good ending, when Iris rides on top of the Dragon's head, press Select 20 times to lift her skirt up.

Die on the first battle (prologue) to start the game as a gold dragon instead of blue this turn the game easier and the game ending to the bad ending.

At the title screen, press Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, Up, Right, Left, Left, Right, Down, Up, Right, Left, Up, quickly press and hold at the same time A on the 1st controller and Left, B & Select on the 2nd controller and while holding, press Down on the 1st controller. Now select continue and press Start, when "Floor 1" appears, press Up or Down to change levels.

Using this cheat, you can also add items to your pocket, at the floor selection screen or during gameplay. At the floor selection screen, you can press Up/Down on Controller 1 to also change the item number. During gameplay, press Up/Down on Controller 2 instead to change the item number as well, but there will be no indication as to which items you will change. After either case, press A or B on Controller 2 to place or remove the corresponding item. (If you press A on Controller 2 at the number of 60, all possible items are added simultaneously.)

Turn on the game and press Reset 44 times, then press and hold the A & B buttons on controller 2 and press Reset once more. If done right, you should get a hidden music track while letters rhythmically move on the screen. Press reset 45 more times for another music track, keep resetting 45 times multiple times to get up to 5 different hidden music tracks.

While playing, if you are hit by an enemy, hold Up and rapidly hit A & B at the same time. If done right, you'll ship will recover.

Press and hold Down, A & B on the 2nd controller, then press Reset. If done right, the Test mode will appear.

Unless otherwise stated, the passwords will not give you the Crystal Orb item.

Just before you get to the Fortress pause the game. Unpause the game, but instead of sticking around to fight the Fortress, you'll be able to just move right past it!

Shortly after you reach the first set of spinning walls, you'll reach a lake. If you dump bombs into the lake, a flag with an ''S'' on it will appear. Flying over the flag will give you a free ship.
