NERO Intel

There are a LOT of these. You'll find most of these on the NERO Recorders earlier on. These are usually the Mobile Medical Unit Recordings or Field Data Recordings. Research Field Notes are collected automatically by listening in on the conversations Researchers have with their colleagues while on a mission.

Radio Free Oregon

These are largely automatic, though the trigger is usually completing a mission. Many of these (if not all) are triggered by main story missions. Just make sure to listen to the entire radio broadcast if one comes on after a mission to make sure you get this.

Scattered around the world are historic locations. Search for nearby plaques and bulletin boards with information about these locations.

1Pete Skene Ogden - "Fur Trade Warrior"At the front of the statue in front of the Old Pioneer Cemetery front gate
2Grotto Caves - "The Buried Caves"The first time you come across NERO near the Old Pioneer Cemetery. If you trace from the cave they were investigating back towards the ramp that leads out, stay to the right along the rock wall and you'll find this.
3Caldera Reservoir - "Bombs in the River"There's a hydroelectric dam east of the O'Leary Mountain Safehouse. You'll find this on a board on the west shore just north of the dam.

5Peaceful Lake - "Battle on the Misty Lake"Drive south out of Copeland's camp and stay to the right of the burning pile. This is by the first set of rocks on the right just after the the burn site.
6Teller Cabin - "The Horror House"SE of Bear Lake NERO Checkpoint and NNW of Copeland's Camp. From his camp, ride north until you can cut west without going through water and you'll find it at the bottom of a hill.
