Piper: Jeez, you mutants are not much prettier up close.
Strong: Strong say same about little lady.
Strong: Metal man weak. When metal man smashed, come find Strong.
Codsworth: Weak! I'll have you know I've fended off bloodbugs when necessary!
MacCready: I'd kill for a drink. Come to think of it, I have.
Finn: You just got the look of someone who's in the market for a little insurance.
Sole Survivor: Unless it's "keep dumb assh***s away from me" insurance, I'm not interested.
Duff: You have X-Rays, Beta Rays, Gamma Rays... But which one are we most worried about? The one most associated with the big, old bombs 200 years ago?
Sole Survivor: Who-Gives-a-Crap Rays?
KL-E-0: I've got a weapon for every situation. Hunting, protection, cold-blooded murder... Hot-blooded murder...
X6: I'll be watching, Cait. If you fail to protect this man, I'll know about it.
Cait: Yeah, sure...what are you gonna do? Leak oil all over me?
[The protagonist and Nick Valentine are searching for clues in Kellogg's Diamond City house.]
Player: Gwinnett Stout beer, .44 caliber bullets, and cigars. San Francisco Sunlights.
Nick: Interesting brand. Won't lead us anywhere on its own, though.
Player: What? The great clockwork dick is stumped?
Nick: It's synth detective, jackass.
Knight-Captain Cade: Have you ever had sexual relations with any species considered non-human?
Sole Survivor: Well, there was this one really ugly girl in college... I mean... I had to get drunk and it was a dare...
Knight-Captain Cade: That hardly qualifies...so I'll just put "no".
The Director: I've been monitoring your approach. Impressive. Very impressive...for a lowlife criminal.
Sole Survivor: Well, the mafia wasn't accepting applications. But I do my best.
The Director: That's just what a commie spy would say. Smug bastards.
Sole Survivor: I'm trusting my family's future to a dog. That's it. I'm officially crazy.
Sole Survivor: In a hundred years, when I finally die, I only hope I go to Hell so I can kill you all over again, you piece of s***!
Connection to Other Media
Takahashi, the semi-broken ramen robot in Diamond City, is only capable of one phrase: "nan-ni shimasho-ka?" ("may I take your order?"). His query is a verbatim reference to the noodle vendor's line in Blade Runner (1982). In the Japanese version, Takahashi is voiced by Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series.
