How to toggle headgear in cutscenes?

  1. Ok, so I know at the time of writing that this feature is not in the game yet, however this post is for two reasons; To show that there is interest in the feature and for future reference, so feel free to share around and answer if they do add the feature.

  2. To clarify headgear was removed contextually in all previous Assassin's Creed games, (AC Origins was the first, and at time of writing only AC game to allow you to remove headgear at will). Also this is a feature most games in general have by default and is considered standard with in the RPG and Action Adventure genres..

  3. Update: This is pretty late but Posidion's Crown from Fate of Atlantis: Episode 3 appears in cutscenes. Meaning they have the ability to add headgear to cutscenes without causing issues.

  1. I don't think they will ever add this feature. Making headgear visible in cutscenes will lead to lots of strange things, like horns on you helmet thrust into your lover's head...

  2. Headgear would be removed in certain cutscenes, see Assassin's Creed Origins, the previous game.

  1. Honestly with the style on a lot of the head gear it just not work in cutsceens which is probably why they just flat out hide the head gear in them (not to mention trying to show emotions through facial expressions wouldn't work if you have a huge cow head covering your face. It is a lot simpler to just set head gear to off for cutsceens then to try to pick and choice which ones work in which scenes, a lot of extra work for not a lot of extra payoff. Honestly the fact that they do use your current cloths apart from headgear is a lot better then most games where the cutscenes have entirely different default gear then what your actually wearing.

  2. Most RPGs keep your gear consistent. AC Origins, the previous game was the first AC game to allow you to remove your headgear and would remove it contextually.

  3. Also no it would not take a lot of work there is a glitch that allows you to keep your headgear on, temporarily.
