NERO Installations
Nero Checkpoints are scattered all over and frequently consist of a few basic parts to completing them. They can range from fairly simple to deal with to quite difficult depending on surrounding circumstances, however, so it's important to make sure that you keep your eyes peeled for additional threats in the area. The steps are as follows:
Deal with local Freakers/Drifters- Cut wires to loudspeakers on various rooftops
- Repair the electrical system
- Find Gas Can and refuel Generator
- Turn on electricity, deal with any new threats
- Loot!
Many of the worst parts can be mitigated by being prepared. For instance, there are rarely Drifters near these checkpoints, and if you go during the day, there's also usually no Freakers. If you find and disable every loudspeaker, there's usually no consequence for turning the power. If you use this guide, you can find the gas can, generator, and any other repair parts quickly.
Follow the guide below to make quick work of these Nero Checkpoints and get the upgrades that those awesome Nero Injectors provide!
