Serana doesn't visit Fort Dawnguard to continue quest?

  1. Ok so I have debated for years if I should post these things, but I'm pretty far along in this game, and I do not want to restart yet another game from the beginning.

    The glitch I'm having in this one is at some point Serana is supposed to show up at Fort Dawnguard and Isran mentions she is there to speak to me, then the quest continues. The only problem is- she doesn't show up. I don't know what to do. I keep going back to see if maybe she does show up, but there's just nothing further for me to do. HELP!! I am on PS4

  1. I am a little confused because she does not show up she is suppose to follow you there literally from Dim Hollow itself. From your statement it seems she did not actually follow you out of the crypt. She is very buggy and maybe stuck trying to vampric drain a dead body which is my guess as to why she is not there.

    Go back to Dim Hollow Crypt and see of you can find her. If she is stuck vampric draining or is just standing still and not moving then you may need to beat her to her knee which should reset her aggro problems and she should follow you afterwards.

It has been a long time since I've played the game, so it's hard for me to remember quest after quest, but I just remember going back everywhere we had been, including Dim Hollow Crypt, and she wasn't there. But the last time I saw her was when Harkon gave me the option to become a vampire or not, and in this game I chose not to, then I was kicked out of Volkihar. But I remember she shows up again at some point at Fort Dawnguard and the story continues...but she just doesn't in this game :( every game I've played has had a glitch somewhere, but this one is kind of important lol

  3. She most likely is in or around Castle Volkihar which will now have the grate down infront of the door as you turned them down. You can plate glitch past it though and get inside again to check. Be prepared of course.

    She may also be stuck somewhere fighting something and needs you to enter the cell so it will end which is another weird bug this game has. You will need to use the Clairvoyant spell ( probably for the second time ever lol ) to see the route she would take from Castle Volkihar to get to Fort Dawnguard to see of she is stuck somewhere fighting something along the roads.
