Gear for sorcery build?

  1. I want go do a Sorcery build, what is the best equipment (staff, rings, armor (if any of the armor gives benefits to sorcery)) and best sorceries? BMRocker - 5 years ago - report

  1. Same answer as above, with some clarification:

Dusk Crown, boosts your magic, but makes you more vulnerable to sorceries
Any light armor, such as the Court Sorcerer Set, is recommended, as you need to roll a lot.
Young Dragon Ring and Bellowing Dragoncrest Ring stack and give you even more damage.
Sumbering Dragoncrest RIng makes your utility spells last longer, Good for Hidden Body and Spook
Magic Clutch RIng = more spell damage while sacrificing your defenses
    Sage RIng decreases casting speed
Lloyd's Sword Ring, more damage at full health...sometimes I use this with Hidden Body to sneak around mobs and nuke the ever-loving snot out of people.

The Crystal Sage's Staff has the best Steady Chant and can be used with the Court Sorcerer's Staff.

The Soul Spells will be your bread and butter, Soul Arrow, and then moving onto the Great varieties, Great Heavy Soul Arrow will be your main spell against normal enemies, Crystal Soul Spear will be your Nuke against bosses, Hidden Body to become invisible, Spook to be quiet and take no fall damage from great heights. Cast Light if you need a light in dark areas, White Dragon Breath doesn't hit aerial enemies, but it can climb up walls.

That's all I got right now.

  2. Again, all the above, but the clutch ring may not be advisable. The boost is particularly bad in PvP, which you should think about if you're playing online, and it still hurts a lot. Might be better to use the ring of favor. Button_Masher_Z - 5 years ago - report 4   0
  3. Dusk Crown
    Any Top
    Any Bottoms
    Any Gloves

    Magic Clutch Ring
    Young Dragon Ring
    Bellowing Dragon Ring
    Sage Ring +3

Crystal Sage Staff (under 60 Int)
Court Sorcerer's Staff (Above 60 Int)
Grub's Staff (If you go luck rather than int)
