Difficulty Choice

Before you start, you need to choose how tough you want the game to be, choose one of the four from the table below:

DifficultyDescription
RecruitFor players who are new to Call of Duty.
RegularYour abilities in combat will be tested.
HardenedYour skills will be strained.
VeteranYou will not survive.
RealismVeteran with limited HUD.

The game saves your progress automatically and I think manual saves are disabled. Also of note, remember not to turn off your system when the message "Checkpoint ..." appears on the screen (I think near the top-left corner) as the game will be probably saving your progress. This is in case you need to stop a playing session to get back later after turning off the game and then back on to play again. If the game is saved, when you turn the game back on you can resume from the last checkpoint. If the game is not saved, well, you'll have to play everything again.
