Make machines follow?

  1. Does anyone know if there's a way to make machines that can't be mounted follow you around?

I know they'll wonder around to some degree; I mean overriding one and having him follow you to another location completely

  1. The machines won't follow you around but if you draw the enemies close enough into the override machine's area it will start attacking them.Unfortunately, given the time limit you have on override machines it won't be enough for you to travel to other location.

Good things is,towards the end game you will have a strider to follow you around. You can call him whenever you want.

  1. While Glenn is correct that you can lure machines into range, they are a bit mistaken in that you only have a limited time.

If you are overriding creatures early game and have not invested points into the override skill tree it is true that you will only have a certain amount of time. BUT, if you purchase all skills in the skill tree not only will you be able to have them overridden until they die you will also have a mount whenever you want. BTW these unlocks are only story locked to the point where you can override machines once unlocked you can unlock them whenever you want. I unlocked all of them before even getting to the carja gate.

  2. At the moment, no. It'd certainly be in Guerrilla Games' interest to add this sort of feature because I can imagine already how incredibly satisfying it'd be to have an army of Tramplers and Longlegs to follow you around and wreak havoc on those who oppose you. Hopefully it'll come, if not you can always call upon your trusty mount!
