Mass Effect: Andromeda, a game about a space journey to the eponymous galaxy, was released on March 21, 2017 in North America. If this date is written in the date format customary in the US, it becomes 3/21 or "three-two-one", the iconic countdown preceding most Real Life spacecraft launches.

Ryder: Not sure anyone likes the kett. But you really seem to hate them.
Bain: What can I say? They're ugly...and I'm a man about aesthetics.
Security Door: (in kett language) Rok tal?
SAM: The system is asking for your authorization. How do you wish to respond?
Ryder: Uh...gosad nura...torak...shura...
Security Door: Nok ra.
SAM: Access denied.
Drack: Getting friendly with Ryder?
Drack: As if you could handle this much krogan.
Cora: I could...but I'd sooner kiss a thresher maw.
Drack: I do know a couple single ones.
Ryder: Let's keep our visit a surprise as long as possible.
Drack: Until we shoot them all, right, Ryder?
Ryder: Yes, Drack. Until we shoot them all.
Addison: Sorry, my face is tired from dealing with...everything.
Bain: (on radio) You're a long way from the flock, little duck.
Ryder: Little duck? Who is this?
Bain: Someone who's got work for you. Come to my navpoint, if you think you're up for it.
Peebee: What do you say, little duck?
Ryder: That is not becoming a thing.
Liam: Caught you napping. Do all angara snore? Or just you?
Jaal: Do all humans whimper in their sleep? Or just you?
Juusov: Mind yourself out here. Not everyone sees the difference between you and the kett.
Ryder: Here's a hint: I'm the good-looking one.
Ryder: You don't watch many horror vids, do you? We have no idea what's down here.
Peebee: And we never will, if we miss something because we're huddled in a group. I'll be careful.
Ryder: Just stay on the radio.
Peebee: I'm on frequency 145.8. Stay safe.
Liam: Ten credits says she ends up in a pit of spikes.
Drack: Who taught you to shoot, Harper? Your stance is all over the place.
Cora: It's a Karita stance. Classic for asari commandos, but it's not for everyone. A krogan, for example, would look like a whale trying to dance ballet.
Drack: Better than looking like a salarian tied to a ceiling fan.
Peebee: Fiends! More than one!
Ryder: We're sure this is the right spot?
Suvi: I'm sure!
Ryder: Perfect. How come the right spot is never by a quiet pond or in a field of wildflowers?
Drack: What's with the smudge over your eyes? Trying to be some kinda superhero?
Peebee: Why all the bones? Trying to be some kinda supervillain?
Jaal: You're so alive, Peebee. More than the others of your species that I've met.
Peebee: I think you're fascinating. Angara are so open with their feelings.
Ryder: This is a little uncomfortable.
Jaal: And humans, as we can see, are not.
Avitus Rix: I know I was...reluctant. But it was the right call. Thanks for the push.
Ryder: Anytime. I love pushing people around.
Avitus Rix: (chuckling) So I hear.
Ryder: From who?
Avitus Rix: ...Everyone.
Connection to Other Media
In one of Liam's missions, players infiltrate a space cruiser and cause a firefight. When the captain radios about the noise, players can bluff, pretending it was a weapon malfunction. This is an obvious nod to Han Solo in Star Wars (1977), even including his "how are you?" line
