Lost Lake Infestations

Sherman's Camp

This infestation is in the NE part of the Lost Lakes area. The nests aren't too hard to find and the area can be cleared pretty quickly during the day, but watch out for wandering Swarmers and Wolves while walking around. If you need any supplies, you'll likely find them in the buildings around the area, but also check the mutilated bodies (they're marked with "X" on your mini-map) to find supplies like Rags.

Sherman Nests 1 and 2

Enter the camp from the west, passing by the broken bridge. When you get into the camp area proper, take your first left. You'll find two Nests in a single building a couple down from the intersection. You'll find one upstairs and then another on the first floor, but both need to be accessed from inside the building. Unfortunately, all of the boarded up windows block your Molotovs from the outside.

Start upstairs, torch the first nest, jump out of the window, hop the railing, and then jump back into the building on the lower floor. Destroy the second nest here and run out of the building heading east to find the last nest.

Sherman Nest 3

The last nest is found in one of the buildings right next to the gift shop that you visit during the mission Sherman's Camp is Crawling. From the fire escape, turn and face SW. You'll see a small brick building.

Enter the building and you'll find it right in the middle. Light it up when you're ready and run out of the building through the west door as that will give you far more room to sprint away from it.

Rogue Camp

You'll come across this infestation earlier than I recommend you do it. During the Searching for Lisa mission, you'll have to go through Rogue Camp, but during the day, it's not particularly harrowing. If you wait to do this just before the On Herod's Birthday mission, you'll be able to torch everything and then immediately start the mission so you don't have to deal with any Swarmers.

Like with Marion Forks, this camp is slightly divided into two parts. There's the residential part with a bunch of houses, and then you'll find a gas station on the far side of the bridge. You'll want to take out the residential side, head to the gas station, and take out the three nests there before starting the mission on the bridge.

Rogue Camp Nests 1-3

Approach the camp from the east and you'll find your first Nest just off the left side of the main road running through west through the camp. Destroy that and start making your way north past two houses and you'll find a large restaurant building with a green roof. You'll find the second Nest here.

Once you torch that nest, head west and you'll find the last Nest on this side just to the left of the bridge.

Rogue Camp Nests 4-6

From the last nest of the prior area, go NNW and cross the stream to find the Gas station area. There's one Nest in the trailer to the left, and then two Nests inside the building itself. One is upstairs and can be hit from outside, but I would leave this one for last. Instead, run to the north end of the building and go inside to find a nest tucked in the corner.

Assuming you already hit the one in the trailer, destroy this one, run outside and destroy the one upstairs, then run SE back towards the bridge and trigger the On Herod's Birthday mission.

Berley Lake

You'll want to bring a little bit of extra firepower to this infestation south of Iron Mike's. It runs right up to and overlaps with the Santiam Tunnel NERO Checkpoint, which makes it advantageous to clear out the last few nests rather than just running from them.

Berley Lake Nests

When you first reach this infestation, you'll approach from the north. The first Nest is in a small shed out in the open. Toss a Molotov on it before running SW up the mountain. You'll eventually come upon the road that leads into the Checkpoint, and as you get closer, you'll find two Nests, one on either side of the road.

You may want to leave these two for now and continue forward into the Checkpoint. In the checkpoint, you'll find the final Nest. Burn it and clear the Swarmers. At this point, you can finish this checkpoint, run down the hill, destroy the two nests you passed, and keep moving back down the hill to your bike for a smooth getaway.
