after the events at Yggdrasil? *spoiler's*

  1. the hero has the mark of the luminary erased and the power it bestowed with it, the evil guy (cant remember his name) clearly destroys it. and yet after the events of Yggdrasil it's still visible on his hand, okay i find that weird but maybe devs forgot to remove it. but in the return to heliador castle the hero CLEARLY call's upon its power to view hendriks past, what!? did i miss something? was this explained? did it just magic itself back? this bothers me more than it should but i cant help it.

  1. It's explained later, but many think it's done rather poorly.

To sum up, the power was drained from the Hero, but because it's essentially part of the Hero, it can't be taken completely. Think of it like donating blood, your body will be able to replenish what you lost with time. There will be an epiphany moment later on where the Hero realizes the power was never GONE, just faint, and that restores him to full (actually better than before) power. It was also kind of a mental block the Hero put on himself unintentionally, he thought he lost the power so he wasn't able to tap into it, because he thought there wasn't anything to tap into. Once he realized it was still there, it came flowing back.
