Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed this wonderful game as much as I enjoyed playing it and writing this guide for it. In the future, I may write another guide for this game, not sure if it will be incorporated into this one or if I'll make it "standalone". An editor from Eurogamer reported that there's rumour that this game will have a Battle Royale mode of its own and that it will be f2p. If this happens to be true, I might write a guide for it (UPDATE: I won't; refer to introduction; in short, AV released a really good official guide https://www.callofduty.com/warzone/strategyguide/full-guide), just like a reference manual, no big deal. But I'm not promising anything as I'm not sure if I'll still be gaming by then and if I'm gaming, if I'll have the time to guide-write games. But the question is not whether I'll write a guide for it, but whether this BR mode will be better than Blackout, I mean, is that even possible? Can they outperform it? It should be exciting to check this (if the rumours about this BR mode are indeed true).

In closing, I'd say that I'm excited and looking forward to the next games from IW. This Campaign as they promised is as long as it should be. I especially liked the sniping level, I think it shows the evolution of the Modern Warfare series. I remember playing the original and there was a level where they explained what needs to be accounted for when shooting at long ranges, but the game itself did not require that from the player, the sniping was a bit arcadey, at least as far as I remember. Now, they not only explain the basics of ballistics but they actually require you to put this knowledge in practice by using ballistic markings, flags to account for the wind and buildings for estimating the range from you to your targets. Really cool and a bit ludic as well as realistic if you ask me. But, I understand that for most people the favorite level will probably be "Going Dark". You can approach it head-on or total stealth as a true ghost. And using not only the night vision goggles to see in the dark but also its light meter to get to know whether the player is in the dark or under a spotlight is also cool. Just as noteworthy, some characters of this game are very likable like Farah and I especially like Captain Price's sense of humor, very distinguished.

Also, I'd like to credit XBox Achievements and True Achievements for providing the XONE Achievements with the GS points for each as well. And also, AV for an official description of this game.

That's all. If you made it this far congrats and thanks very much for bearing with me. Take care and hopefully see you on a next time!
